Before getting to my review, I'll say that the first two parts of this series remained at a steady 3 stars. It wasn't until after reading the last part that my rating increased. I rounded up from 3.75 stars. As an overall, I enjoyed this series.
Leo King and Samantha Webber......
Leo King is the CEO of a popular woman's magazine. His personality is much to be desired. He is arrogant and condescending. Throughout the book, Sam constantly referred to him as an A-hole. And he was definitely that. Even despite his genuine feelings for Sam, he remained an arrogant jerk.
Sam worked for Leo as his assistant. She did not like him but she needed her job so she put up with his attitude. What impressed me about Sam was that she freely spoke her mind, regardless of her status as Leo's employee.
Tension starts from the first pages when Leo tells Sam he needs her to pretend to be his wife. He gives her an offer she can't refuse. However, Leo doesn't give her the truth. That was something I didn't like. He was full of lies. It became his norm, that he only confessed when he was caught.
This book was predictable but I didn't mind. I did enjoy this book. And the end was pretty good.
I liked Sam as a character. She was real and sassy. Some of the things she said were funny. I loved the moments when she put Leo in his place. Which was often. Sam, on the other hand, had to earn my respect. Yes he was wealthy, good looking and sexy but his attitude bothered me a bit, and his inability to be honest as well.
This book was written in first-person perspective giving us Sam's POV. That said, I would have liked this book a lot more, perhaps loved it, if we had Leo's POV as well. There were many moments in this book where I wondered his true intentions. I wanted to trusting understand him more than I did. Being inside his 'head' would have made this book better. But that is just my opinion. My preferences are dual perspectives. I know that a lot of readers are fine with just one, and I respect that. I just prefer two.
That said, there are two more King brothers that we got to meet briefly. They have their own books and I admit to being curious about their stories. Not to sound like a hypocrite, I may read them despite my perspective preference.

As i can't find the full boxset listed on Goodreads, I'm reviewing this one individually.
So, in being honest, I'll say that ultimately I don't think the style of this author's writing is for me. I didn't really enjoy most of the interaction between Leo and Samantha - it being overly rushed, repetitive and confusing because of it. They spent more time being snarky with each other than making sense. I found the main twist regarding the two relationships Sam was having simultaneously to be predictable from the start.
That said, the book finally redeemed itself a little in the last third when the Sam and Leo finally started being honest with each other and communicating about their feelings, once that happened, the sex stopped feeling so detached and moved into the hot zone. I did like it, but I don't think I'll read the second two books

Samantha Webber, the crude, no-nonsense heroine with a mouth that would make a sailor blush, stole the show. Her extreme reactions to different situations were a constant source of uncontrollable laughter. Refined, wealthy Leo King was another unusual character and a perfect complement to Miss Webber's crudeness. I found this story fast-paced and extremely funny with plenty of sizzling hot passion between the two main characters. Very entertaining!!!

This book is so totally unbelievable!!! Grabbed me from the first page all the way to the end!! Cockiness, lies, fiestiness and so much humour!!

