Just as things start to settle into a bit of a routine, a single phone call from a certain arms dealer halts everything. Evie's spy instincts kick into gear, putting being a parent on the back burner. But it's not the only thing taking a backseat to the mission. Evie's love life also takes a hit when Coop decides not to trust Servario's latest tip from the underworld, and accuses her of feelings Evie isn't sure she can deny.
But when Servario's information is confirmed by an attack on a major city, the team is once again swept up in the chaos that comes with protecting the Burrow.
Only this time the mission isn't saving the burrow from the usual suspects. This time it's saving the world from a young woman on the verge of creating something so deadly Evie isn't sure the Burrow should have it either.
But could you end an innocent's life to stop them from ending everything, including tomorrow?
Don't miss book three in the bestselling Single Lady Spy series!
Caution: Author uses multiple pen names on the same book (different releases/editions). GR policy dictates that the name on the first release remain primary on all subsequent releases. The secondary name would be whatever name is on the cover, if different.
Honestly, I don't know what is happening with this series. I'm lost. I'm so freaking lost!
I love both MMCs. Coop and Servario have everything to offer a woman and they are both offering it to Evie, who I think, right now, is undeserving. Yes, I said it and I stand by it because that is how this book made me feel. I cannot BELIEVE the direction that this love story has taken!
mKay so the action, suspense and thrills were definitely there in this installment. More secrets behind the Burrow and the Organization conspiracies were revealed. The team, with Servario, are still trying to figure out a way to save the world from these two factions. And book 4 is nowhere in sight :(
I really need the author to just give me what I want. Thanks!
If I knew how to dnf this book I absolutely would. I am disappointed, annoyed, frustrated, pissed at everything in this book except Servario. He was the only good thing about The end of tomorrow. I never really liked coop the poop so I'm not even gonna get into him but Evie... Fucking Evie was asking for a fucking punch to the face. She is selfish and UNFAITHFUL. I don't understand why either coop or Servario bother with her. The bitch doesn't know how to keep her legs closed.
You know what's funny and what absolutely killed this book for me is that at one point in the book she is asking absolute commitment from Servario yet she is sleeping with coop every chance she gets. She got on my last nerve. I don't even know how I finished reading this. Poor Servario deserve someone better than this hoe. Find him someone else please. I'm sick of Evie's indecisive shits.
All I'm gonna say is Evie's a no good un loyal bitch that can't commit to one man. I don't even know if I'm going to read the next book in this series but if I do then please Tara brown after making us wait a long while, deliver something amazing unlike this
Ps. The first 50 pages of the book is from the novella "the end of you". Makes me wonder why she released it as a separate book if she was anyway going to mention it in the end of tomorrow. Money? Lol
This might be one of my all-time favorite series! The End of Tomorrow was action packed with plenty of love triangle drama mixed in. This was a great middle book to the series- We learn more about the Burrow and Organization. Evie and Servario are more upfront about their feelings, and Evie is not afraid to draw the line in the sand when it comes to their relationship. And all the while, more questions arise to keep you hooked on the series.
What I Liked:
-Evie continues to grow and become more comfortable in her role as kick-ass spy.
-SEVARIO, OMG “He was a very bad man in all the right ways. A bad man my vagina happened to have a fondness of.” Yeah, you and me both Evie. Servario is hot, Hot, HOT!!!
-The chapter titles had me snickering, especially “Roofie means I love you.”
-Lots of snarky lines like “Try to bring something to the mission beyond being a hooker”
-Evie’s mom- the ultimate spy machine!
-I love the relatability of Evie as a woman trying to balance her love for her children, her job, and the men in her life.
-The love triangle. I completely disagree with anyone who thinks Evie is selfish or unfaithful to Servario. He has lied to her and will not commit. So, why should Evie have to show her dedication to him first? She deserves to enjoy her boy-toy Coop and make Servario suffer a little!
What I’m hoping for in the series:
-Part of me wants a new guy thrown into the battle for Evie’s heart. I think Servario needs a real challenge. In a way, Coop does not count because Servario “let Evie be with him.” It just seems like another way Servario is trying to control her. I don’t think Servario sees Coop as a real threat.
-I want to see Evie really come into her own as a spy
--I loved two men. Not equally and not wholly. But enough to torment us all.
Left with no memory of her recent job, Evie is determined to find out why Sevario erased her memories. Had she done something she shouldn't have? Something she didn't want to remember? Had Sevario done something that he doesn't want her to remember? She intends to find out!
--"No, wait." She shook her head. "No. He didn't make you do anything. You killed and went savage and then saved some teenagers. I think he wanted you to forget the way you kill - it's just better." "How bad?" "Bad."
--She nodded and began teh story with the jet ride I had a slight recollection of. The story took turns I didn't expect, but in the end I decided the headache and confusion were worth not knowing what in the h*ll happened. I hated human ttrafficing more than any single thing in the world. And when my job involved children and human trafficing, I wan't sane. I was something else. We all knew it.
Evie must remember what happened. The clock is ticking. The race is on. Where is the master key? Who is on which side? And what do Evie and her team do about it all? How do you destroy something that is supposed to save the world?
--Is that what you want to die for? The end of Tomorrow? I want to live. I want my life back.
You don't want to miss this installment!! Things are explained, things are more complicated and those that are supposed to be dead..aren't so dead. This book kept me up all night reading, it just might be my favorite of the series so far. Action packed with bad@ss spys, love, longing and everything that I love about Tara's books.
