Mucha acción y mucho suspenso. Sufrí mucho con este libro, todos los personajes estaban en constante peligro y yo sólo podía comerme las uñas y tener la esperanza de que salieran bien de la batalla.
Me gustó mucho como concluyó todo, la perspectiva del futuro de lis personajes y del mundo en general.
Una trilogía que vale la pena leer.

Es más un 2.75/5, diría yo. No sé qué me pasó con este libro, esta vez no logré conectar con los personajes y con la historia. Se me hizo un poco eterno y sentía que la historia se alargaba innecesariamente... Como que lo único que hacían era caminar y caminar y caminar, pelear ocasionalmente con algún Surari y poco más.
Con Espíritu también me pasó que perdí todo el interés en Sarah y Sean, me daba la impresión de que eran invisibles y que su historia, al final, tendría un desenlace bastante predecible y sin muchos giros. De hecho, si le pongo tres estrellas al libro es porque lo que le sucede a Elodie y la aparición de las familiar Vendramin y Falco renuevan un poco el ritmo de la historia; no mucho, pero algo más dinámica sí que la vuelven.
Me hizo muchísima falta que el encuentro y la batalla final con el Rey de las Sombras fuera más épica porque para mí se resolvió muy rápido. Peeeeero bueno, sé que muchísima gente amó este libro, así que confirmo que para gustos están los colores, jajaja.

So I finished this book yesterday. But I had to study for midterms, so here I am today, telling you how awesome this book was.
We ar following Sarah, Sean, Niall, Elodie, Nicholas and friends a couple of week later the events on Tide's end.
They're in Polony and they're trying to find the door to the World of Shadows so they can find and kill the king of the shadows.
They have been growing and changing since the last book, decisions were maden and sides were took. Now we don't know who is on who's sides and that's what makes the difference between life and death.
Sarah has completely turned into a badass female, now she can control her powers, her mind and heart are clear and she knows what is happening. She is a soldier in a war bigger than her and she is more determined than ever to win it.
Sean received some news last book and he is trying to realize a way for him to live with them. He has a big responsibility but he is just a man a he is wondering what path he should take.
Nicholas took a decision on the last book and he is carrying with the hard consequences of it, his father has no mercy. This is the part where I struggle, bc he is showing something and doing other, and now I actually trust him. In the first book and half the second one, I hated him, but at the end of Tide I couldn't, he took a big risk, he made a jump of faith and he didn't care about the consequences. So in this one I was actually trusting him.
He had developed this bond with Elodie that was actually a good thing. She being a pysiquic was always able to tell if something was wrong, or if he was feeling something else. Besides he has a great power (*He really likes to say it -I'm fire- said Niall with a big smile) and it was necessary having him in battle, so she is the one in who he trusts in those moments. Frankly their bond was a reaaaaaaally good thing. Not just for others, but also for each other.
Elodie on the other side is sick. Something is happening with her and that started in Italy. She has been having this visions about the future from months ago where she has seen the end and it's not good, for anyone. She is trying to stop those events turning into the actual future, but all of them, specially Sarah took the decision, and after that everything seems to blur.
Niall, my favorite guy of the whole trilogy, has found someone and everytime I was reading his POV I was just sooo freaking happy that I couldn't stop smiling. He is like a piece of sunshine in thet Shadowy world of these books. He is always happy, even in the worst situations. he likes to see the positive side on everything and even when he had suffered a lot he keeps trying to be the best he can.
In this one some new characters appeared, ones that are actually quite important, with incredible abilities, they can save them or destroy them. But either ways the future is on their hands.
I honestly loved the settings in this book, the relationship between all of them, it was just amazing. I really love about this book that she made things clare. The feelings of all of the characters are quite obvious. They tell you what they are doing and why, so at the end when some stuff happens you don't get too surprise. She goes straight to the point in a lot of stuff and that was refreshing.
I'm pretty sure that the problem of the writing style it has all to do with the traduction because this books are just fantasticals. Everytime they were under attack I was able to see the whole scene in my mind. It can be turned into a movie and end up great.
The final battle with the king of the shadows was just marvellous. I was suffering and happy because of it.
And that Ending. OMG that ending. It was just mind blowing!!!
Something is happening here, while something happens there, and suddenly there!!! I was just OMG.
*She* and Nicholas at the end was just AWESOMEZING.
These books are very well written, with an amazing plot, really enjoyable characters and they're just sooo addictive that you would want to finish them on the same day you start them.
They are so easy to read that they took me out of my reading slump. It was sooooo entertaining.
Highly highly recommended.

