The Glock: A Cutting Edge Weapon that Captured the Law Enforcement, and Tactical Shooting Market

Rate this book
>>>The Glock stormed the shooting world in 1982 with a Polymer framed sidearm. It was cutting edge technology from a knife manufacturer, of all things. The design went even further than that! It certainly cut a big chunk out of the Law Enforcement Market! <<<

The Glock was lighter than anything previously made, and offered firepower in an abundance of rounds and calibers. Even the barrel rifling was cutting edge! It has accuracy, and extreme reliability. The timing was perfect for this weapon to ride the Law Enforcement militarization and war on drugs bandwagon to the max.

Working against the Glock initially was the stigma of being a Fisher Price or Tupperware weapon. Those detractors were soon eating crow as the Glock won over customer after customer with it's features , and the options it offered to all shooters.

The Glock was like someone running for President that was not re-warmed from the last century, and past dynasties. It was as memorable, fresh, and brash as Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump. This was a weapon that stirred up it's base, instead of putting them to sleep!

>>> Learn about the excellent firepower and calibers the Glock comes in.<<<

Learn how the Glock design makes the sidearm so reliable, accurate, and safe.

>>> Learn how to field strip the gun, clean it, inspect it, and more. Learn how few parts it has, and how interchangeable the magazines, and barrels can be. <<<

Finally, learn how the weapon put heavy emphasis on tactical shooting as opposed to target shooting in it's design. This weapon is well suited for Law Enforcement, Combat, and Tactical purposes.

Short and to the point, this is a very good read!

Mike Francis does an excellent job of providing maximum information using minimum words. Mike also supplements his writing with videos on topics such as field strip details, pros and cons of Glock ownership, etc.
Also mentioned are contacts for Glock accessories. Because of the immense popularity of the Glock pistol (worldwide) you can understand why the Glock has thousands of providers of accessories for the pistols.
The Glock shoots well right out of the box but if you prefer, for example, a three and a half pound trigger pull over a stock five and a half pound pull, it's doable. My personal Glock 19 has night sights that were on the pistol when I bought it. If you'd like different sights on your Glock be assured, it's easy enough to accomplish with the many references in this book.
A lot of good information packed in a small book. Maybe a 30 minute read but it will be, IMHO, time well spent.