Part One:
In the short span of this novella, I became quite attached to Samantha and Leo. The energy of this story is what pulled me in so quickly and the unexpected emotional ties are what have me anxious for more. Despite working together, Samantha and Leo are very much at odds, and it is fairly evident that an underlying lust is responsible for their continual clashing. Undeniable attraction in the workplace has the potential to burn up the pages and Coco Cadence did not let me down. Possessed is smoking, fueled by an irrefutable pull between these two characters and an overwhelming dichotomy of emotions. Novellas tend to move quickly with feelings building fast and crashing hard. This novella is certainly no exception. Leo is definitely the kind of BBF you should probably buckle up for, but I have a good feeling that the ride is going to be worth it. Already, Possessed is snarky, HOT, and deliciously feisty. I’m always a huge fan of the fake relationship that gets out of hand storyline, but Coco really took this story to another level at the end of this novella when she threw in a completely unexpected twist. I’m dying to know what is going to happen next.
Part Two:
Possessed: Part 2 has given Sam the upper hand. Leo’s lies (or omissions of truth) drive a wedge between these two, causing their “relationship” to go up in flames. While I was shocked by the plot twist, I think I was even more surprised by Leo’s reaction to Sam being hurt by him. So far we’d seen the sexy, fun, alpha Leo, but Part 2 gives us a deeper look at this character. Coco Cadence delivers Leo’s vulnerability and flaws in a way that endeared him to me even more. Character development was a huge part of this installment, carefully unraveling Leo to reveal his true depth. Sam was no exception. We get to see a stronger side to her as she makes self-preservation her mission. She proves to be just as vulnerable as Leo, but fierce nonetheless. We definitely got to experience some genuine emotion between this couple, as well as some sizzling moments of undeniable attraction. We also see Leo and Sam really getting to know each other on a more basic level and that gave them a true tangibility as a couple. Coco Cadence cleverly dropped hints along the way as to the next big twist in the story and I was fairly certain I knew what revelation was coming next for Leo and Sam. Even still, I found myself reveling in the emotions of that moment when the next truth comes to light, forcing Sam’s world to shift once again. Filled with the fun, sexy banter I’ve come to love between these two, Part 2 was steamy and surprisingly sweet.
Part Three:
Now that all of Leo and Sam’s secrets are out, Coco Cadence heats things up in the final installment of the Possessed serial. Free of their inhibitions, Sam and Leo light their story on fire. Coco Cadence never ceases to entertain with her snarky banter and quirky characters. Leo King continues to surprise me, bringing all of his alpha personality to the pages of this novella. He’s possessive, demanding, sexy, and has a mouth that will make you absolutely blush. He also happens to have an unexpected sweet side that will leave you melting. I knew we were in for some serious tension with the revelation we were left with at the end of part two and Coco Cadence did not disappoint. Part 3 is just as sweaty as it is sweet and Leo and Sam seem to have unleashed even more lust in this book. I was impressed with Coco Cadence’s plot development in this novella. While things with Leo and Sam certainly moved in the anticipated direction, the twists and turns of their story kept me guessing and prevented the story from feeling too predictable. Sam’s actions not only surprised me, but helped showcase her overall character growth since the story began. We also get to see both an incredibly sexy and controlling Leo and a less cocky and emotionally vulnerable Leo in this installment. This gave the character more complexity and authenticity. I adored every heated exchange and sarcastic comment volleyed between Leo and Sam. Part 3 was a great way to wrap up their story and I am looking forward to seeing what Coco Cadence will tackle next.

After reading a diff book by this author I had high hopes for this series. But it was so unbelievable, terrible predictable plot, horrible dialogue, and in need of some editing.

Leo is the CEO of a magazine, Samantha is his personal assistant, and he acts atrocious to her all the time. Demanding that she be on call for him 24/7 every day. Even on the weekends he expects her to work for him. Well, he has hit a new low with his request of her. She is his fence in this fleecing meet with his parents. This book goes through a range of emotions for Sam, and she has every right to be angry with the way she is treated by Leo. I don't want to give too much away, but she has a secret relationship online with someone that is a Dominant, and she enjoys submitting to him. It is all done via text, images, and video clips. Read on and see what happens. It was a funny read. Especially on the fact that her job only has a unisex bathroom with multiple stalls and both genders may be in the restroom at the same time. The private jet is even funnier with what happens. Read it. You will be entertained. I could not put the book down.
What happens when you can't love the man you want to love, however you cannot help but to love him? Finding out he is married for real, and not telling you can hurt. What would you do to get back at him if he did that to you? Read on and see what Sam does and how she handles the situation. Remember that credit card that she was given to buy clothes for the trip to see his parents? Did she give it back? Did she keep it? What does she do next after their night together? Does she give him a chance? Will she listen to what has truly happened and how he really feels? This is definitely one heck of a read. I could not put the book down.
Think about what you are hoping for at the conclusion of the second book. Do you think it is going to happen? Do you think it is never going to happen? What happens when Marilyn won't give Leo what he wants? What does he do to make it right? Does he? Can he? Can Sam help? Not according to Leo. See what happens after her sneaking behind his back to help him. What happens to Marylin? Talk about an East Side vs. West Side gang war type story between these two mixed with Romeo and Juliet. This whole series is a BDSM on the mild side of the spectrum for what you see in the lifestyle.It really feels more on the romance side of things, but well worth the read for the three books. I could not put the book down.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, secrets, betrayal, and heartbreak.
This is Samantha and Leo’s story. Leo needs Samantha to pretend to be his wife. Problem is he is a jerk. They bicker all the time and she is not sure she can act like she loves him. She wants him but she can resist can’t she? As they try and get to know each other and build a pretend relationship they both keep secrets. They both run hot and cold you wonder if they are truly going to pull this pretend marriage off. What happens when one of the secrets comes out? Seems like we need book 2!!
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Seems like every time they get to a good place some other bomb is dropped and Samantha is always the one getting crushed with all the shrapnel. Can Leo fix all the mistakes he has made and makeup for all the secrets and lies?
Leo and Samantha have a ton of chemistry and can laugh and poke fun at each other. They are a great couple if they could just stop hurting each other and come together for the right reasons and not the wrong ones.
I recommend this book and this series.

