Holy hot and heavenly book! Go hurry, dial up, and devour this book-a-licious Bootycall right now! JD Hawkins' second series with a title alone that's panty-melting-hot like the book, Bootycall, is another mesmerizing and memorable masterpiece. Bootycall is a 'must read' brilliant book of pure pleasure and perfection that sucks you in from the very first page with writing that is witty and wonderful, and a story that's sexy, steamy, and suspenseful.

Like Insatiable, my initial thought was this book is going to be a super sexy read about scoring babes via booty calls. This book is indeed super sexy and contains a booty call, but again, JD Hawkins proved me wrong: Bootycall is so much more. Yes, it brings the heat, but it also brings the humor, angst, and those fabulous feels you want and need when devouring a delicious book like this one. I was blown away realizing that this book is less about a Manwhore scoring babes and booty, and more about a beautiful but conflicted man realizing his self-worth, learning to rely on and trust others, and trying to leave the past behind and build a better future.

Hot, tall, muscular, and Irish actor, Dylan Marlowe, is done with acting and people who don't really care about him running his life. Time to do what he wants when he wants. What he wants is lots of hot sex--Manwhores 'R Us. He meets beautiful and brilliant but slightly bashful woman, who does not even reveal her name, via a Bootcall app for one night of pure pleasure. Pleasure is what party boy delivered and more. Her first one-night stand was the best sexual ride of her life.

"I moan again, deep and slow, my whole body vibrating with the pleasure of his fingers exploring me slowly, patiently, ever more deeply. I can't believe I thought this might be a mistake. This is no mistake. It's a f**king revelation...He clutches and kneads my a*s cheeks, holding me firm while I buck and roll against the waves of excitement he's licking into me. I grab and tear at my dress in a frenzy, unable to control myself. My body isn't mine anymore, it's his, and in return, he's making me walk on air. This must be what dying and going to heaven feels like."

Dylan is soon forced to clean up his playboy partying self for the movie role of a lifetime that will make him the comeback kid. There is only one condition for the role: he must have basically a babysitter. What a shocker when the adult sent to watch him like a hawk is his beautiful booty call babe from the other night--not his usual 'bang 'em and bolt' babes either.

"It's her. The girl from last night. The girl who said it 'wasn't the kind of thing she did,' right before she did it better than most women. The girl who left her panties on my roof. The girl I was considering hiring a private detective to find so I could have a repeat performance."

Gemma Clarke is not only the mystery woman who gave him Dylan a scorching night in the sack, but she challenged his mind like no other woman has during one of the best nights of his life. How is Dylan going to focus on work when his banging and brilliant booty call is now his babysitter?!?

Dylan and Gemma's one night of bliss was scorching hot--so much so that work is going to be hard...and sweaty...and swoon-able. Gemma may have her hands full while trying to keep her panties dry and their relationship strictly professional if Dylan has his way with her and the situation.

Bootcall is pure addiction. I'm still nursing a book hangover from this raw and riveting read, and can't wait for book two!

JD Hawkins is back and has knocked it out of the park with Bootycall. This 5 star start to a new series will stimulate your senses, keep you guessing and leave you breathless.

Dylan Marlowe is an irresistible Hollywood bad-boy who decided to use the “Bootycall” app for some nighttime fun. Gemma is a newly single woman down on her luck. Deciding to lose herself in something thrilling, or at least think she can, she answers a Bootycall. Neither one of them are ready for what they find when Gemma shows up on Dylan’s doorstep. Gemma isn’t like all of the star-stalkers and doesn’t buy into the God-like persona that the world gives to movie stars. She calls Dylan on his sh** and what a breath of fresh air that is.

A one night stand always has something strange in the morning, right? Well, Gemma and Dylan’s morning after really takes the cake. But I will stop there. Yes, I am leaving you hanging because you WANT to experience this story in its full glory.

From the storyline to the sex scenes, JD gives us a fresh take on erotic romance. There is a depth to the storyline that you may not expect from first glance. It’s angsty, provocative and absolutely delicious. I am eagerly and impatiently waiting part 2.

