To be honest, the story was much better than I expected. I appreciated the diversity of the students in Mrs. Murphy's class and how the author balanced a story with all of the nonfiction content. The Fun Facts, Reflection Questions, and Experiments pages at the back make it very easy to take the book to the next level. And after kids hear/read the story, they are going to want to do just that.
