Carrington's

What a great way to end this series. Hailey and Jerald were explosive in and out of the bed room. A.C. Definitely took the readers on a roller coaster. It was plenty of passion, suspense and humor from Malaya. Great book and ai love how she incorporates characters from other series.

OMG!!! The suspense was so intense! I was not expecting the mystery person to be who it ended up being. The Carrington series represents the first books I've read by A. C. Arthur. I am definitely a new fan and look forward to reading more of her books!

A wonderful romance suspense

Jerald and Hailey’s chemistry was off the charts from the beginning. I loved how the story played out with all the drama and suspense. Their love prevails in the end. Kudos on a well written novel A.C. Arthur.

When Hailey sat on that beach she had no idea the change that would come into her life and neither did Jerald. Great read.

Full of twists

This was a good story filled with twists and an ending I didn't see coming. It was also steamy from the first few pages. I loved it.

Having You is the 3rd installment in the Carrington Chronicles and it was a hit. Jerald Carrington is mesmerized by the site of Hailey Jefferson as he views her from his hotel room overlooking the beach. He believes the Corporation has sent her and not realizing, the one night stand leaves a lasting impression. Hailey has taken on a job that allow her to pay her college tuition and lift the financial burden from her grandparents. Her chance meeting with Jerald opens her eyes to love and also threats to her and her family.
Mrs. Arthur has done a great job with character development, content and flow of the story. Readers cannot help but love Jerald as he struggles with his attraction to Hailey and the draw of the Corporation and how he came to be a member. He realizes Hailey has the power to heal and understand him. Hailey’s character displays an independent woman who values family and wants to make her grandparents proud. When she embarks on the new job venture, she never expects to encounter the threats, or the strict rules enforced while employed. To add to this her growing feelings for Jerald are now forefront and she now must choose, love or work. The flow of the storyline was on point and the added mystery of “the One” makes for a quick page turner. Love the series and thoroughly enjoyed Jerald and Hailey’s journey to love.

Oh no....People from the Philippines speak Tagalog...and oy vey, plot holes.

This could have been a very enjoyable book but for that glaring mistake. And it's a major part of the book so it's crazy that it was so overlooked. I've been a long time follower of hers, so I put that aside and got completely into it. Her scenes with the two characters, per usual, were engaging and the pages were on fire. It was even fun to catch up with Tara and Jackson from Needing You (The Carrington Chronicles Book 2).

But then there was another glaring plot hole towards the end. **SPOILER ALERT**: Why were the kids home by themselves??? They would be in police custody without the parents. Ordinarily, with this genre, you allow the writer to have you in this sort of suspended reality and you follow along for the ride. But, man. There were some major editorial mistakes here.

Character Development: 1 (out of 5)
Engaging: 3
Plausibility: 1
Pace: 4
Sexual Encounters: NC-17 (for one scene in particular)

Great ending to the Carrington Chronicles. Hailey and Jerald had that Teena & Rick fire and desire. No matter how much she fought the attraction between them she just couldn't stay away. Jerald's quirkiness was a turn but his tragedy made you want to reach out and hold him. It was good to catch up on old characters but I wish there was more books to come in this series. Good job Mrs. Arthur, I'm looking forward to your next book.
