Danny:
I can look but not touch. That’s the rule.
That’ll keep us all out of trouble
and ensure our trust funds are secure.
But some women are worth the risk.
I try to protect her from him.
I should protect her from me instead.

Mo:
Manwhore—and he’s not afraid to let everyone know it.
We aren't friends, not by any stretch,
though I’ve always secretly hoped for more.
Then he touches me and I’m lost.
But Danny isn't just an average asshole.
He’s bad to the core.
So. Bad.

***I was given an ARC of So Bad from the author for an honest review***

So. Bad. Was, So. Good!

Well, where should I begin? This was my first opportunity reading a book by this author. I always get skeptical about reviewing new books, but the cover sold me lol (being honest). I began the book on a lunch break and was overwhelmingly overtaken by the characters and the story. I could NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN.

The story has so many moving parts, that you think it's about Danny and Mo(na), but it's so much bigger. Since I don't like to retell the story as outlined in the blurb, I will stick with the facts. Kelley takes an approach at dysfunctional families that you rarely see in a book. Although this ends up as a type of love story, the dynamic of the behind the scenes that get us there is what drew my attention.

Danny is not your typical bad boy and Mo is the not so typical female. The live under the same roof so to speak and both are dealing with the emotions they have toward each other and barriers they have toward their fathers. Danny realizes that his feelings go beyond a lay and Mo is doing all she can to keep him at bay as the one she "sows oats with."

During the midst of their "relationship" some secrets are revealed and this became the turning point for me. It was not expected (I promise you won't figure it out) and it took me through a roller coaster of emotions. I cried, laughed, yelled, cried, was turned on, cried, laughed....you get the point lol.

Kelley takes this story to another level with the scenes between Danny and Mo early on. There is one in particular...you will know it when you read it that was so detailed I wanted to participate lol. Her writing style is easy to follow, and you can hear yourself or those you know in the character's words. That's how real this book was. I love to read characters who don't sound cheesy.

I am totally in love with Danny and Mo and you will be too...

So Bad was So. Good. It is a must read and a page turner from beginning to end!

I was lucky to recieve an ARC for an honest review.
Here it goes:
Honestly, I had not heard of Kelley Harvey before I stumbled across a link to read and review this book. With that said, I will be checking out what other titles she has to offer because Danny and Mo drew me in! Their story is so great, he can't have the girl he wants so he acts like a whore. She thinks he's a whore, so she stays the hell away from him even though shes had a crush on him since she moved into his parents' home. Mo's guarding herself after everything thats happened in her past and is super skeptical when Danny starts to show interest in her, she thinks it is all part of his scheme to get in her pants. After finally giving in to what she thinks will only end negatively, she finds herself slowly falling for Danny and shes terrified. To safeguard herself she repeats that she is "sowing wild oats" time and time again. This unnerves Danny, so he tries his damnedest to show Mo how he really feels, only to have her shuck him at every turn. As the plot thickens, their tumultuous relationship is put to some BIG tests and both of them are unsure of the outcomes for different reasons. But, in the end, they both come out of the fog with a renewed and reciprocated love for one another and are able to live happily ever after. I really do hope there is more to this story or at least a story for Rachel. Kelley Harvey, an author hasn't drawn me in to a book and left me wanting this much more in almost a year. THANK YOU! I cant wait to continue to read your work.

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow. Just wow. I thought I knew what I was getting into with this book when I read the blurb, but I honestly have to say that I was surprised. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a sucker for bad boys, which is why I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of this book. All I can say is to not let the blurb fool you; there is MUCH more to this story than the typical reformed bad boy.

Danny, the son of an extremely popular televangelist, is a manwhore; but it's not by choice. He became this way after being denied the one person he wanted most in the world, his twin's best friend Mona. You see, his family took her in after the death of her mother & she has been ruled as off limits. So what is a guy to do? He makes his father pay for being obsessed with appearances by sleeping with anything in a skirt. If he can't have her, he needs to try to get over her.

