This book was okay but left room for major improvement. I really think I could've enjoyed this book more if the characters had more development and their stories as well. Everything in this book just seemed so fast paced; skipping from one part to the next. Also, some of the characters had many similarities (tattooting names, d*ck size, etc.) and not enough differences. Nonetheless, I did like this book.

I gave this book only four stars because for one there was some errors that the Author made. Two there was some parts in the book I was like what the shell, like when the Author mention Nic was pregnant and was only 5 weeks and her man Kendrick was looking at her and said he notice she had a small judge of a belly. Ahh that is not even possible, not in this life time. The next thing when Nic and Kendrick got engaged the book said he gave her a 13 karat ring, like oh shell no now u just pushing it. The book was way too exaggerated and too much make up stuff. I still enjoy the book and will read book 2.

King Men
I have to admit all them darn K's were confusing, but I enjoyed the book. Why Trenton why??? And Michael, omg, boy go somewhere. These folks are not handling rejection well. I think the old Kings need to have sit down with the young Kings. The young Kings are underestimating the damage these messy, jealous chicks can cause. So looking forward to part 2. All I gotta say is Kendrick better not be, dead, disfigured or paralyzed. Shvonne girl in part 2 I'm really going to need you not to play with my emotions when it comes to Kendrick and Nic.

As the debut series by the author, *Good Girls Love Thugs 1-5 *was a solid first effort. I enjoyed the overall plots and the emotional highs and lows woven throughout the books, but I found myself wishing for more depth and development in some areas. The pacing kept me turning the pages, yet certain character arcs felt repetitive—particularly with Kendrick.
Kendrick was portrayed as intelligent, but he repeatedly made the same mistakes. Unlike his brothers, who seemed to grow and learn from their missteps, Kendrick remained trapped in a cycle of poor decisions and emotional immaturity. The use of sex as a way to resolve conflicts became predictable and, at times, frustrating.
Despite these issues, the series did a commendable job of addressing real-life social struggles such as drug addiction, the overwhelming burden of young motherhood, and sex addiction. These themes added an important layer to the otherwise drama-filled narrative. However, characters like Nic and Kendrick became hard to root for due to their lack of growth, impulsive choices, and ineffective communication.
What stood out most was the message that love, especially in young relationships, requires more than just passion—it demands trust, maturity, and self-awareness. Unfortunately, the young kingpins in this series often lacked the emotional intelligence needed to sustain love in a healthy way.
Overall, while some parts tested my patience, I appreciated the rawness and ambition of the series. I look forward to seeing how the author's storytelling evolves in future works.

Just Okay
When I chose this story it was one because the sypnosis was so good and the reviews were as well. Now what I got was a.hot juvenile mess! The writer introduces us to group of young people, who in my opinion are out of control. The young adults in there early 20's are just ridiculous, I am not going to touch on the parents because it is just completely crazy. I mean you let your children make decisions that give an adult person pause,I mean no one puts up a fight.Also the situations that occur in this story are quite disturbing. Also the typos are numerous and they take away from the serious of some of the scenes. There are also no lead in,when going from.one scene to the next and we are not getting a lot of dialogue. The story is not as developed as it should be and I think maybe some more editing needs to be done.Now that I have shunned,let me say that this story has much potential it just needs a little editing. I like the fact we have some level headed young men in this story who know what they are about. The action is none stop and the humor is spot on when needed..Overall I think this was not a bad story,it was just not what I was expecting.

This book was interesting even with so much sex going on with these group of individuals. I though Jessica was too much of a hot head in this story and the author could have done a better job with writing her character. What I don't enjoy is a book full of drama with girls because then I lose interest in the story although I did finish this book. I thought that Kendrick was really trying hard to be faithful, however he seems to be in for a rude awakening if he doesn't get himself together. Another issue with the story is how the author went on to describe too much of the characters appearance which has been mentioned throughout many books. The tattooing was a bit too much because it was totally high school. I didn't think the tattoos worked in this story because who cares about markings. I like how each girl had each others back. If one had a problem her friends were there to her back and down for the cause. Overall the story was a good read and I look to read second books to find out if things went from better to worse.

Wow, what a start.... What an introduction!!!
Really this series is bomb with such of a fantastic intro.
Kendrick wow, bae all day everyday, 365 days... Alpha, boss, thug, he is everything and hope he can contain his loyalty....
Nic, man she is GOOD, soooo good.... Beautiful, respectful, loyal, intelligent and nurturing while still be a little freak.
Kendreis an Morgan, hummmm like as well as Kendon and Jessica (who already has history) and Kayden and Cassy. This is so entertaining and up to par.
I surely hope that Paris, Gina, July, Tia, Danielle, Michael get a meeting with Karma because they are truly getting there.
What's nice is the evolution or growing up that you can feel that they are doing or have done throughout the story. Very well developed to be able to determined which couple you relate to. I am leaning on Kendrick and Nic as well as Kendreis and Morgan. Let me go find out if you did my bae wrong MS. Latrice...

