I am an avid student of yoga. I once told my favorite yoga instructor that I get sad whenever I hear her say the words "Prepare your blankets for savasana," because I know the class is almost over.

This is how I felt when I finished a poem in this book, flipped to the next page, and I saw, "Thank you for reading Depth Perception! I hope you enjoyed it." I didn't want to already be at the end of the book. I wanted more!

I really enjoyed the poetry in this book. It is all personal and bravely bares the gentle soul of the author. One of my favorites is Click Me, which evokes the feeling of desire and longing for it. It is rare for a poem to conjure up a feeling in me like that. I'm looking forward to reading more of Paula's poetry.