Mona is a good girl. She is so grateful of her best friend's parents for keeping her out of the system when she was a teenager that she does everything by the rules. All except for one thing; she keeps fantasizing about Danny even though she believes that he hates her. So what happens when they get stuck together for the summer?

Sparks fly. Secrets are revealed. And they both learn that appearances can be deceiving. With a few shocking twists that I never saw coming, this book is MUCH more than your typical "bad boy falls for good girl" story.

If her other books are as good as this one, I have just found another 1click author.

I'm a little over half way and I'm enjoying this book emensely. much more than I thought I would. Let me explain. I'm a science fiction and urban fantasy author and reader. I do read a lot outside my genre. I love biographies, history, historical fiction, mystery, thriller, horror, pretty much everything, but I've always shied away from adult fantasy/erotica. I've been missing out.

This is my first true adult fantasy novel and my first time reading Kelley Harvey. I was a little thrown by the 1st person present tense, as I write 1st person past, and I don't see it often, but it really works to get the reader in the character's head and it gives a sense of immediacy to the story and the action.

The action...I'll complete the review when I complete the book, but I will say that I'm happy I'm reading this in private and not on a bus, train, or anyplace that it might be socially awkward for a physical response. ;)

The book is done and doesn't disappoint. I expected a fun, sexy romp, but there's a solid story behind it. It wasn't just a point A into slot B, repeat, moan, caress, repeat and I liked that. Mo is a good solid character and Danny starts off a cocky jerk, but it works to set up the cat and mouse tit for tat that made this read breezy and fun. Danny and Mo evolve into true lovers and who doesn't like that?

Kelley Harvey is a solid author and I see that she has a sci-fi romance series. I think I'll go add that to my book pile. Well Done! Look forward to more.

No Spoilers...This story is written from Mo, and Danny's POV. I received an "unedited ARC" for an honest review the writing was flawless, and I didn't find any errors. I have read published books that needed more work than this unedited ARC. It was an absolute pleasure reading this story. I loved the banter these two characters had, I loved that they were strong, and didn't give up easily. I have to admit I fell for Danny almost immediately. This book grabbed me at the beginning and kept me until the end. This story line has been done before the man-whore and the innocent, so you really have to make the characters memorable to not bore me. I was not bored, and I liked the plot twist that was thrown in to keep things interesting. This story was fun, hot, and so worth the time. Good writing, great character development, and good plot line and overall 5 star read. This is a standalone without a cliffhanger.

I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review and I gotta say it really blew me away.

Ok so Mo has been living with her best friends family since her mum passed away. The father is a preacher and the mum is an alcoholic. The best friend, Rachel is off to Africa leaving Mo and Danny (Rachel's brother) alone for the summer.

Mo has had a huge crush on Danny for as long as she can remember but for some reason Danny turned into a real jerk 3 years ago and is now a bad boy who sleeps with anything that moves.

Danny has his reasons for being the way he is, but all is not what it seems.

I'm not a fan of spoilers but I will say the ending brought happy tears to my eyes.

This is a wonderfully written romantic story about how one woman can tame a bad boy. A must read for all romance lovers. Be warned though, the sex scenes will melt your kindle.

I absolutely loved Mo and Danny's story. Danny is a manwhore and Mo has had a crush on him for years. Every time she turns around he has a different girl up against a wall, on a car hood, or somewhere. She knows Danny is a BAD boy, SO BAD, but that doesn't stop her from wanting him. She knows he 's not a relationship type of guy, but he is a fling kind of guy. This is their story!! I highly recommend this story to everyone!, You will not be disappointed!! I hope you'll read this book and fall in love, like I did. We learn a lot about Danny and Mo during this book. Mo is a strong chick and Danny is SO BAD!! You can't help but love him, especially when we learn why he is the way he is!! I can't wait to read more from this amazing author!! Kelley, YOU ROCK!!

This book is hot, hot, hot!

Danny is a man-whore and proud of it. He is the hot boy who can't get the girl he wants so he throws a tantrum by going on a sex rampage.

