Rate this book
As if on cue, my phone starts to ring. For a split second I hope it might be Gabriel. Why he’d be calling, I have no idea. But I guess I haven’t gotten out of the habit of hoping it’s him calling. Every time the phone rings. It’s only a tiny little hope, these days. But it’s there.

Back in the Alaskan cold, Kate McDonald has fled from Gabriel Call and the single most cutting betrayal of her life. All she wants is to do is write, and forget, and move on with her life. But passion like the two of them shared isn't so easily left behind, and while Kate is tormented by trying to understand if she's done the right thing, life is changing both at home and back in San Francisco.

Kate will finally have to confront her feelings for her high school flame, Sam Bowman, and make hard decisions about her future. Will she stay? Will she go? And how can the hurt of the past possibly be repaired?

Flames is the fourth instalment of the ongoing Blaze series of erotic romance novels. It contains vivid sex and romance scenes and is unsuitable for readers below 18. It features cliffhangers and an ongoing storyline.

Really

This book was a joke. I mean really to wait all that time for the book to come and nothing. This book ends with the same dilemma as the previous books. Still pining for Gabriel. Still treating Sam poorly although he is clearly a handsome stand up guy. Katy is just selfish and full of herself. She is one of the most irritating leading ladies I have come across in quite sometime. She is never sure of herself and always needs someone to validate her. Grow up already geez.
