The last thing Sloan sees is Aaron Hunter going over the falls. Unable to help him, she races to get his brother, Ray, to the hospital in time. The paramedics come. They take Ray away, but a monster storm with heavy rains and flash flooding keep help from searching for Aaron. Four days later, the town may have given up on Aaron, but Sloan hasn't. She is determined to go find him no matter what, even if she has to lug a wounded Ray along with her.
Aaron Hunter wakes up unable to walk in a cabin next to the creek. He knows he has to get out of the cabin soon, though, because the creek water is rising and before long it will be inside the fishing cabin. Time is running out and the only person who can help him is the person he hates the most-- Boyd Lawrence-- the boy who threw him over the falls; the boy who shot his brother; the boy who destroyed Sloan's life. The one person Aaron wants to hurt more than anyone else in this world becomes his only way home.
Some will live. Some will die. The dramatic conclusion to the best selling Saint Sloan Series.
Kelly Martin is an author and developmental editor who lives in a possibly haunted house in a small southern town. While she'd like to say paranormal things only happen to her at her home, it would be a lie, mainly because she searches them out in some of America's most haunted locations. Whether it is talking to the ghosts of Waverly Hills or the spirits of Thomas House Hotel, these events inevitably land in some of Kelly's books. Just wait until you read The Haunting of Micah Reed.
Wow Kelly Martin has done it again. The third and final book in the Saint Sloan Series is a rollercoaster ride of emotion.
Be warned this book has a lot of feels - I did cry once or twice while reading this book
The book opens in the aftermath of the shooting at the Falls with Ray heading to hospital and both Ray and Boyd missing. A massive storm then hampers efforts to find the two boys - they survived going over the falls but didn't come away without suffering injury. Can two enemies help each other and live long enough to find help. Ray and Sloan head out in the storm with unforeseen consequences. Not everyone makes it out alive.
To find out who read the thrill final chapter of this amazing series
Kelly Martin is one of my favourite Authors - I can't wait to see what new adventures she takes us on
