Je ne connaissais pas la poésie d’Anne Hébert, et je dois dire que j’ai eu de la difficulté à être touché par les mots et le style de l’autrice, malgré la qualité évidente de son art. Peut-être en aurai-je une autre lecture lorsque je relierai ce recueil, dans quelques mois ou années.

I enjoyed poems from The Tomb of Kings and particularly from The Mystery of the Word. They are obscure, but reading a set seemed to shed some light on themes. The uncollected poems felt a bit lost though.

Étant un grand fan de jeux-de-mots, il m'arrive de lire des poèmes pour découvrir de belles images. Mais ici, les images sont tellement subtile que je n'arrive à peine qu'à les supposer. En fait, je ne la comprend pas assez bien pour l'apprécier à sa juste valeur.
