Hooked
Thirty-eight-year-old legal secretary Olivia Wright’s clock is ticking and she’s afraid she’s running out of time to find Master Right. A riveting read, enjoyable and full of action and intrigue I guarantee like me you’ll be captivated by
This is an interesting read that I guarantee you like me will be totally blown away by, the characters are well written and the plot held my attention from start to finish and I guarantee that you will simply love every moment of this book.
Club Decadence is used to seeing its own fair share of changes in members and when Olivia Wright shows up by herself it comes as something of a surprise, when she earns herself a punishment it is given by Master J one of the club Dom’s which is what the Submissives expect.
Olivia has worked for James for several years and during this time has come to admit to herself that she has fallen in love with him. However, it has been a very long-time sine she actually had a Dom/sub relationship, in fact not since she was dumped several years ago.
She has received a special invite to attend Club Decadence and is hoping that she might actually make a connection with one of the club Dom’s but she would never of expected to come across James there and he is equally as surprised as he’d no idea that she was not in fact only interested in vanilla relationships.
When she sees him at the cub she is taken by surprise and for some reason faints, this is an interesting read and if full of surprises I guarantee that you will enjoy this book.

Unlike the rest of the Club Decadence books, Hooked is a love story pure and simple. True there's a bit of drama but in essence it's about a relationship three years in the making. Two people who are boss and subordinate have kept their attraction for one another to themselves. All that changes when she, Olivia Wright, shows up at the Club alone. Master J, Joseph Hooks, homes in on her like a heat seeking missle. Once they get past the punishment she's most assuredly earned (for a variety of reasons) it's readily apparent they are the perfect match. He fulfills every one of her submissive fantasies and she's everything he's ever want in a submissive.

What a great off shoot from the Club Decadence series and a joy to read in this sweet and steamy workplace romance as Livia who has had a crush on her boss Joseph ever since she started working for him only to try and run away from him at the Club to being caught brings their relationship forward to a new path but with trust and self esteem issue rising from a past abusive relationship in Livia’s past is highlighted and handled by the Rossi/Decadence Doms..
I loved reading this and even without the thrill and suspense of the last books I defiantly loved going back to the characters of Decadence….

So many things I liked about this book. Livvy and her daydreams about Joseph for one. The fact that Joseph was a non-military dom, yet absolutely still a dom. I liked that his "dom" radar was off for a while. I did appreciate that there wasn't a ton of angst in this book.
I also liked Livvy's encounter with Vaughn, and really enjoyed Vaughn's encounter with the owners and members of Club Decadence.
It was nice being able to revisit the characters from the Club Decadence series. A good start to a new series.

There are some BDSM themed sex scenes and there is some swearing.
The characterisation is good, although I struggled to obtain a connection with either lead character, mostly I think because they felt a bit forced, and I couldn't raise much empathy for them.
The plotline is okay, the usual for the genre.
I have no problem recommending the book to fans of the genre.
There are some errors that irritated, mixed tense and missing/incorrect words etc.

Although this is the latest book in the Club Decadence series and does contain characters from those previous books, this story is completely standalone with it's own HEA. I really enjoy reading of characters who have flaws, who aren't the perfect romance book hero or heroine. This book gives us both. A delightfully nerdy alpha, and a curvaceous but insecure sub. This couple complemented each other so well it was wonderful. There was great interaction between the characters and I loved how Joseph stood up for Olivia, providing a welcome bit of drama to the story.

Olivia loved and lost, due to wrong man/wrong time. From abuse came vulnerabilities and trust issues. Joseph proved you can't judge a book by its cover...missing what's right under your nose. You can feel what they want, see it in there words. This made want it all in spades, or is or only in books. Definitely a must read!.

You would think that with seven books that this series would start to lose its shine but it definitely has not. Ths characters and scenes get better with each book. I loved sweet hurt Olivia and protective dominant Joseph. I very much enjoyed their interactions. There are lots in this story to hold the readers interest. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. This is a very enjoyable page-turner.

What a lovely story. Two people working together so closely and so enamoured of each other but never acting on it, then a thunderstorm brings them together and the rest as they say is history. It is such a hot story and so much fun to read and to see all the Cub Decadence gang. Great book.

Olivia has been Joseph’s legal secretary for a long time and has had some pretty intense fantasies about him. He has always been a gentleman, so she never thought that beneath his neatly pressed business suit and Harry Potter glasses was the Dom of her dreams. Joseph never knew his sexy secretary was a sub when he saw her at a BDSM club a few hours away from their hometown. Their chance meeting at the club instantly sets off fireworks between the two and they have a wild night of passion together.
I really enjoyed the pairing of Livvy and Joseph. Their relationship was not forced nor did it seems silly. LIvvy has always submitted to him in the workplace and Mr. Domineering Lawyer has had his eye on her curvy figure since she started working for him. Yes, they both have some issues to work though, but their paring works in a sensual way that makes me want them together. Having never read anything by this author (and finding out that this is a spin off series of another one of her series) I am going to have to read some of her other books because this one was so good!

Another fabulous addition to a terrific series. This author should be an "automatic buy". Both characters are likeable, the emotions are genuine and there are no silly contrived situations. I loved Joseph's character and he and Olivia were very good together. I also liked that fact that he was tall slim (but strong) and wore tweed and "Harry Potter" glasses. Joseph and Olivia worked together but their D/S relationship only developed after a coincidental meeting at a club a couple hours drive away from the office. The relationship developed quickly but they had worked together for the previous 3 years so they knew each other quite well. They worked through some of Olivia's insecurities and fell in love.

This was a story of Oliva and Joseph who have worked together for three years and neither
is aware that the other is into the BDSM scene. Lizzy is a submissive with a horrible past with
an abusive Dom. Joseph is a lawyer who has been attracted to Lizzy, but is afraid of Sexual
harassment claims.
I really liked the contrast between the two Doms. Joseph is caring and loving while Vance is
abusive, hurting with his words and actions. The story is BDSM mild though. Although you
have several graphic sexual scenes, you have role play, and spankings, but not excessive
punishments. I really enjoyed this story. It has a happy ending.

An incredible beginning to a new series!
I adore the 'Club Decadence' series and devoured each book the day it was released. I am thrilled to discover that my feelings are going to be the same for this new series, 'Decadence Nights'. Joseph and Olivia made for the perfect couple once they became aware of each other. And that's all I am going to say, no spoilers here, but make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy in case your Kindle starts smoking. Quit reading here and buy the book already, seriously!

Second impression: when I adjusted to the author's style, I couldn't stop reading the series. And I reread this book this August when I was in my laws. So, now I loooove it and even have a printed copy (what a strange turn of events!)
First impression: For my taste, it's 2.5 stars. I liked the plot, HEA, and characters. But there are at least two plot contradictions - the age of the main character and how she met Emma.

When everything you've ever wanted is right there in front of your face...this is a story that makes you open your eyes to the endless possibilities all around you. As an extra bonus (for me, at least)was getting to go back to the club to visit old friends, even if it was from a different perspective. I can't wait for the bittersweet ending today when I begin "What about Love".

This is such a lovely story. The story kept me entertained all the way. The characters are well created and very engaging. Their scenes are hot and super sexy.