Cumplió mis expectativas
Final típicamente feliz, pero en lo personal quedó un poco triste por el final que tuvo Nicolás como ahora el señor de las sombras, junto a Martina
Con Elodie me encariñe para que al final no se quedara con nadie y quedara embarazada 🥺
Ese embarazo pudo ser mucho potencial para otra saga 😅 el hijo del ahora nuevo rey de los demonios
Me dejó buen sabor de boca este libro 👌🏻

'Spirit' is the third and final installment in the 'Sarah Midnight' series by Daniela Sacerdoti, an author I appreciate very much and love dearly. Daniela won my heart with her debut 'Watch Over Me' back in 2011, a book that's very dear to me and one of my all time favorites. Since then, she's written another adult/women's fiction novel and this series. While I was certain she's an excellent women's fiction writer, up until now I didn't have a chance to check out her urban fantasy series. When I got the opportunity to review this book for her blog tour, I was over the moon. It was the perfect chance to finally check out this series and see Daniela in a completely new light.
I must say things would have been bit easier if I've read the two previous installments. There are a lot of characters, and as interesting as they are, it took me some time to realize which one of them was crucial for the plot and which one wasn't. However, it wasn't so bad since the author made sure she included some facts about them, and make things easier for those who are reading the series in the wrong order.
I'm not the biggest fan of paranormal and everything fantasy and it's been a while since I've reached out for a book in that genre. But I really enjoyed this story and the wonderful fantasy world Daniela created. There sure are many characters, Sarah, Sean, Nicolas, Elodie just being few of them, but most of the story is centered around them and their fight against THE EVIL, in this case the King of Shadows. As they travel Poland in search of the portal between their world and the Shadow World, they are faced with many dangerous situations.
Fighting demons, both from outside and within themselves, they lead a battle against the evil trying to save the human kind and those of their 'kind', making sure Sarah, the Secret heir will stay alive and continue the race of these people with powers necessary to protect the world. There are strong feelings between Sarah and Sean however there are certain reasons why they are not allowed to be together.
As they fight the evil in Shadow World, they face all sorts of danger, temptation and even betrayal. As you can imagine, there's a lot of action and the pacing is fast. Lots of things happen, many stories are told and many characters (with different powers) are introduced.
If I had to sum it up in just one word, I'd say this book is INTENSE. Yes,that would be the perfect word to describe it. It's intense and pulls you in from the very first page. You get to care for each of these characters, rooting for Sarah and her friends, wondering what's gonna happen next and if they're all gonna pull it off in the numerous fights. As much as I expected this book to be good, it totally surpassed all my expectations. I think Daniela is definitely one of these authors who can switch genres with such ease and be successful both as women's fiction and fantasy writer. This is really not easy for many, but Daniela proves it's possible.
An action-packed, gripping read that you won't be able to put down. I'm very much looking forward to reading the other two parts in the series.

Me encantó!! Tiene un final cerrado, pero que deja a la imaginación de lo que quiera...tranquilamente se podría hacer un libro paralelo para saber que paso con algunos personajes. Pero en general me gusto el desarrollo de los personajes y la historia.

