Altered Devotion
She vanished at six. Nine years later, she came home with a strange symbol carved into her skin—and no memory of where she'd been.
Now twenty-five, Allie Benton has built a life she loves—a successful art career, a devoted family, and Gavin, the man she plans to marry.
Then a child disappears. The same symbol found on Allie's body is discovered carved above his bed. And the nightmares begin.
A dark room.
A circle of strangers.
Blood on her tongue.
Fire closing in.
A voice whispering for her to obey.
Allie doesn't know if these are memories, nightmares, or something her mind has buried for a reason. But she knows she's seen that symbol before.
As she searches for answers, secrets surface. And her memories grow darker. Because whatever happened to Allie during those lost nine years didn't end when she came home.
Something followed her back.
And now it's ready to be remembered.