4 ~ 4.5 ‘BE MY BOOTYCALL’ STARS

Bootycall Part 1 is a sexy funny romance (not erotic romance), the story is well structured, with charming characters and the author has a very natural fluid writing style.

Dylan’s acting status used to be at the top A-list. His career has unfortunately spiraled out of control because of excessive drinking and partying. He’s wealthy, sexy, harsh and arrogant, he has too many wild nights out and he sleeps around. One night, looking for something different and exciting, he makes use of a bootycall app which seems ideal for no-strings-attached romance. When he plans a meet-up with a sexy, down to earth and a little bit hesitant woman who is recovering from a break-up, their remarkable one-night stand sets his satin sheets on fire.

 photo tumblr_ncgwpr1w4N1teug0xo5_500_zps1bmvs5sw.gif

Gemma is pretty wonderful. She works in the Finance department for a film company but she is assigned to ‘babysit’ a rebellious actor with behavioral problems in order to keep him in line during filming. When Dylan accepts the lead role in an important movie that could boost his acting credibility, he’s obliged to bear with a ‘personal assistant’ whose job is to keep an eye on him. And surprise, surprise! That woman is Gemma…his booty call!

 photo serena-phone-girl-blonde-obsessed-social-media-gif-2 1_zps2o8jiaeo.gif

"And to think, I nearly turned down this movie when they told me somebody would follow me. If I'd known it was gonna be you, I'd have even taken a pay cut." - Dylan

Will Gemma manage to follow through? Will Dylan become the dependable guy again? And can a booty call ever blossom?

Since it is such a short story, the relationships themselves aren't explored very deeply, which would have been nice. But it's still a fun read nonetheless. Also, I’d like more intense emotions and steamy moments because these would make me totally feel the attraction between Dylan and Gemma.

The author has written a witty, fun, sexy and thoroughly enjoyable book to read. It has a unique storyline with a touch of drama and angst, it is light, easy and amusing and it has salty and sharp dialogues. Mr. Hawkins’ writing style is simple, humorous and emotive. The main character, Dylan, had me falling in love with his quirky personality from the beginning. I could picture and relate to Gemma on many levels, yet I admired her ability to “keep moving” even when things were going so terribly wrong for her. This book is funny and swift-paced but also manages to be serious and moving.

Both characters sucked me in and I was hooked. It is definitely worth taking the time to read! I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next part.

First things first: I could not get the thought of Gerard Butler out of my head while reading this delicious little book. I swear, he was everywhere and when you get an image of that sexy Irishman, ingrained in your brain, the main character roars to life and you know you're in for a good time.

I'll admit, when I started Bootycall I was expecting an all out smutfest. I don't know if it was the title, or that I assumed I was reading erotica--who freaking knows--but it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, it's sizzling, but it's got a plot. A really, really, really great plot.

JD Hawkins is a fantastic writer. I loved the flow, the pace, the way his characters were described. He has a very vivid way of writing. You feel his words and his characters mannerisms are almost visceral. It's fab. I LOVED it.

In Bootycall, Dylan Marlowe is an actor going through a tough time. He has that "I don't give a flying fudge" attitude and with that outlook on life, he's TROUBLE with a capital T. He does what he wants, when he wants it, and he doesn't give a shit about the consequences or who he takes down in the process. In Hollywood, he's become a "has been" of sorts, mostly because he's unreliable. As the known bad boy, people don't trust him.

One night he's looking for something different, something a little more enticing than his usual conquest. Having used the Bootycall app before, he decides to give it a go and gets ahold of a really intriguing female.

Gemma, the woman who picks up the call, is a sweet girl, coming off a bad break up. She's looking for a good time, something to spice up her suddenly off kilter life. Answering Dylan's call is something out of the norm for her.

Once they both get talking, one thing leads to another.
They decide to meet.
AND that's when it gets HAWT. HAWT. HAWT.

The plot takes off with a running leap and turns into a mouth watering journey between these two. After their one night, Gemma and Dylan's life becomes entangled in the most fantastic way.