Una trilogía magnífica. Llena de misterios, emociones y acción. Con cada libro la historia se vuelve más emocionante y simplemente no puedes parar de leer. El desenlace de esta historia no pudo haber sido mejor. Me encantó el hecho de que cada personaje haya tenido un rol importante y haya aportado mucho a la historia y al combate final.
Es increíble la cantidad de amor, ternura, odio, ira y desesperación que te pueden hacer sentir los personajes. Por un momento durante la batalla contra el Rey de las Sombras te hacen creer que todo está perdido; pero el rumbo que toma después es sorprendente.
Amo a Sarah y la evolución de su personaje a través de la trilogía, al igual que a Sean, Elodie, Niall con su constante humor, e incluso a Nicholas, que aunque sus acciones no fueron las correctas en ciertas ocasiones, pudo redimirse y actuar de la manera indicada, e incluso logras tomarle mucho aprecio. De igual manera los nuevos personajes que aparecen en este libro, Micol, Alvise, Lucrezia, con sus increíbles poderes.
Sarah y Sean juntos son perfectos. Y el mundo que creó Daniela en esta trilogía es increíble.

Puff este final me dejó insatisfecha. Estuvo interesante lo del mundo de las sombras, pero al mismo tiempo siento que era relleno con cada monstruo que los atacaba. Supongo que lo de Niall y Winter, Sarah y Sean fueron buenos cierres, igual que el despertar de Lucrezia, pero me hubiera gustado saber también que les ocurrió luego a Lucrezía, Alvise y su padre y si Micol se quedó con ellos. Igualmente saber como fue la vida de Nicholás y Martina (aunque la aparición de Martina me pareció muy forzada y triste por Eloide) y Eloide eso de quedar embarazada de Nicholás, haberse empezado a enamorar de él y que Martina hubiera usado su cuerpo no me gustó.

I loved the entire Trilogy (Dreams, Tide and this last one, Spirit). I like Daniela Sacerdoti's style very much: no doubt she's a talented authoress with a great ability to create intriguing plots and fascinating characters. This young adults trilogy is highly recommended also to not-young-anymore adults (like me!) especially if you are looking for a well written book with a story that hooks you from the first line to the very end.

Toda la trilogía en general estuvo bien. Pero no pasó de ahí. Siento que nunca pude conectar con ningún personaje, y no pude encariñarme con ninguno. Si todos hubieran muerto al final del libro, me hubiera dado lo mismo.
Tal vez en algún futuro le dé otra oportunidad y los vuelva a leer a ver qué pasa. Pero lo dudo mucho.
Hay varias cosas que no me convencieron mucho, todo se resolvía demasiado rápido, todo se explicaba de forma bastante pobre. En fin.

En comparación con las entregas anteriores, este libro me resultó más fluido, no sé si porque estaba eufórica por saber cuál era el final o porque en realidad había más acción; pero siendo algo objetiva sí encontramos menos descripciones y más hechos puntuales. Por ejemplo, hasta en Marea la autora nos adentraba en el pasado de Sarah y el de sus amigos, plasmando anécdotas o ''sueños'' para que podamos comprender el desarrollo de la trama. O en el primero que apenas conocíamos cada personaje y las descripciones que había de ellos eran muy recurrentes.
Estoy casi segura de haber mencionado que amo profundamente el personaje de Sarah Midnight: una joven introvertida pero muy inteligente, tomando como referencia que las demás personas la subestiman y ella tiene muchas, muchísimas aptitudes ocultas. Además es obsesiva compulsiva, meticulosa y extremadamente organizada. Destaco el gran acierto de la autora, porque al leer sobre protagonistas con estas características suelo encontrarme con que se vuelven aburridos, insustanciales o incluso demasiado estereotipados. Vamos, que Sarah es muy dark pero se sale de lo común porque no pretende llamar la atención de nadie y porque es auténtica. El resto de los personajes me gustaban en la medida que iban apareciendo más en la historia. Porque sino sentía un poco que todo giraba en torno al personaje principal, y tampoco es que a estas alturas me crea que hay una Bella Swan en cada historia juvenil que me encuentre, ¿no? Aún así, noté que muchos perdieron la fuerza que tenían en el libro anterior, y otros que ya casi ni existían, pasaron a ser invisibles (por ejemplo, respecto de Sarah: su mejor amiga Bryony, su tía Juliet y sus primos).