Mo is a sweet girl on a mission to protect her heart at all costs.

Without giving anything away, this was an interesting read were the characters have to learn to trust their own feelings as well as one another and the back story to it with Danny's family was quite different and I had not read anything with this kind of background yet.

This book held my attention and I finished it in two days.

I received an ARC for an honest review. Recommended to 18+ readers. Stand alone.

Kelly Harvey is a new author for me, but she gave big chance to know her better from her new book. I never regret reading SO.BAD; it's like I found a buried treasure. She gives a unique touch and different vibe than other similar books with this genre.

Danny Jennings is a sinful package of six feet who succeed burn my eyes since his first appearance. He’s sexy and realizing his charm, a manwhore who proud of his status, he’s cocky flirty and satisfied with his skills. Danny is a living wet dream for every woman. He could have all woman, except the one who is he really wants. His baby sister best friend.

Mona “Mo” Lisa is an orphan and taken by Jennings family. Mo has father issue and having trust problem with man, especially Danny. Maybe she’s weak against sexual attraction towards Danny but that’s not serious. I loved Mo’s character as big as my love for character Danny. She doesn’t confused easily and quite straight to the point with what she wants. She also ‘forced’ Danny to fight hard to get every chance with her. Go girl!!!

My first thought is Danny only likes Mo sexually, but after reading nine chapter with full of EXTRA HOT sex content that could melt my panties, we also starting to know how much Danny’s obsession with Mo and what turns him into a manwhore. Mrs. Kelley successfully bring the h/h personality without giving excessive turmoil of typical NA. She didn’t give instant chemistry that cliché or claim excessive possessiveness.

The conflict and solution in SO.BAD is quite simple, balance and easy to read but unexpectedly enjoyable. This book still on the track with the story, processing simple scene becomes more attractive, funny, sexy and touching without exaggeration. I would recommend this book for NA lovers who love cute love story with sweetness in the right dose. Do you need flirt sexy scene with full of laughter? Do not forget the hot and spicy scenes that can bring multiple eyegarsm.
Choose this book.

My Rating
Star 4/5
Bikini 3/5

Fave Quote/Scene:
After I shower, I wrap in a towel.
Danny sits propped against my pillows, ankles crossed, hands behind his head. “Hey, beautiful.”
I stop in the doorway. “Why are you still here?”
He grins. “For weeks now, all I do when I go back to my bed is dream of being in yours. Maybe if I stay, I can dream about something else for a change.”

I received an unedited advance review copy of this book from the author, in return for an honest review.

Kelley Harvey is a new author to me, but she was recommended by another member of my online book group. I like discovering new authors to follow and don’t mind doing reviews, so when an ARC was offered, I accepted.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with the ARC being an unedited version. I do some proofreading for indie authors on occasion and have seen some pretty rough drafts, but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of “finish” on So. Bad. As it stands, unedited, it is better-written than many books I’ve read that were put out by brick-and-mortar publishing houses, after supposedly being proofread and edited by professionals. I’m not saying the copy of So. Bad. I read doesn’t need a touch of polishing, but it was well-done enough that it didn’t ruffle my “Grammar Nazi” feathers, lol. I have every confidence Ms. Harvey will fine-tune her work before it hits the virtual shelves.

This story is about a young adult girl, Mo, whose father abandoned her as a toddler and whose mother passed away, leaving her a homeless orphan. Mo is made the ward of the parents of her best friends, twins Rachel and Danny. Their father is a big-time televangelist while their mother spends her days in and out of rehab clinics. Mo goes to school, studies, and volunteers at a women’s shelter. Rachel gets sent off on missions to make her preacher dad look good, and Danny does his best to make Daddy look bad. Life is not as perfect as the righteous would have his followers believe, and it doesn’t take long before Mo is caught up in the web of sin.