What I enjoyed most about this novel was the way the plot unfolded. There was no insta love but definitely insta lust. It was realistic. I liked that Dylan kept (for the most part) his asshole ways. He was fighting his demons and one look from Gemma didn't "change him." I believed his struggle and I felt his almost hopeless attitude toward life. He's hiding something. What? I don't know yet, but I have a feeling all his dickishness will be explained in Part Two. And I cannot wait.

Gemma is easy to love. With her bright spirit, she's the perfect girl to wrangle Dylan. She's feisty when she needs to be and submissive at the times she should be. I really enjoyed her and I could see that she cares about this man who's been thrust in her life.

Overall, I LOVED this story and I can't wait to see where it goes. Behind the sizzle and steam there's an addicting plot that left me wanting more. The dynamic between the two main characters is explosive and I'm dying to know how Gemma can tame a wild - crazy - hell bent on being naughty - Dylan Marlowe.

You can be sure with J.D's books that you 're gonna have a good time. Make yourself comfortable, take something to drink, relax and start reading one of his book, you won't be disappointed

description

After Insatiable and Insatiable I was expecting J.D Hawkins' new book like Christmas time. His writing is entertaining, captivating, funny and I was very curious to see how he could step up his game with a new book. Let me tell you I WAS NOT disappointed
In Bootycall, all the good ingredients are once more gather to make it one enjoyable read.

Dylan is a complex movie star in search of his new challenge. Nothing seems to catch his attention. But he definitely brings to many attention and not in the right way. People see a side of him but do they really know him?
Even with the opportunity of being the lead actor for a new movie, Dylan can't stop himself and being what he is best: an asshole.

Gemma works in finance but she found herself in one delicate position. She has to become "Dylan's babysitter"
And when you know these two are not really strangers ... the fun has only begun

description

I loved Gemma and how she reacts to Dylan. First they chemistry is HOT, then she seems to see through him and what he represents. She pushes his every button and he's certainly not pleased.

Dylan doesn't change on a whim because he has something going on with her. It felt more real. They are no insta-love and it's kinda refreshing for once.
Dylan has issues and I want to know more about him. I want to know all his secrets. I'm expecting a more emotional second part. I want to see Dylan fall hard. I want him to stop protecting himself.

Another sexy, funny, highly entertaining read from JD Hawkins! He takes us inside the ugly truth of Hollywood where people are nothing but dollar signs and relationships are hardly ever real.

On the outside Dylan is on top of the world, getting a huge comeback movie part, all the women and parties he could ever want. The true Dylan on the inside is lonely and afraid of failure, he uses his reputation to cover all that up. The one person who sees through his charade is Gemma, his one time Bootycall app hook up and now his personal babysitter while filming. He's conflicted over liking her transparency, which is unheard of in his business, and feeling like she's trying to control and manipulate him for the studio.

Both of their careers are in jeopardy if they can't work together, but Dylan isn't exactly making it easy for her. Things aren't looking hopeful for either their careers or their friendship (relationship, whatever it is that's going on between them) at the end and we're left wondering if Gemma will able to save Dylan from himself or if he's going to succeed in destroying not only both of their careers but his whole self in the process.

I can't wait to see how Gemma tries to whip him into shape next! She's a strong willed woman and can hold her own against Dylan's charming distracting ways.

JD Hawkins knows how to give it. And he gives it good!! This book is filled with hotness, sexiness, and a whole lotta angst! Which is my absolute favorite thing in a book. The back and forth. The cat and mouse game. I absolutely love it!

We have Dylan Marlowe. He’s one of the hottest movie stars right now. Who’s in a little bit of a slump. Professionally. And I guess you can say, physically. Dylan is bored and restless. Tired of the same thing. He’s looking for something different. No strings. One night. A bootycall.

Let’s meet Gemma Clarke. She’s just broken up with her boyfriend. Who cheated on her with her best friend. This also means she’s out of a place to live. Life pretty much sucks for her right now. She’s at an all time low. She’s looking for something in the NOW! She’s feeling a little reckless, wild, and maybe even a little vengeful. Gemma is basically looking for a bootycall! And due to all the great conveniences of modern technology these days, she decides to use an app to do just this! What she doesn’t realize, is that she is getting Dylan on the other end.