Hablemos de él final de esta increíble trilogía.
Empecemos por la temática, que desde el primer libro sabíamos que era única y que te engancha desde el comienzo.
Continuamos con los personajes que son únicos y entrañables. Hasta los villanos de la historia son únicos y están bien desarrollados.
Y hablemos de las historias de amor que nos dieron. Porque fueron más de una.
Es que para mí toda la historia fue única y especial.
Les tomé un gran aprecio a todos los personajes, crecí con ellos a lo largo de la historia y me gusta que les dieron el final que se merecían.
Algo muy especial de estos libros es que no sólo la protagonista narra lo que acontese, todos; buenos y malos narran momentos que son claves en la historia y que hacen que entiendas el por qué están ahí, su importancia.
Debo decir que hubo momentos y personajes que deteste en ciertas partes de la historia y aunque debería bajar puntos por ello, creo que es esto lo que me hace darle la calificación maxima; por que no solo me transmitió emoción, felicidad y amor, también me dio furia, decepción, rabia y tristeza, lo que admiro mucho por que pocos libros logran este repertorio de emociones.
Fue una gran aventura, y solo queda agradecer al destino por dejarme leer esta increíble trilogía.
Totalmente recomendable.

Hablemos de él final de esta increíble trilogía.
Empecemos por la temática, que desde el primer libro sabíamos que era única y que te engancha desde el comienzo.
Continuamos con los personajes que son únicos y entrañables. Hasta los villanos de la historia son únicos y están bien desarrollados.
Y hablemos de las historias de amor que nos dieron. Porque fueron más de una.
Es que para mí toda la historia fue única y especial.
Les tomé un gran aprecio a todos los personajes, crecí con ellos a lo largo de la historia y me gusta que les dieron el final que se merecían.
Algo muy especial de estos libros es que no sólo la protagonista narra lo que acontese, todos; buenos y malos narran momentos que son claves en la historia y que hacen que entiendas el por qué están ahí, su importancia.
Debo decir que hubo momentos y personajes que deteste en ciertas partes de la historia y aunque debería bajar puntos por ello, creo que es esto lo que me hace darle la calificación maxima; por que no solo me transmitió emoción, felicidad y amor, también me dio furia, decepción, rabia y tristeza, lo que admiro mucho por que pocos libros logran este repertorio de emociones.
Fue una gran aventura, y solo queda agradecer al destino por dejarme leer esta increíble trilogía.

Primero que nada es un libro excelente, me ha gustado demasiado, la narración es rápida y fácil y los acontecimientos van sucediendo de modo que no te pierdes ni te aburres, todo tiene un porque y eso me ha gustado mucho. Sin embargo hay cosas que me han dejado un poco picada y con ganas de más, porque es verdad que hay acción y es emocionante pero me falto un poquito más de historia al final, porque me encariñe mucho con todos los personajes, y sí que hay un final de los que me gustan pero me faltó un poco más saber sobre todos ellos, no sólo sobre Sarah y Sean, que los amo, pero también a los demás, como por ejemplo de Nicholas y de Martyna porque pues entiendo que las cosas tenían que ser de cierta manera pero sólo tomaron su decisión y ya esta, no hubo más de ellos y eso si me dejo con un sentimiento agridulce.
En general le daría a la trilogía 5 estrellas porque es entretenida, es diferente a lo que últimamente he estado leyendo y me dejo un muy buen sabor de boca, y quiero destacar algo en particular que son los epígrafes (creo que así se llaman) en los tres libros había uno por cada capítulo y tengo que admitir que son los más bonitos que he leído concuerdan muy bien con cada capítulo, eran cortos pero muy hermosos y eso me ha enamorado mucho.

En general le daría a la trilogía 5 estrellas porque es entretenida, es diferente a lo que últimamente he estado leyendo y me dejo un muy buen sabor de boca, y quiero destacar algo en particular que son los epígrafes (creo que así se llaman) en los tres libros había uno por cada capítulo y tengo que admitir que son los más bonitos que he leído concuerdan muy bien con cada capítulo, eran cortos pero muy hermosos y eso me ha enamorado mucho.

