Atreverse a vivir

Much of our lives are spent going through the motions. We go to work. We take care of our family. We try to get through each day the best we can. There really doesn’t seem like there is much room for anything else.

At some point though, we realize that our life isn’t exactly what we had dreamed it would be. We realize that we’ve spend much of our time letting fear run our lives. We’ve told ourselves that we can’t follow our dreams because we aren’t smart enough, rich enough, or courageous enough to do so. We can’t show our true selves because someone might think we are silly. They might even stop loving us.

Dare to Live looks at fear in all its many forms and manifestations. The book discusses how we allow fear to limit us and how these seemingly real barriers can be supplanted with healthier behaviors. The author also includes a variety of easy to use meditations that can be used to improve awareness and release unhealthy ways of thinking and acting.

I have been reading so many books but was unable to review!
But I'm unable to resist myself for this one.
The title already said lot about this book!
This book has kind of power to change yourself change the thinking process into a positive one.
The readers can literally learn a lot about this one
~We often feel fear in many phase of our life but sometimes the fear is so illogical and even don't have any context.
~ But still we feel something is stopping us!
~ That time we need to let our mind erase what is useless
~We have to value our time!
This book talks about our biggest obstacle of success "Fear" and also scientific way of overcoming it!
The best part of this book, that I liked about the book is how the author the importance of silence/being silent!
"With the practice of silence you will be able to calm down the speed of your thoughts and listen to your heart. The power of silence takes you beyond all the limited attractions and any physical possession !
To reach Wholeness, a complete and perfect state, it is necessary to recover the Power of Silence"

This book is even much more than what we can think of!
I just can't describe the whole thing as it talks about so many things in a beautiful way and all in simple yet lucid language!
The title is just perfect if you judge it by the content!
Overall, a must read!

This is one of those books that just annoys me.
Yes , it's better for us to wear rose tinted glasses, living life in silence, meditation, allowing pains, aches, worries, thoughts, to just flow by like a cloud ☁️
But we are on this earth having a human experience wearing Shades..it must be so difficult to forgive a rapist, a murderer someone that's done you the highest wrong! Yet we are supposed to just allow it to flow by, the past is done. Think positive thoughts and life will be bliss. 🥺

While the message is interesting and important, the writing is quite annoying and made it difficult to get through even the first chapter. Subirana is from Spain, I think, so the issue might partly be one of writing in a foreign language...but not entirely.