Now I can go into details on what happens, or if they hook up, or fall in love and live happily ever after. But I’m not. It would be too spoilery. And you know that I don’t do that. So what I will tell you my favorite highlights.

First and foremost, the sexy times. Ok, I have read many of books. Lots of different sex scenes and positions, and props used, and even an animal once. We won’t talk about that though. I’m still seeking counseling after that. Moving on to what I’m trying to say here, is that it’s rare that I read something and am completely floored. There is one particular scene, which I literally didn’t know what to do with myself. It was so hot...so erotic. So different. I freaking LOVED IT!! Dylan Marlowe is a very resourceful man. And Gemma was one lucky lady!! I loved the sexual buildup of these two. It was just as hot as when Dylan did fuck her! Cause oh yeah, she definitely got fucked. In more ways than one.

Which brings me to my next part. Dylan is a very sexy man. Charming and oh so swoon worthy. But he is also an asshole. And god knows I have a weak spot for them assholes! A couple of times I literally wanted to crawl through my phone and throat punch him. And I am normally not a violent person. So yeah, he pissed me off. But Gemma, god I love her! She might come off as shy and soft spoken. But oh no!! She is probably the only person that doesn’t deal with Dylan’s episodes. She calls him out on his bullshit each and every time and tries to not let him get it away with it. It’s apparent that he has some inner demons. Something is going on. Usually by the end, I can figure out what’s going to happen. What the big secret will be. But I am completely stumped on this one!! And that makes me antsy. All I know is that he better have a damn good excuse! Or some really tragic past to excuse him. Even through all his assholery ways, I still fell for him. He can be very sweet and funny. And I keep thinking back to that one scene…and then all is forgiven! Yes, I am easy to please!

I’d like to say that I love watching JD grow as an author. With his first book, Insatiable, I knew he had something special. JD’s writing is fresh. Different. It’s witty and clever and oh so fucking hot!! It leaves you wanting more. I’m excited for his future and for all the things to come his way!!

Oh me, oh my O! Where do I start? A bootycall app is the premise for this book...

**Note to JD: Please share with us if this is REAL. From, lonely and wondering women everywhere! **

Now, back to my review. I’ve come to love JD’s style, wit and ability to keep me confined to my bed from start to finish when I open one of his books. When Gemma and Dylan start chatting via the app, neither of them plans for more than one night. Then Dylan gets the phone call that can change his life…a second chance.

In order to get that chance he is saddled with a babysitter of sorts. One that looks like and smells like Gemma. Dylan’s douchebaggery comes out in full force and even he can’t change despite his wanting to…

JD writes sex that makes my Kindle smoke and I’m currently waiting for my new one to come in…should I just buy throw-aways until this series is done?! :) Way to go! I’m ready for Round Two! ~ Heather, 4.5 stars

~~~
A cocky Irish actor, a demure woman and a night of explosive sex are just the beginning of one hot read.
Dylan, the cocky Irishman actor, is looking for a little fun and uses his Bootycall app. What he doesn’t expect is the first person who answers the phone. The second call seems to go a lot better, and soon he will either be blowing off steam with some naked mambo or working one out by himself.
Gemma is just out of a badly-ending relationship and the stars seem to be aligning when her app alerts her to an incoming call. When just the voice on the other end makes her wet, she knows she needs to take the chance and dive right in.
Fast forward a bit, throw in some fate, a little ill timing and a really fast motorcycle, and JD sets us up for a fantastic journey. Now, if he would just stop pushing us over cliffs and seeing if we can handle the fall, I think we would all appreciate it. But, since that won’t happen, at least he softens the blow by not making us wait too long… ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars
~~~

Hollywood royalty meets Hollywood babysitter. Let the sparks fly!

Dylan Marlowe is “this close” to being a Hollywood Has-Been. Given a chance to make a comeback, Dylan has been assigned a “handler” by the studio, Gemma Clarke. Someone who’s supposed to monitor his whereabouts during filming, keep him in line and out of trouble. But wherever Dylan goes, trouble follows—or he seeks it out, testing the will of Gemma.

