I spent the majority of my wayward youth knuckle-deep inside one spellbook or another. From my early exploits in a cult to my later adult exploration of my loose pagan tribe, I have been exposed to various systems of magick in one path or another. My tribulations, successes, triumphs, and utter failures have been predicated solely based on my personal experience, revelation and insight given the, frankly, sad state of metaphysical education in this, our so-called rational age. I have read countless how-tos, where-tos, who-and-so-forths and beginner primers in my life. It wasn’t until I read Geoff Gray-Cobb’s New Avatar Power that I found an easy to use system that changed my life and my fundamental understanding of energy, psychic phenomena, and whatever other noun you want to use to label the mysteries of life.
I know, you’re also probably wondering why I bring that up. Drawing on the ease, and I hope, drawing on the inspiration from such a book, Damon Brand and the GoM have created a fantastic, easy-to-use book on the most elusive of subjects. Finance. From level-headed ideas on the idea of magick being an addition, rather than a substitution, for financial issues, the GoM has made the first easy-to-follow book that any aspiring mage can use to transform his own spiritual financial issues.
I don’t want to make this a debate about the effectiveness of magick. I just have to say, as a practitioner of many years, never before have I read a book so easily digestable, so smart about its subject matter, and so honestly effective. Highly recommend spending the money on this, as it was the smartest financial decision I’ve ever made (asides from reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad.) Don’t misunderstand me: don’t go into this expecting all your money troubles to be fixed instantaneously. It’s work, hard work, and it requires dedication on all fronts. Magickal Riches is merely a pathway into the future you deserve.
And there’s a section on emotional energy which, honestly, I’d never before read in print. It really amplified my own personal revelations about the nature of channeling magick.
