Do vampires deserve second chances?
Jesse Charleston doesn’t think he does. Which is why, when his former flame, delectable human Carley Sinclair, shows up on his doorstep and asks him to turn her into a vampire, he turns her down and sends her away.
Not kindly.
When he discovers that she’s living in the Caribbean, in a community that’s rumored to kidnap humans away from their lives and uses questionable means to keep them from escaping, Jesse knows he has to face his demons and save the girl.
Because he still loves her. He’s never gotten over her.
And he now realizes he never will.
Perhaps vampires deserve second chances after all.
