Only then will she uncover the terrifying secrets locked up in Shadow Mountain.

About the author

Aaron Pogue is a husband and a father of two who lives in Oklahoma City, OK. Aaron started writing at the age of ten. His first novels were high fantasy set in the rich world of the FirstKing, but he's explored mainstream thrillers, urban fantasy, and several kinds of science fiction. Author of the Dragonprince's Legacy, the Godlanders War, and the Ghost Targets series, Aaron Pogue has sold a quarter of a million books since his debut in 2010.

Aaron has been a Technical Writer with the Federal Aviation Administration and a writing professor at the university level. He holds a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Oklahoma. He also serves as the President of Draft2Digital, an ebook formatting, conversion, and distribution service that he helped found in 2012.

LOVED this one! I never thought I would be into this kind of thing, FBI chases, sci-fi gadgets of the future, tense stand-offs with the evil mastermind behind all the drama... it's fabulous! Aaron Pogue does such a fabulous job of drawing us into the middle of Katie's search for the next big bad guy. Honestly, she kind of drives me crazy because she is so guarded (I simply can not relate!) But, I think that is what makes her so intriguing. You know there is more to her story and you keep hoping she will come out better off than she went into this thing. I know I'll keep reading, because I want to see what happens next - especially between her and Reed! Keeping my fingers crossed on that one!

I've enjoyed the whole series, this book included. I think that of the first three, maybe this was the weakest, but it was still entertaining. As I got near the end, I couldn't put down the book and was just flipping pages like crazy trying to see how it would end. It is interesting to see how the author explores all of the ramifications of the world he created; I guess that's often the fun of sci-fi. Enjoyed the book. Looking forward to the next.

Another winner by Mr Pogue. Fast paced, but never felt overwhelmed. Cannot wait to start Book 4.