The sexual chemistry between Dylan and Gemma is off the charts H.O.T. But how does this translate to a business relationship? The tension between Dylan and Gemma can be cut with a knife—he wants her again and again, and Gemma’s trying to keep a line between personal and professional, but isn’t having much success.

Oh, JD, you had to end it on a god damn cliffy didn’t you? I WANT MORE NOW!! I loved the cat and mouse relationship between Dylan and Gemma. I’m kinda seeing a cross between badboy Gerard Butler and sexy Jamie Dornan for Dylan…swoon…

I can’t wait to see how Dylan acclimates himself to the shooting schedule and see how Gemma does keeping him in check—she certainly has her hands full. So, c’mon JD, when’s the next part??? ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

Famous actor who is not so famous anymore because he is too much of a "child".. can't grow up and get serious.. uses a booty-call app. The girl who responds to man "child" actor comes over the same night and has sex with him.

Ok, Craigslist killer anyone? Seriously. You use a booty-call app and drive to his house.. he could be a psycho..which bring me to my next point.

Man "child" is a fallen actor who can't grow up, has several personalities, yada yada yad.

Next week he is asked to do a huge film, which is his big come back however he needs to be babysat during the shooting and all.. guess who the sitter is? His one night stand girl.

Yawwn!

Wow!! JD Hawkins' unique writing style draws me in every time. His writing is like a fine piece of art meant to be hung in a museum.

With each swipe of your ereader you become the characters; seeing and feeling what they are experiencing. His use of similes to describe various aspects of his story is refreshing and helps you to visualize the scene that you are currently reading.

Dylan and Gemma are realistic characters that have an awesome chemistry, which makes Bootycall a fascinating read. I got the impression that Dylan is dealing with some hidden demons so I am looking forward to book two and discovering what happened in his past.

Everything happens for a reason and I believe that Gemma entered Dylan's life for a reason; not just for a booty call. Perhaps Gemma will be the one to save Dylan from the past he hasn't yet dealt with.

I highly recommend Bootycall!! Can't wait for book two!!

I will never look at a greasy pancake the same way after having read Bootycall. Don’t know what that means? Neither did I until I read it. I have to hand it to JD ~ he took the concept of a Bootycall and turned it into a plot filled, hot sex, fabulous read! The book opens up with Dylan Marlowe trying to hook up via a “bootycall” ap. Does this really exist? I have no clue but if it doesn’t someone needs to get on that asap! Anywho… I loved that this book started off with being all about an anonymous hookup. There was no love at first sight, just an out of work actor, who is almost to the point of being a has-been, looking for a little company for the evening.

The sex in Bootycall was fucking hot and made the book scorch - but the plot was what really drove this book along. Dylan was surprisingly vulnerable on the inside - and I loved that his character was so.. lost. He’s a bad boy and obviously is tormented by something that happened in his past… I’m dying to know what that turns out to be. I want more of Dylan’s backstory - what made him self-destruct? He obviously craves some normalcy but still wants to prove himself to the public - that he’s not a total fuck up. When he gets a chance to work with an amazing director on a movie that’s sure to be a hit and put him back on top, he’s side-swiped with having to agree to having a “handler” throughout the movie. When this turns out to be his bootycall from the previous night, the sexual chemistry mixed with Dylan’s struggles really set this book apart for me. I loved that we got so much intensity on so many levels.

Gemma is Dylans bootycall and handler. I thought she was awesome - I loved her personality - a little bit shy, a little bit vixen, a whole lot of attempting to whip Dylan into shape. She doesn’t hold back her opinions of Dylan’s behaviour and confronts Dylan - you can imagine how that goes. Despite his bad boy antics - and yes, at one point Dylan really pulls some douchey moves, she finds herself falling for him. I get it, he’s hot, but he’s also got something just under the surface that calls to Gemma, makes her want to help him.

