No pictures?

This is a fairly breezy introduction to model railroading. As I am a novice at this myself I can't comment on the accuracy. I can comment on the copy editing which appeared to be nonexistent. Some of the text was so garbled as to be meaningless. But the biggest fault, in my opinion, was the total lack of illustrations. No track layputs. No pictures of equipment or scenery or buildings or ... I gave the book the second star because the last chapter on scenery had some useful information on weathering and construction. It also had a brief selection of references and internet links. Perhaps in future editions, if any, the publisher may want to strike "Ultimate" from the title.