Seems like every time they get to a good place some other bomb is dropped and Samantha is always the one getting crushed with all the shrapnel. Can Leo fix all the mistakes he has made and makeup for all the secrets and lies?
Leo and Samantha have a ton of chemistry and can laugh and poke fun at each other. They are a great couple if they could just stop hurting each other and come together for the right reasons and not the wrong ones.
I recommend this book and this series.

She wants him but she can resist can’t she? As they try and get to know each other and build a pretend relationship they both keep secrets. They both run hot and cold you wonder if they are truly going to pull this pretend marriage off. What happens when one of the secrets comes out? Seems like we need book 2!!
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

PART ONE....Elizabeth and Adrian meet during an art exhibit. The draw is immediate for Adrian, he must have her. Turns out, he has something she must have. Jeeeeeeez! Coco's writing is phenomenal! entranced and captivated from the start, I found it hard to put this down. While reading this, you can vividly see everything that occurs. that is how fantastic Coco's writing really is. I loved the storyline; it is sexy and humorous all in one. I really can not wait for part 2 to see what happens!
Part two:
Coco Cadence is back with Possessed: Part 2. Part 2 starts off where Part 1 dramatically ended. With drama and sex this series can not go wrong. The humour this story is comical and the writing is phenomenal. I can't summarise this story without spoilers for part 1, so will just leave my thoughts.
Holy mother of cows! Coco has done it again! With passion, humour and drama, she really does bring the sexy back! After all the happened in part 1, Sam is doomed to Leo's charms even after shit hit the fan. Leo is one of those obnoxious, arrogant men, who thinks they can charm their way out of anything. Not this time. Sam is a stubborn mare who thinks she is immune to him. Nope, after a few drinks no one can be immune to a sex god that is Leo. I really, really enjoyed reading this. Love the serious and can't wait for part three!
Part three.
At last! Part 3 is finally here and what can I say? it was amazing, explosive and HOT as hell! In part 2 we learn what an asshole Leo King really is and we come to know of Sam Webber's dirty sexting with Mr Awesome. I won't spoil what happens which is difficult because they are short books. But drama enfolds here and so much more.
Written to perfection Coco Cadence really does have talent and a dirty imagination! This is a must read!

A Really Terrific Series!
I highly enjoyed reading this series, especially when reading this blurb from the first book.

It is seriously difficult to put down and i raced my way through, turning page after page going from book to book until I was finished. I found myself reading at every opportune moment and found myself thinking about the story and being exasperated that I couldn't be reading it when i wasn't able. I definitely recommend this series, and can't wait to read more from this talented author. I was gifted this box set for an honest review.

This was funny and infuriating!!! UGH!!! There is no way in crap I would let Leo get away with everything he did so easily. It doesn't matter whether I love him or not. What he did was so wrong in soooo many ways. Make up sex is suppose to be sweet, comforting, loving, and full of promises not being tied down and told what to do. That could have waited until later, Sam should have been questioning everything and seen what happened coming a mile away after that. She should have made him make love to her to prove that he loved her. She is a bit naive, but strong willed and full of everything that makes someone awesome. I love her so much I wanted to smack so sense into her. She definitely should have made him pay in more ways than he did. I love how she tells him what she thinks of him every chance she gets. He is definitely the biggest butthole than I have ever met. He is so obnoxious I would have punched him or smacked whenever I could instead of just thinking about it. Screw the job if he deserves it tell him. Oh My Gods he is such a freaking chicken!!!! Ugh! I can't find anymore words to show how I feel. I love these kind of stories, but I hate them at the same time. Excellent Job Coco!!