It took me a chapter or two to get into the book, but I do tend to have that problem when reading present-tense stories for some reason. That’s on me, not the author. Once I got used to the present-tense, I honestly read through to the end. I like the way the author handled situations that are, unfortunately, more common than we’d all like to admit, and I felt issues were dealt with in a fairly realistic manner.

Will I recommend this book to fellow readers? Yes.

Will I read other books by this author? Again, yes.

Kelley Harvey is a new author to me and I received this copy for an honest review.

Danny is sexy and a naughty rebellious manwhore that you just couldn't get enough of that you'd bend over and take whatever you can get from him...even if your being used. He has a charisma but further more he has a heartbreaking story to why he rebels especially towards his father. Danny is a man that I instantly loved. He wasn't sorry for who he was and just went after what he wanted. To read about a guy like that is my kryptonite and well Danny fit that type to a "T". As my eyes and mind catch Danny, his eyes are locked and loaded on Mo.

Mo has watched Danny have a different girl, but that doesn't stop the crush thats fiercely blooming in her heart. She know's that she shouldn’t because Danny is so bad..but that makes him all the more intriguing. From watching Danny's past relationships in the shadows she knows that he's not a relationship type of guy, but he's the fling type and she's ready to be his next quest.

Honestly the blurb pulled me in first, but as soon as I read the first chapter I was seriously hooked. I staying up late into the night to finish all my other arc's so I could put all my attention on “So Bad”. I had coffee brewing at one in the morning just so I can read this and man did I love it! I consumed it in a way that I thought my heart would either burst or my heart would just tear to shreds as I kept on reading. My emotions were on overload. I felt like I was their cheerleader because Mo was such a strong woman and called Danny on his BS (which I absolutely loved), but also because of why Danny was the way he was. Everything in this story just clicked. Plot, characters and the pace was just spot on! Truly a pleasure to read, even if I did feel my heartbreaking and slowly repairing.

This book will give you a book hangover! I'm still have mine. HIGHLY Recommend!! Get it. One-click! You won't be disappointed, I wasn't! I look forward to reading more of Kelley's books in the future.

This author renewed my love of books.
SO.BAD. by Kelley Harvey is a phenomenal read! This book was a step outside of my normal go-to genres. I would classify SO.BAD. as contemporary erotica romance, which unless it has a dark element added in is not a preference of mine. There was a major drama going on but it played second fiddle to the emotions of a traumatized young woman. Not trama to her person but psychological trama dealt to her by a parent. Kelley Harvey was able to bring the erotic parts of her book together with the emotions and make one fiery hot read.

Kelley is an excellent writer. Her book grabs you from the start and doesn't let you go. I was unable to put it down until I saw the last page. Her intimate scenes are HOT! There are just enough to not be too much, but so many you could call this book a one-hand-read. There are a few editorial mistakes but those couldn't stay in my head, like they normally would, throughout a book. Her characters and her storyline were more than enough to keep my focus. I can't wait to see what she does with the next book in this series.

Thank you for a great book! Keep writing!

As stated above, this book is a contemporary erotica romance. There is lots and lots of great sex.

Add on 9/30/15
Wow! I have written many reviews for many different books but never have I had an author respond the way that Kelley Harvey has. Not only did she thank me for pointing out the editorial mistakes, I've noticed that she's already fixed them. That is dedication and pride in one's work that is sorely missing in today's society.
Never change, and Keep Writing!

Danny had known his little sister Rachel's best friend Mona Lisa, for many years. He has teased her, tortured her, and tried not to hate or resent her. In reality, he would do anything for her.

Mona Lisa aka "Mo", thinks Danny hates her. He is a bit of a manwhore who parties too hard and too much. His preacher father and frail mother are not sure what to do with him. Mo just wants to kiss him all over and daysdreams about how hot he is.

Danny had made a deal with the devil, better known as his skeevy father, the preacher. He was to stay away from Mo until she turns 23 - or all their trust funds, (including his sister's) would be kept from them. He could not care less for himself, but for his sister, mother and yes, Mona Lisa he would do this.

