Scarlett never imagined that she would be famous from her YouTube channel, but to be popular enough that a rival decides to cuff her to someone else as part of a publicity stunt? Ludicrous! Most unexpected of all is her attraction to the man she’s chained to—fellow YouTuber, Jackson.
Jackson has always thought Scarlett was an attractive woman, only he never thought she felt the same about him. So when he realizes she isn’t totally against being cuffed to him, Jackson decides to take advantage of the situation and see just how far he can push her limits.
It turns out that handcuffs are the best kind of torture.
An inveterate traveller, Kait has set foot on three continents and has the other four on her bucket list (yes, even Antarctica). Until she can see them all, she writes romances that take readers to far flung locales, often to places she’s been or hopes to one day go. For now, she’s settled in England where she spends most of her time plotting, scribbling ideas on every available scrap of paper and trying out dialogue on her cat.
This book reminded me of that one fateful day in College when my best friend chased me around the campus just so she could put a handcuff on my wrist and on my long-time crush, Ron. Yep, this was definitely the best prank she ever did to me and I didn't complain at all because -- why wouldn't I want to be held captive with the guy I was secretly crushing on? For two hours. And then got "fake" married and be kissed afterwards? Oh gosh, I was beet red all over when we were cuffed together and I think my heart somersaulted with joy.
In Kait Gamble's CUFFED, the setting was like in Comic-Con, with people wearing cool outfits/costumes and panelists sharing their thoughts and ideas and pieces of advice, this time, for fellow and aspiring YouTubers.
Scarlett attended her first con, not as an audience but as a gamer/panelist. Jackson, her fellow YouTuber and constant critic was also there, donned in a tuxedo, at hat and a mask. Yep, he was no other than Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon and a lot of fans surrounded him, much to the chagrin of another panelist/prankster, Rex. Known for his wild antics and inconceivable pranks, Rex did something to Scarlett & Jackson. Something the two warring gamers would never forget.
CUFFED is a short but exciting & super hot read. While I had a great time getting to know Scarlett and Jackson, it was their moment alone together that had my breath hitched and my heart stopped from beating. Damn, these two could shake up an entire building, even with handcuffs. Kait Gamble surely has captivated me with her book!
Cuffed is a quick read that pushes all those buttons-yes those buttons! Scarlett is attending a Comic-con as a You Tube panelist sharing ideas and advice for people wanting to set up their own You Tube channel. When she notices fellow You Tuber, Jackson dressed in a Sailor Moon tux costume, her heart skips a beat! They've had a rocky past but when did he get so attractive?? And look at all those girls hanging around him. Why does she feel jealous?? When another panelist, Rex is unhappy with all of their attention, he takes matters into his hands and pulls a prank on Scarlett and Jackson. One they will never forget!!
I have read many books by Kait Gamble and have never been disappointed. All are short, interesting, and spicy reads that are written well and to the point! Kait does a great job of creating characters that are real and endearing. The spiciness had me zipping through this one! It's just what the doctor ordered!

You know those pranks pulled on you by friends and rivals alike that end up to be a good thing? This book is a good example. It's a good, short read that I finished in no time. But I thoroughly enjoyed it despite the story being short. I loved the steaminess, the chemistry, the pacing, and even the fact that I got a good chunk of a story without having to spend so many hours with it.
I've read from Kait Gamble before, and I really like her books because her characters are never interchangeable. They all have that distinct characteristic that sets them apart from other characters that the author has written. Her straight to the point contemporary romances are sexy, unique, and definitely entertaining.
Not enough story. The whole time that the couple are in handcuffs, getting busy. The author chose to keep a lot of their actions simple, disregarding that they were in cuffs through a lot of their romp. Then, short into round 2, the author finishes the story. I call that poor skill on author's part.
What happens when you are handcuffed to a sexy YouTube rival as a publicity stunt for another YouTuber’s channel? This book is what happens! Scarlett is a popular YouTuber with a gaming channel. Jackson liked to trade barbs with the attractive Scarlett, but never really meant them to be cruel. While attending Comic Con, they both team up to keep away from their biggest rival. What happens is they are handcuffed together before an important Q&A panel that they are all on. Things get very steamy and they learn that they both like each other much more than each original thought.
While this is a short little story, Kait Gamble packs a full amount of detail into as little works as possible. This isn’t the first book I have read by this author and I don’t think it will be the last because of how much I enjoy her writing.

Kait Gamble's Cuffed was sizzling hot fun wrapped in a pretty little package. It was definitely one of those short stories that I would give anything for it to be longer. I loved the instant chemistry between Jackson and Scarlett. From the moment they're together, it ignites. I loved everything about Cuffed, but I think it would have rocked as a novella with flashbacks to their foreplay disguised as arguments. Cuffed was just a super fun and quick short story that made me giggle and search for a fan. I'd like to think of Cuffed as an amuse bouche. Now that I've had a taste of Kait's writing style, I want to pick up more of her books. Sexy times ahead!