In true JD fashion I want to beat him over the head with my kindle for leaving me with a cliffy. I need more. I have questions. I want more dirty Dylan sex. But most of all I want to see how Dylan comes back from struggles… if he can make this work. Kudos to JD for writing a sexy, smut filled book that gives just as much plot as it does hotness. 5 stars

The story was so intriguing. I was hooked from the beginning. And it was a very quick reading. It only has 10 chapters. What do we call this kind of book? Novella?

But although I did enjoy this, of course there were things I didn't like.

Dylan was a hot hero, but he was SO CHILDISH! I didn't like his behaviour. I know he was a Hollywood super star but seriously he was so annoying, stubborn, and immature!
description

That's why I only gave this 3.5 stars. Because I didn't really like the hero.
I liked the heroine just fine though.

And what I didn't like most about this book was... the cliffhanger!! ARGHHHH!!

2,5 stars!

This book has been in my kindle for ages but never had the opportunity to read it until today.

I love J. D. Hawkins books a lot. The characters and the storylines are always intriguing, hot and steamy as hell, but this book wasn't my cup of tea.

I hated the heroine's dampness and stupidity. How could she trust him again after abandoning her in nowhere?! Swear I nearly blew my mind when she forgave him. Ughhhhhhh!!!!!

Don't get me start on Dylon because he wasn't the alpha hero who would melt your panties. He was a mean, childish, selfish SOB who I despised.
So, yeah. This wasn't at all one my J. D. Hawkins favourites.

Another hilarious and hot read from JD Hawkins, I need more!! Maybe it's because it truly is a male POV that makes his books so insightful that you can really relate to his male characters, they come to life on paper. I loved Dylan but he seriously needs help. I can't wait to see where this story goes. (full review to come)

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This may be the hardest review I've ever had to write.

First let me say that Hawkins continues to thrive as a writer. His follow up to the Insatiable Series does not disappoint. What I’m now considering his trademarks: beautiful LA scenery, arrogant male leads and girl next door female leads, are all accounted for.

The sexual chemistry is off the charts and believe me when I say this book starts off with a bang. You’ll never look at golf the same, trust me, I’m not.

That’s when what you’re expecting ends.

Dylan.
This is so hard. Not since the likes of Jesse Ward have I found myself so irritated with the hero of a story. Hawkins has created an intense, damaged, self destructive, and at times almost manic hero.
His few redeeming qualities are fading fast.

Initially his character was intriguing. A gorgeous, wealthy, out of work actor with a bad boy reputation. As the book progresses Dylan becomes a well-developed, complex character, a far cry from the simple, gorgeous bad boy he appears to be. We eventually see hints to a damaged past and what I suspect is PTSD (or borderline personality disorder).

Ok that was mean but you’ll know what I mean when you read his behavior.

What exactly is it that haunts Dylan and inspires his self destructive behavior? And self destructive is an understatement. Dylan is a ticking time bomb. As soon as there is any hint of stability he goes off like a rocket, almost manic sometimes in his need to distract and entertain himself, while also creating distance from emotional ties. He seems to crave acceptance almost as much as he pushes it away. He takes things to levels I’ve never seen a hero reach in a book before. Hawkins is no stranger to questionable male leads (Jax anyone?) but Dylan quickly moves from inspiring questions to inspiring hatred. I don't even know if redemption is possible at this point. I don't think there are many lines left for Dylan to cross.

Hawkins had better bring his A game in part 2 for this sinner to be redeemed.

Gemma is the innocent bystander in all of this. She stumbles onto the train wreck that is Dylan’s life and through fate’s intervention is destined to try to halt the crazy train. Imagine shoveling snow during a blizzard. Though not as developed of a character as Dylan she is not without her complexities. Towards the end we see a glimpse into her past and there is obviously a mystery there to unravel. And while Dylan is not my favorite at the moment he sees as clearly into Gemma as she sees into him. Gemma definitely has the self confidence and clarity needed to go toe to toe with Dylan although ultimately he manages to completely sabotage any progress they’ve made by the end of the book. We’re left with Gemma as a victim of Dylan again while he clearly is the one that needs help.

I’ll go ahead and throw out a warning that this is indeed a cliffhanger. (Another Hawkins trademark.) So be prepared.