Mo just wants to get through school and try to forget about the hottest man she has ever met. Even when she is dating and with other men, her thoughts are with him. Can they get past their differences and give eachother the chance?

Such a heartwarming and sexy read. I was surprised how much I fell in love with these characters! Truly a great story. Danny is so protective you cannot help but root for him to get the girl he has been wishing for for years. Mo is so sweet and innocent, you cannot help but want to tell her what she is looking for is right in front of her!

This was my 1st book from Kelley and it certainly won't be the last, she's a brilliant writer. This book was not quite what you'd expect from the bad boy image we imagine. The male lead is a best friend's brother rather than a stepbrother. Danny is sexy, muscular and crazy about his twin sister's best friend who just happens to stay in his family's guest house so she around all the time. Unfortunately for Danny, he's been warned off of Mo, by someone close to him and what a piece of work they turn out to be!
The chemistry between Danny and Mo is phenomenally good, so real. And the angst the characters good through as well as the hot sex. Soo good. I really felt for Mo, but especially Danny, you'll be rooting for him too.AT one point I though Kelley was going to take the easy way out of a particular scenario in the story by she didn't. This is a fantastic read. I finished it in one day, something I haven't done in a while.

Well I found a new author to read!

So. Bad. was my first book by Kelley Harvey.  It was a cute, sexy, quick read that I adored.

Quick synopsis:
Danny is Mo's best friend's brother and the son of the family that took her in when her mother passed away. Mo has had a crush on Danny since she was young, but Danny is now the biggest manwhore she knows.  So.Bad. follows their journey as a couple from the beginning and has laughs, tears and swooning along the way. Seriously, Danny is one sexy, strong-willed, swoon-worthy book boyfriend!

Now we just need Rachel and Slade's book!!

Do yourself a favor and read So.Bad. It's a quick read that will become a favorite!

No matter how the boy is bad it has a heart of gold!!
I thought Danny's dad was a hypocrite, those religious people who pray for the sinners and bumps his fist against his chest but to be a fucking perve!?
When he took the doll to Mo, I suspected he was putting a camera but to catch them on the act and use it against them and not be...*shudders* I can't even say it!!
Danny should've said something immediately! About the cameras but he's our hero and saved the day!!
It was a story to fall in love with and Danny, cuz hot damn woman, those scenes...woo. *Whispers* let me just say the hubs might not sleep tonight ;-)
I recommend 100%

I was given an ARC of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review!

This book was short and sweet.

The perfect amount of sexy and drama.

A hot male lead who was a bit stupid (as all guys can be) but not too douchebag-y

And a sassy female lead who wasn't so annoying that it makes you want to hurl your kindle at a wall (which is the case alot of the time - and tbh most of us girls read these books for the hot guy not the girl, right?! )

This book, though a work of fiction, will serve as another reminder not to trust "televangelists" hahaha

This is the first book I've read by this author, but I'll definitely be one-clicking her other works! ♥

If you are looking for a hot read with substance than this is it. I loved it. Danny is a bad boy but when you learn more about him you may change your mind. Mo finds herself drawn to him but is disgusted at the manwhore.Following Mo and Danny is not what I expected and I liked that. This was a bit refreshing and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

An honest ARC reader review:

Kelley has delivered yet another 5 star book! Danny and Mo are a refreshing read from start to finish for any adult reader. With both a sense of humor as well as a deep connection that make you scream for them to be together from the beginning, you can’t help but fall in love with these two from the start.

The beginning portrays Danny as the man-whore that you can’t help but love to hate. You just want to reach in and slap him upside his head! Of course his antics are to upset his father and help him forget his thoughts of Mo, his twin sister’s best friend that he has been attracted to for years. She practically lives under the same roof, albeit the guest house by the pool, his family took her in when she had family issues. His thoughts are that since he can’t have her, he will have every other girl to fill the void. Of course this doesn’t work, his thoughts are still on her, only to everyone else, he appears the typical man-whore, even to Mo.