This book was something else. I swear this thots be thinking its more then what it is and when a man gets them a wifey they want to start showing out and bringing drama for no reason. Like move around you was just a piece of ass nothing serious you had the dick it was never yours just be glad you got to taste it sh*t. Some of these thots in here was petty especially Paris she act like she couldn't take the hint at all. Candance lmaoo she got wat she deserved you see the man with his women why keep going on though. I didn't like the ending cuz my boo got hurt so hoping he's okay loll

This was a good read!
Good Girls Love Thugs was such a good story! It was very unpredictable and entertaining. I thought the story would go a different way, but I like the direction the author took it. It's cool to see the girls each have one of the King brothers and their cousin Kayden. I'm interested in seeing how the story will play out, especially since it ended the way it did. I'd definitely recommend this story to anyone who likes hood romance stories. It'll keep you wanting to read more about Nic, Jessica, Morgan, and Christy, and the King boys.

Everything is too Cheesy
This book is way too predictable. It is also Giddy. Its one of them things where if it seems too good to be true it usually is. Everything in this book is too perfect. Not enough real life drama. All the sex scenes are too similar. Its winter and she has on booty shorts then the suddenly weather is warm again. The timelines dont add up. The baby is doing stuff at a month old that he coulnt possibly know how to do until much older. I started this jouney, im going to finish it.

No reason for a kingpin to run the day to day operations of a strip club. No reason not to fire strippers that are out of line. No reason to do all the executions, if you are truly a kingpin. Telling incriminating information of crimes to the point that is nearing public information. Too convenient for the four brothers to get one of the four besties. There is not enough security around yet the lesson is not learned. A stranger walked up to you and lip don’t hesitate to give identifying information.

I dnf’d at chapter 8, 31 pages in. First, there was so many characters and then she added brothers with K names. All 8 chapters was high school girl sleeping with grown men. The 8th chapter is a 17 year old banging a 36 year old man. He asked her her age and told her his and he still….🤢
Not gone lie, as a teen I would have devoured this book. It was typical format for what we passed around in High School… smh.
The chapters were very short and that’s why I kept going, but chapter after chapter of pedo sex was not it.

It’s a book about 4 home girls that find love in thugs and it’s written oh so beautifully. I give it 5 stars. It’s definitely the adult version. I found it a page turner and it was hard to put down to be honest.
The scenes can be explicit but once you read taking him into my mouth or panties moved to the side you already know what time it is.
The book ended like woah and I was already reading the 2nd one. 🥰

Damn that was unexpectedly good
This book had a slow start for me I was tempted to put it down . It started with a bunch of young girls and I usually don’t like to read when the characters are so young . It took a minute but once I got past the first few chapters it was interesting then it just went like the breeze. Let me check out the second book the I’ll be able to comment on this tale .

This would have been so much better if the author would have focused on one love story each book. The jumping back and forth between the friends just didn't work for me ESPECIALLY listening to the audiobook. It could have possibly worked if each friend had their own narrator.
If you enjoy reading about young fast high school girls who date men older than them, this book may be for you....🙄

Great Read
Lord the drama in this book had me hooked. I love all the ladies they keep me cracking up . The King brothers are very interesting as well. Honestly I think Apple is going to be a problem I can’t wait to see will she be able nab her a King . The ending got me rushing to read the second book 👏🏽.

I found Book 1 to be very interesting with all the different love stories in the making. This was a recommended book and I am sad that it took me so long to actually get to it in Audiobook form. The story at first had me really thinking if this was a book for me but as it progressed I was glad I didn't let it go. Loved the narration and I am ready for book 2 :).

Ok they were doing way too damn much. This read like the script to a damn Tubi movie. There was a LOT of sex scenes with all these under aged girls and the scenes were corny. I just wasn’t feeling it. This was my first book by this author. I’ve heard great things but I’m not so sure. Maybe I should try a different series because I’m not impressed.

Must read!!
Those King brothers are the truth!! This was a great read! I know there is more drama to come. I'm gonna need Nic to have some tough skin because I can see her having to deal with a lot of foolery. Can't wait to read part 2!

Wow. This book kept me mesmerized.
The plots for each of the characters was well written. Man, these how's out here are fearlessness in their disrespect.. No wonder a few of the received beat downs. I cannot wait to read the next part to this story.

I normally love stories by this author but i have finally ran across something i didn’t even like. There was a real plot to me basically you had 4 relationships going on but it was nothing but sex through out the entire book. I can’t even finish the series. I just need some cliff notes
