This book was pretty good, but it moves at a pretty rapid pace as far as their guild leveling goes. It's only a 315 page book, and yet the MC and first LI have already gone from bronze to iron, and then to steel at the end. This despite hearing that many adventurers take years to make it out of bronze, much less out of iron.
The MC is a guy from Earth that has a responsibility to the server room and tech stuff, and after having to stick around late, gets knifed while trying to help a woman being mugged. Isekai time! He meets a goddess, who asks him 6 questions (much like some of the Might and Magic games) and he gets his "class", which is basically a fighter that can taunt, and the ability to bond people. And the closer the bonds get, the better the benefits, and the lesser the adverse effects. He's bonded two by the end of the book, though only one is a lover.
The first LI is just ok, and the sex scene is fairly bland. The second LI is waiting in the wings as a party member and freed slave. The mechanism of her no longer being a slave felt forced by the author.
There was a run on sentence or two, and some math problems in the book, but otherwise, it was pretty clean for a first time author. I'd read a sequel to this, though it would be down the TBR pile for a while.