Overall I will grudgingly admit to being hooked. I'm giving the book 5 angry stars for managing to hook me, entertain me and inspire such strong emotion. The book is also well written, the plot carefully and painfully laid out. I highly recommend one-clicking, just have a drink or two handy.

I have a new author crush. His name is J.D. Hawkins and he gave me Dylan Freakin Marlowe. I’m seriously dying over this guy. Hot, sexy, and says all the right things. JEEZUS, I fell hard.

You know the saying, “there’s an app for that”—well this app known as Bootycall has to be the greatest “invention” ever. Feeling lonely, want a quick lay, no strings… all you do is login in to Bootycall and BAM, just what you’re looking for is right there for the taking.

Dylan is a famous movie star who is looking for a good time, hot sex and one nighters. He’s no stranger to a “wham, bam, thank you ma’am” kinda nights. Only this time, the woman he connects with is not at all what he was expecting. She’s different—down to earth, funny, and GASP, gives him all the feels.

Gemma has just broken things off with her douchenozzle boyfriend and has had a run of bad luck. She decides to give Bootycall a try just for the hell of it and connects with Dylan.

Well, let me tell you that the chemistry between these two was just OH MY GOD off the charts. I would give ANYTHING to switch places with Gemma. Dylan is MELTY. Like, WHOOSH, there go the panties!!
“I want to take you higher than you’ve ever been. I want to make you scream. I want to make you lose control of yourself. A body like yours deserves it.”

YES, PLEASE, DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!! You know like in Harry Met Sally, “I’ll have what she’s having.” I want that!!!

So much more goes on than a typical bootycall, but you’re gonna have to read it yourself to find out. There is angst, heat and you’ll be hungry for more once you’re done. I’m dying to see how it all turns out in Bootycall 2.

You seriously want to check out J.D. Hawkins. This is the third book I’ve read by him and I’m hooked—line and sinker.

Bootycall..Simple put I loved it. JD Hawkins does it again with his incredible writing, humor and characters that are real,raw,intense and loveable. This book takes you on a journey in the land of Los Angeles where being a actor can be rewarding and often times brutal. Dylan is struggling and presses an app that will change the course of his journey. That is how we meet Gemma, I love her she is fierce, beautiful,strong and exactly what Dylan needs.

The way this is written you can just picture how damn sexy Dylan is even with all his different sides. He comes across as demanding,sweet,funny and at times just mean. He is struggling with at one time being on top to now coming back in the limelight.

Chapters and words that flow with great dialogue, their thoughts,humor, angst,and with two characters that you cannot help but love. Also,abs,very sexy scenes and a motorcycle!

"This girl has me feeling like I could spend the whole
night just listening to her laugh. My mind races trying to put a face to that voice."

"Eyes of man before the kill and a smile of man who enjoys it."

There is so much to this great book, read, enjoy, and look out because the ending is...Bootycall 2 is coming soon so the wait is not long and I will be diving right in.

Gemma Clarke had just split up with her boyfriend having found him cheating on her with none other than her best friend. Blowing her world upside down, she decided to escape outside her usual conformist box and log onto the Bootycall app. Who she found on the other end, stirred immediate unfamiliar feelings and she found herself agreeing to meet up with him.

We've had the hot actor meeting the meek unknown before, but Dylan Marlowe was a law unto himself. He was brash, he was ballsy, and all served up with an Irish lilt.

Fascinated by the apprehensive, yet engaging woman on the end of the phone, Dylan had the great idea to meet up..

This quick little tantalising tale was refreshingly unexpected. Both characters were immediately pleasing, and their verbal wrangling was both witty and playful.

I look forward to discovering what lies behind Dylan's apparent disregard for anything authoritarian.

4.5. ⭐️. I've been recommending this author to all my book friends-- smut lovers to fellow book snobs. The truth is, the short, fast paced books are just the right tempo. Much needed in the world of long winded romance, over complicated, repeating love scenes. Heroines with brains, feisty mouths, and witty personalities. Heroes that are real. The right formula of flawed with egos, hearts, star power, and perfect amount of respect for women. If I'm not disappointed in JD's work... You won't be. Pick it up!

