"Faith the Cinderella Fairy" by Daisy Meadows is a fun and exciting twist on the story of Cinderella! As the rest of the Rainbow Magic series follows, Rachel and Kirsty travel to fairy world in order to save the fate of the fairy tales. Jack Frost has stolen all of the fairytale fairies' magical items with the help of his evil goblins. Without these items, the fairytales are blank and therefore, Jack Frost can change them to be about himself. In this particular book, the girls meet Faith, who is entrusted in saving the Cinderella story and returning the stolen glass slipper to Cinderella. The characters are vivid, brave, and selfless as they take on this crazy adventure. I particularly enjoyed Jack Frost's goblins because they added an element of mischief to the story. The author does a commendable job of incorporating the story of Cinderella that we all know and love while also adding her own enchanting twists. The illustrations brought the story to life while also enhancing the magic of the fairytale. I very much enjoyed this story and felt transported into a fairytale world.

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

1.25 Stars!

I didn’t really like this one, it was pretty boring. As silly as Gwen’s book was, there were some fun elements there. Anyway, here are the few things I actually liked:
-I love Faith’s design! I like how her dress is kind of reminiscent of the one Cinderella’s step-sisters had torn up and I think her hair looks perfect. My one nitpick would be the shoes because it makes no sense for them to be this weird pale yellow when they could’ve just been silver.
-Starting the book with Rachel opening a window the same way Cinderella does was an excellent choice!
-Seeing Cinderella’s evil step-sisters just reminded me of when Jack Frost pretended to be an evil step-sister in Paige the Christmas Play Fairy. (And what if I said he looked better than them?)
-“I told you, you have to call me Cinderfrost!” - oh I just know the goblins are so sick and tired of his ass

Basically the same as any other rainbow magic book. So boring because they don't change it at all I get why its popular in a way because fantasy magic! Cute outfits! Basically what any kid wants to read but it does not challenge them at all and that's why I find these books so annoying and I definitely would never recommend this whole series to anyone. If you're looking for a nice fantasy try something like Harry Potter or Keeper of the lost cities with actually character development and is so good and not too mature for anyone but still good.

Another strong book in the Fairytale Fairies series. The girls' plan to get the slipper back was a nice touch and led to some fun illustrations. Jack Frost's personality comes through nicely in this series--a villain who is out for himself, but not evil. His interactions with his goblin henchmen in this series have been fun. Looking forward to the final book.

This book made me laugh. They just had gotten to the dance room and they saw someone cleaning the room. Cinderella's stepsisters had came into the room and they were trying to show them how to do the dance but they weren't doing right.

This was yet another underwhelming story from the Rainbow Fairies series. The girls turn into fairies unnecessarily to try and get a magic object back from Jack Frost, use some highly selective fairy magic that is pretty useless, and finally triumph by accident more then design.

I bought this in a set at my daughter's school book fair. We read it together in one sitting as it's only 60 pages. She really enjoyed it and looks forward to reading the next one next weekend! I believe most little girls ages 7-9 would love these books!
