"A COLLECTION OF THE FUNNIEST, CRAZIEST, WITTIEST, MOST MEMORABLE FRONT PAGES FROM THE NT NEWS.It isn't called the TOP END for nothing! With witty editing, masterful puns, searing social insight and - when all that fails - the use of the word 'clacker', the NT News has changed the face of the Australian front page. They're tops! And they don't need a thousand words - most of the time eight or less will do. I WAS MUGGED BY A CROCDOG KILLED BY YOWIEFROG STRUCK BY LIGHTNINGWHY I STUCK A CRACKER UP MY CLACKERNow, for the first time ever, the news team who came up with these attention-grabbing gems have ventured into the archives to share some of their favourite front pages with the world. Funny picture book of some of the many front pages of our local newspaper. However, I think this is just a tip of the iceberg ... I am sure there are many more that could have been included. This book seemed to tick the boxes for many of my shelves ... including paranormal, sci fi, romance (if it includes a beer can or croc), adventure and mostly weird (or unbelievable)! A good NT souvenir or present to send to someone elsewhere to show off (or warn) about the place we live in.

I rarely buy a paper these days, but I’ve got to say, if I lived in Darwin I’d get the NT News daily.

A fun book.

Pretty much you would expect from the NT News. 15 minutes of fun with a tiny bit of background.

For a compilation, it's funny but the same croc seems to star. Obvious tourist gift.

Bits of it are amusing, but you're probably better off flipping through it and putting it down again than actually reading the whole thing. Or just following @TheNTNews on Twitter. Definitely don't pay money for it.