If you have read and enjoyed the first two books in The Sarah Midnight Trilogy then I imagine you will also enjoy the third book. I think Daniela has done exceptionally well to link the three books without being overly repetitive, and I feel like each book contains a distinct element to the story.
I personally found the whole trilogy to be lacking in something; I just did not find myself completely enthralled and captivated. The trilogy is packed full of demons, friendship, betrayal and love, and Spirit is the ultimate climax of everything for Sarah and the others, who continue to find themselves in all sorts of horrific situations, and I think this was the source of the main downfall for me; I just found it too unrealistic and could not understand how people could continue to survive an onslaught of such awful encounters. But the question is, can they all survive meeting The King of Shadows?
However, the trilogy is aimed at young adults (which I am no longer) so perhaps this was the issue for me. A wonderful author overall, so still recommended.

El principio me parece un poco lento y predecible pero después se pone mas emocionante, con giros inesperados, por eso creo que no logra tener 5 estrellas pero si 4.5, me gusto mucho el final de esta trilogía. Ahora, lo que tengo que decir de los personajes es que a lo largo de la trilogía Sarah cambia bastante y eso hizo que me agradara, pero no logro convertirse en uno de mis personajes favoritos. Sean,siempre estuve de parte de él, a excepción de 2 veces; me encanta ese personaje desde el inicio de la trilogía. A Nicholas comencé odiandolo, luego me agrado, después perdí mi confianza en él, pero finalmente terminó siendo un personaje que quiero. Niall, ese chico me agrada mucho, me hacia reír. Me siento un poco mal por todo lo que pasa con Elodie. En cuanto a Winter, Micol e.t.c creo que también son buenos personajes.

It was a great end for a trilogy, I liked that somehow Daniela Sacerdoti left some "open doors" for us readers to think of the possible scenarios of what will happen next with the characters, but still, there's /this/ enigma I literally /had/ to DMed her about because the curiosity was just too much, hope she replies to me.
As a story, the end is kind of predictable, but yet it has a good development of the "mythology" she's created for the series with the demons and the gifts of the Secret Heirs, so my advice is for you to make sure to read the entire series, it is worth the time, a quick, well developed reading!

La mayor parte del libro los personajes se encuentran enfrentando más y más tipos de suraris mientras van de camino al Mundo de las Sombras y luego en el camino a encontrar al Rey de las Sombras. Eso causó que para mi el libro fuera difícil de seguir leyendo porque el desarrollo de la historia fuera de esas peleas era muy poca. Hubo pocos descubrimientos finales, pocas sorpresas y el final, bueno, fue un final y ya. Un punto positivo es que la trama esta buena, me refiero al mundo donde hay familias secretas con poderes que luchan contra estos demonios, y que me encariñé con algunos personajes secundarios.

Avevo promesso una recensione un po' più estesa per quando avrei finito tutta la trilogia...
Bellissima trilogia un po' horror di Daniela Sacerdoti. Nonostante non apprezzi il genere, devo dire che mi è piaciuta molto. I personaggi sono stati ben definiti dall'autrice e tutti lasciano un segno nel cuore. Il finale del libro è comunque aperto ad un sequel. Ci sarà?
Speriamo che i libri vengano pubblicati anche in Italiano.

Un buen final para esta gran trilogía, lleno de acción y suspenso. la escritora en este libro nos describe un mundo perverso lleno de demonios pero igualmente fascinante, y el crecimiento de Sarah es de notar. Think this may have been better as a two-part series instead of a trilogy Daniella seemed to run out of plot and character development ideas Part 3 was slow to start with but got very gripping from about half way through. Overall I would definitely recommend this trilogy

Ok al fín logré acabar este libro despues de no tener mucho tiempo para leer.
Lleno de acción y suspenso, una protagonista como casi no las hay en los libros juveniles, intrépida, valiente y muy madura.

Well that was a great final book to end a
The Sarah Midnight series, I really enjoyed all the books. Great young adult trilogy, if you like fantasy, with demons and demon hunters this is for you. I loved it.