So after I had finished mentally licking the abs of the guy on the cover, I actually started reading!!

Dylan is a film star who is on the skids. He is bored with the same old same old so he makes use of an app called Bootycall so he can have 1 night of passion. He finds a willing, but hesitant participant…..a girl who wants to remain anonymous. Fireworks of the hot nature ensue!!!

Gemma works in Finance for a film company but is chucked in to babysit a star, their paths cross again…its Dylan!! Can she get the notorious star to just do his job without getting into trouble? She’s got her work cut out for her that is for sure!

This book is very humorous and light hearted although I sense in part 2 (out early August) that some heavy feelings will come out and explain why Dylan acts the way he does. Gemma is already breaking him down by giving him newsflashes into his life – I really enjoyed her straight talking nature.

Dylan trying to woo her make me lol….he delivers her a line (which was beautiful!) and she says ‘Please, that cheese is way too strong for this wine’! Brilliant!

This is part 1, doesn’t end in a cliffhanger per say…but you are left wanting more!

4 'Why so short?' Stars

First of all, this cover is AMAZING!

Dylan Marlowe's Hollywood' bad boy, the guy we all love to hate, he's in a bump in his carreer and since he's used to getting what he wants and this night, he wants a distraction and uses a dating app to find it (that's good storyline!) He meets this girl who seems so different from all the women he's met so in an impulse he invites her to his house. Gemma's just broke up with her boyfriend when she finds him cheating with her best friend. She's in low place so wants to be reckless and the dating app seemed like a good idea, she wasn't expecting to turn up in front of Dylan's house.

After a crazy, hot night and both of them thinking it was just a one night stand they find themselves working together. You can tell Dylan's an a*hole because of something that happened to him and that Gemma's uptight and a pushover and they both picked at themselves. Loved their interactions.

This has so much potential I wish it was a full novel! It's written from both of their POVs and the writing is great! I'm reading the next one right now!

BAD BOY VIA BAD BOY!

It takes one to know one - and thank the alpha gods we finally have one writing about them!
And... like a true lady killer - he takes us on the least - expected - wild -ride! The ones you hate to admit you loved every minute of.

Dylan Marlow - superstar; needs a BootyCall - and thank god he has that APP!
He's a fun cross between, Jonathon Rhys Meyers (unpredictable intensity), Colin Farrell ( pure bad boyness) and Michael Fassbender,(general hotness ).
Meets girl next door - who innocently picks up his anynomous call, in response to a terrible break up.
You can't imagine what happens next.

You think you know this story - but you don't! You'll never say no to a BootyCall - again!

JD is my new one click wonder - dishing out everything I love in a fun, sizzly, sexy read. His writing is sinfully sexy and delish, direct, easy to read and so fresh coming from a true male POV.
Sign up for THIS Bootycall - you won't regret a thing!

As much as I loved Insatiable 1 & 2, I have to say I have a new favorite!
You can tell Dylan is struggling with a past, he is both smooth & jagged socially & emotionally.
Gemma is pretty freaking awesome. I like that she isn't starstruck, that she gives his shit right back. He has been coasting above the stuff he needs to confront & I can't wait to see how it goes down!
JD writes in a whip smart clear voice...sometimes jarring, funny, charming, scorching hot or heartfelt. Hits on all cylinders...
My reading groove was in place, loving where it was headed then *POW* outta nowhere....and here I am tapping my toes for Part 2!

An actor who has problems used an app called "The BootyCall".
He got connected to this woman who was looking for someone to talk to.
They decided to spend the night with each other's company.
The day after, she was gone.
He thought to hire a P.I. to find this girl. Fortunately their paths crossed again.
But not as two consenting adults who were looking for something casual.
Will they keep their relationship professionally or will their attraction with each other win?

Super hot, erotic sexy times, an alpha male and a strong heroine makes for a good book in my world. This book had it all and once again, there was assholery from the alpha and a woman who knew how to put him in his place. The banter is amazing, the characters are interesting and the story is well written.
I highly recommend!