I loved reading Possessed - The Complete Series, all about Samantha Weber she's and Administrative Assistant to the CEO Leo King her boss. Sam hates her boss as much as she desires him! Of course he doesn't know anything about this or does he. Sam works hard during the day, almost tirelessly and all he seems do to and be is an idiot! She does have an outlet at night she signed up for an App on her phone and talks with Mr. awesome and he makes her feel great both personally and intimately, she can tell him anything and she does on a nightly basis. The author wrote a very seductive series, and the characters bring said series to life. Leo King thinks he's the be all and that, and what ever he wants he gets, and what he wants is his assistant, unbeknownst to her. He comes up with a plan for her to become his fake wife, and he won't take no for an answer! Read this story series, and see if you can fall for Leo & Sam, because just when you do they will do something you don't like! Check out this bundle, I loved it!

This series.. WOW there are no words to describe it. I'm still trying to decide how to put into words what I want to say. I loved this book and the characters.
Lets start with Leo King that man ooh I wanted to hate him and love him all within a few pages. He is the broody, sexy, alpha, domineering and his mouth.. holy hell even just reading it his talking made me blush at times. Extra panties are needed ladies for this man. But we also see a sweet side of Leo when he ends up having to grovel and win back Sam and show her what she truly means to him.
Sam is strong and feisty and I absolutely adored her. Throughout the story she grew to be even better. I love her banter with Leo and the chemistry between them. Holy Hotness on a stick!!
These two could light a match without a flame thats how hot they are and can be together!!

You know those books that have to much internal dialogue? Yeah this isn't one of them. The character interaction is pretty much the basis of this book, and I for one loved it. What we're losing a star for is the "biting lip" "licking lip" of Leo, it made him seem a little sleazy rather then it being sexy. BUT that by all means does NOT take away from the story. The flirtatious witty banter between Leo and Sam is cute and helps create the feeling between them. Leo yeah he's an ar#*h*^e, but what boss in any story isn't haha. Sam, I love that she's "curvy" and a bottle red head. It makes her real and relatable. Will absolutely read other stories by Coco Cadence.

I was hooked from the start of this series. Read it in one sitting, sleep is for wussies! :) Samantha is sarcastic,witty, and owns her sexuality. Leo is....Leo, unapologetic, no holes barred snarky asshole, undeniably hot and he knows it. This book had me laughing, gasping, and fanning my self at the same time. Holy hotness......the sex was mind blowing and flammable, thus the fanning. Plus there is a D/s relationship thrown in as well. woo hoo!! There is also plenty of intrigue to go around as well. Now I am off to sate my craving for chocolate and Doritos. lol Read the series!!! Can't wait for Coco's next book. Lastly I was given this series in exchange for my honest review.

one of the shortest series i've ever read but i have to say i DID enjoy it. It was different. Normally its the girl that s chasing the guy well in this one its the guy or well CEO chasing the girl, assistant. She has a secret crush on him but she doesnt come fourth with it because shes this BMW who is afraid to admit it to him because she doesn't know what he thinks of her. Its sucha sweet book. he goes to all these extremes to catch her and make her fall in love with him but shes been there this whole time. Liike i said its such a sweet book ! Woudl love to read more about this couple thats for sure !

the author immediately pulls you into the book (loved how she did that) ! over all the triology is great. but I feel like she rushed thru it when she got to the end and thru some of the scenes later in the story. there's a situation in between Leo's sister and one of his brother that has me intrigued. (maybe we can get some more in his family in a later book ?!)

Not good at all. The whole story was just ridiculous and so predictable. Initially (first 5 pages) I thought I might like this...but I was so wrong. The only funny thing is how she is constantly threatening verbally and mentally with physical violence, but that got old after about the 50th time.

This series was an ok read.
It was fun and light hearted and somewhat steamy.
I actually really liked the story line and it was laced with quite a lot of humour but unfortunately,I didn't really connect with the characters and didn't feel any real emotional connection between them.

Good read
I really enjoyed reading this story. There is a lot of hot sex and a good storyline. Samantha is the assistant to Leo King. He is the boss who has made her working life hated. But things change when he demands her to be his pretend wife. So the story begins. Very light spanking and bondage. Recommend the series because there is a lot going on other than sex.

A very short series that I could get into and didnt realize I had finished it till I hit the last page. I was a little book dunk after I put it down but what a great read it was. It kept me on my toes with all its twists and turns that sometimes I didnt know if I was up or down. I cant wait to read more of Coco's work,

Got this as as arc for an honest review. And LOVED IT!!!!! Loved the love/hate relationship between Leo & Samantha. Holy hot cakes! Lol. Didn't much care for Leo in the beginning...but he has a way about him...lol. Will definitely be looking up her other books.