With Rachel being gone for the summer and her and Danny’s parents being on vacation, all protective barriers to keep their distance are gone. This leave Danny and Mo’s defenses down and the roller coaster ride begins!!! Danny’s lets his guard down with Mo allows herself to trust him for the first time. I love the chemistry these two share, it is one of those couples that you could see yourself friends with in real life.

This book is filled with humor, tenderness, sass, twist, and of course hot sex. Best line ever “I want you more than I’ve wanted any other girl, and that pissed me the f@ck off.” Like I said, you will laugh, cry, be shocked and scream all in one book! Way to go Kelley!!!

Of course, we will all be waiting for book 2 

This is one of those little books that combines taboo themes with steamy sexual awakenings, strong friendships and tragic childhoods.
Mo is living with her BFF's family after having been left alone as a teenager when her mother dies...leaving her to be in an environment where she has to behave in a way fitting for a Minister's family, all while avoiding the advances of her friend's hot brother.
There was a lot of sex in this book...solo as well as coupled...and a dark twist of a perverted secret comes to the surface that shakes the Minister's family values to the core and destroys lives.
Mo and Danny lost the battle they are fighting to stay away from each other and it is only after a surprise and unexpected event occurs, that they realize how deep their committment to each other really is..the manwhore has changed his ways and it is a big surprise to all involved.
I enjoyed this quick read and would recommend it for the perfect beach/vacation diversion...lots of romance, intrigue and some family angsty drama that will warm the heart and make you smile.

'Nuff said about this ninety-nine center. Really wasn't for me. I need a little more storyline and character building with my porn.

**A gifted copy was provided by the publisher for my honest review****

Wow, this is such a great great READ! Danny- he is such a skirt chaser, it’s not funny. Danny comes from a pretty rich family and they are super religious. He loves the ladies, loves to seduce women into his bed until he meets this one girl who makes him sit up and take notice—Mona.
Mona is such an innocent, lovely sweet girl. She is his twin’s best friend and he sees her and all he wants is her. There is a reason Danny acts the way he does. OMG and the twists and turns that abound throughout this story kept me on the edge of my seat—There are secrets within secrets and there is betrayal but Danny and Mona have each other. I loved how alpha Danny is with Mona(Mo) He grew a set and was determined to prove himself . Mona came to see the light-- The ending was awesome and so fantastic –but now, now I need a story written for Rachel and Slade. I haven’t heard of author Kelley Harvey before but now, I will keep my eye out for her, especially after reading this book.

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

4 star Review - So Bad (Bad Boy Next Door) by Kelley Harvey

Kelley Harvey is a new author to me. Mo is left all alone in the world when her mother dies. Her best friend Rachel’s family take her in. Like a lot of families, they have secrets.

Danny is Rachel’s older brother and knows he can’t have Mo, so he sleeps around and is in essence a man whore. Mo is attracted to him but knows she shouldn’t be.

Mo is shocked when Danny starts to take an interest in her. Both of them fight their mutual attraction but to no avail.

Mo is a good woman and Danny is so bad…

This story is ultimately about the trials, tribulations and tests Mo and Danny have to go through to reach their happily ever after. When these two finally got together the sex was smoking hot and sizzled.

I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Kelley Harvey. I do hope that there are plans to give Rachel and Slade their story too.

I received this book from the author in trade for a honest review. I had not read any of Kelley Harvey's books prior to SO. BAD. but am hooked on her works. She draws a reader into the story as if you are part of it and can't get enough of it. The only draw back of SO.BAD. is it had to end.

The sexual tensions early in the book, reminds me of what it is like to have a crush on someone and you think it is not mutual. Danny and Mo both have yearned to be with each other but for reasons Mo knows nothing about, it isn't to be. Or is it?

The twists and turns that play out and the sizzling sex and love affair will keep you coming back for more. Learning to trust, then with a strange turn of events, doubting that trust, is so well written, you won't see it coming.

I would and will recommend this book to everyone I know and to those I don't.