I just read The End of Tomorrow, book three of Tara Brown's Single Lady Spy series as if my life depended on it, yet I'm so frustrated that I just can't give it more stars! I love the non-stop action and spitfire main character in this series, as well as the romantic suspense, but DANG! Way to give a girl whiplash with the constant back-and-forth and general wishy-washiness regarding Evie's feelings for Coop and Servario (mostly Coop)! This feels a lot like the frustration I have for Olivia Pope in regards to Jake Ballard... I want to smack the crap out of both Liv and Evie for how they treat Jake/Coop. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! I'm not even saying that I 100% want Evie with Coop (although I 100% want Olivia Pope with Jake), I just got really tired of her messing with his heart. Plus, I must say that the whole over-the-top, borderline-abusive alpha male thing is just not my cup of tea. Otherwise, this had cool missions and steamy scenes and was a super quick read.
Ummm, yea... Really that's all I have in terms of a review for right now. ☆☆☆
Tara created a strong female lead in this series, but gave her room to grow as a woman. Evie is a mom that always puts her kid's safety first. As a spy she puts her work second. As a woman she puts her happiness last. Evie trusts herself more in this book and doesn't allow either man to trap her feelings. She finally takes charge of what she wants and makes decisions I hope she keeps in the next installment.
This series must be read in order. The first book is. "The End Of Me". The second book is "The End Of Games". This is the third book. I can't wait to read "The End Of Lies"!
Evie's life has been turned upside down. Living in the run and in hiding is taxing. Lying and hiding things from her kids sucks. Now her memory has been taken. Is Servario trying to protect her from herself? Or is that just a ploy to hide something else? Why would he take her memories? How did he take them? Is it permanent? Should she be scared? Will her life ever be here again?
No.... I mean a good love triangle is good. But this is no good. Tara is just making us hate Evie. She asks for respect and loyalty when she is none of both. For me is more than obvious that Evie is not in love with Servario. None of what is described make me think or feel that she does. She is acting like a teenage brat every time she sees Servario. It's more than noticeable she is just in lust, not in love. huge difference. I'm totally on board for reading the next installment, but just because the whole other story is great and I can't deny myself a good thrill like that.
I thought the first two books in this series were good, but nothing prepared me for the third. Evie has grown in to the fearless female she was always meant to be. She can handle two hot, dangerous men, her mother (who just may be a better spy than her), and still manage to raise her two kids. Evie comes full circle in this one and anyone on her list had better watch out!
The End of Tomorrow is the third book in The Single Lady Spy Series and it is full of sex, lies, bad guys, hot guys, and a killer granny. I love cooper and I just want to shake some sense into Evie, choose Cooper he is definitely the better choice. I have really enjoyed reading this series and can’t wait to start the last book in this series.
Thank you Tara for another fantastic story. Could not stop turning the pages, even with heavy eyes begging for sleep, I found myself unable to stop looking at the pages willing more of the story into my tired brain.
Tara never disappoints loved how a bad as mom can kill to clean the world of evil for her children. While still struggling as any other women In love after killing her Baster husband lol. Can’t wait to start the other book
WOW once again Evie leaves you loving her spy life and understanding the stupid decisions she makes. It has been so long since I read the last book that I forgot how awesome these books are and how much I love them. Evie, vicious as ever and on her mission to save girls from the sex trade holds no punches and kicks some ass! Leaving your head spinning and a love triangle has never looked so nice! This book is filled with so much HOT!, sad, disgusting, proud, shocked, and giggle worthy moments, how do you even try to wrap this up! I will be chomping the bit waiting for the next one to find out what happens next, we are left on the brink with this one, and book 4 is gonna be fan-freaking-tastic!
I really liked this series in the beginning but I feared it would turn into a ridiculous, unbelievable love triangle....and it did. Tara Brown really loves her love triangles. I do not. Unless done right it makes the one who "loves" two people look dense, disloyal, wishy washy, and a complete unlikable jackass. That's Evie.... who we are all supposed to be supporting. No thanks, I hate her and won't read another word about her selfish crap.
OMG not enough words to say how good this book was. I cannot wait for the next 2 books! It has had me in a roller coaster of emotions. Talk about a love triangle. My heart deceives me about who she should pick. And please let us NOT forget all the chaos going around them! Is her dad evil too? Does her mom know more than she is saying? I mean it is a whirlwind but I am glad I found the series and became a part of it.
Good god I'm in love with this series . I can not wait to meet you Tara ,I've not brought a full series in over a year but half way through book of book one I one clicked all 3 .I'm hooked totally, i laughed ,cried been on the edge of my seat reading all the books over the weekend and I need the next two ,I'm rooting for servario ,yes I know he's the bad man but my god I want him too Can't wait for more Tara ,I'm just starting blood and bone
“He must love you an awful lot to punch you.”I started to laugh. “You sound like one of those abuse commercials. He only hits me because he loves me. Right?”
I was disappointed that the first 27% of the book was regurgitated from the novela. Also, if Evie is going to as Servario to be faithful she should be able to give him the same. Can't wait for the next book! Team Servario!!! :)
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is one of those series that simultaneously bothers me and intrigues me. I just can't get enough. The way Servario and Coop talk to Evie needs significant improvement. Honestly, I wouldn't put up with it if I were her. But the way Evie is stringing both of them along also needs significant improvement.
I'm obsessed with Evie and her world. This time, up is down and you don't know who is bad and who is good. Evie's love life is pretty much the same way. She struggles between Coop and Servario. I love dynamics between the characters and if you're team Servario, you'll definitely be pleased with this installment.
I loved that the characters continue to peel back more layers as they develop over the novels. I can never anticipate what is going to happen next and by whom. Can't wait to read more. To better understand the characters, interactions and responses you have to have read the previous entries.
Book 3 makes you feel like a junkie....not only are you waiting to see what's to come, but also which hot guy Evie will pick. One thing is sure...Evil is a kick ass spy!!
