This starts out as a reasonable urban fantasy, told in first person by a guy who is a grizzly bear shifter and with his family runs an adventure hotel in Alaska, great idea. He meets a scared waif who claims to be twenty, and takes her to the family home, gets her a bed and food and a shower, with the intention of just doing the right thing and letting her go. However, she keeps having panic attacks which make her jump up and run off. Maybe she's an antelope shifter and doesn't know it. We see some of her point of view.
I would give this better marks if it went somewhere but it just sets up for the story and stops. So far it is readable by teens. Continued in part two, but would you bother if it is just going to be continued in part three? The tale is also just half the length of the download I got, as a short story is appended. If I got the whole story in one read I would consider reading it but not in fragments.

Wild: Part 1 by Vivi Anna is a Paranormal Romance Short. It says on Goodreads and Amazon it is 95 pages, but half of that is actually an entirely different story. I will tell you now, the only reason I gave this 2 stars is that the writing is well executed. No typos. However, it needed blue pencil to take out chapters of repetitiveness and wasted words. The 1st chapter is the best. The rest was honestly boring.
This is the type of serial shorts that made me want to NOT read them!
Here is the low down;
Wild: Part 1 Says 95 pages, but the story is about 40 pages. The rest is an entirely different story.
Cost .99 on Amazon
Wild: Part 2 Says 108 pages on Amazon, 97 pages on Goodreads. Half of it is an entirely different story.
Cost 1.99 on Amazon
Wild: Part 3 Says 55 pages. I saw no mention of a second story.
Cost 2.99 on Amazon
So 6$ to read a story that is about 100 to 110 pages total.
I don't know about you, but when I spend 6 dollars on a book I want it to rock my world. I want it to keep me enraptured.
This did not do that. I will not be reading anymore of this series. I am doubtful I will be reading anything else by this author. I don't understand what makes this series so expensive.
So Not Worth It.

I was given an ARC by the author for an honest review

The only reason this story gets 4 stars is because when i was hooked and really into the story i faced a cliff hanger not once...but twice!


Fast paced story with a nice plot that hooks you up and when it turns intresting its over!

Damn Cliff hangers!!!

i really liked this story and the characters though in the beginning it was a bit confusing with all the names.

Its witty,with enough amount of action,stress and sex and a clif hanger to the right point.

I can't wait to read more!!!!!

The awesome part is that it includes a bonus story!!!!

A fast paced story that is really well written but leaves us with a huge cliff hanger.


Action packed with steamy Alpha male and hot sex!

I really can't wait to see what will happen next.

5/5 Bear-lovin' stars!



Weeee! Finally a good fantastic were-bear book I can get through and actually enjoy without wanting to snap my kindle in half like a two-buck bunch of celery! Everything about this one just fit so well. This one snatches you in right from the start and doesn't let go until the very cliffhanger end. The plus side to this book being in parts was that I finished the first part in one night without sacrificing much of my precious sleep. The down side is that I'm left starving for more. Oh well, looks like the next ones are already out either way. ;) From the enviable setting to the backstory of the characters, I'm feeling hooked for good. Can't wait to see where this one goes!

This book is oh so amazing!. The characters are Awesome!. You have super sexy Bear shifters!. Alex is a Bear shifter him and his family run a adventure camp in Northern British Columbia Wilds. One day he and his Brother Riley were setting up the boat for new clients coming in. When Alex runs across a stowaway A young woman who looks like she has been through a lot!. Sylvie does not remember a lot that has happened to her. She just knows she is hiding from someone. Alex feels sorry for her and offers to help her even though Riley warns him against it. Riley seems to be proven right when Sylvie steels Alex's truck lol. You will love this sweet,touching,funny, and suspenseful story!!!. This is a must read book!.

It's kind of hard to write a full review at this point because it's the first part of a book, and so I can't say anything about how the author ties everything up in the end. So far it's got promise. The heroine is damaged in a realistic way from just having escaped from a psychopath, who apparently is another shifter. The hero is a bear shifter billionaire. Yes, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this sub-genre. Yes, billionaire bear shifters are a thing, y'all.

The short review - the first part of the story is an easy enjoyable read, and I look forward to the next part coming out. Warning - does end on a cliffhanger.

I was given an ARC for an honest review. Great start, can't wait to read more. Alex is a wereBear, he and his family run an adventure resort far from any cities. While prepping for an upcoming event, Alex finds Sylvie hiding out on his boat. Sylvie isn't quite sure what she is running from. She is getting bits and pieces of her memories. After stealing Alex's truck and him running her down she goes back to the resort with them. Alex is determined to do what is right by Sylive. Cliffhanger!! Hope they get their HEA!!!. Can't wait to finish their story and read more about Alex's brothers!

In this quick read we meet Alex as he finds Sylvie hiding on his boat. It is quickly clear the Sylvie is terrified of something, but even she can't fully remember what she is running from. Alex thinks Sylvie is his mate, but she is too afraid of everything and he does not think he can tell her yet. This is part one of a three book series and with the cliffhanger this ended on, I think I have to get book two and see if everything turns out ok for all involved.

This series started out with a bang. So much mystery as to who or what is chasing Sylvie. She has a lot of pain and secrets and I am anxious to read how her story plays out. Alex is a bear shifter and although he seems tough he also seems the complete opposite toward Sylvie. Definitely can't wait to read what happens next

Very nice read Alex Torben and his family run an adventure park, they love their privacy. Sylvie is on the run and it is a mystery who she is running from. She gets caught hiding in Alex's boat and instead of turning her in he takes her and gives her protection. The book is fast paces and well written. First... I hate cliffhanger books.... that being said - I liked this short story enough I have to read the other parts now. The story of Alex and Sylvie is a mystery..and at the end of this Part 1, you are hooked!!! There are gaps in some of it, but not enough to detract from the story. I will be hunting down the rest!!! There better not be too many... ha!

Read this episode in the book "Oh Canada". A book of stories about supernaturals. Wild is a wonderful story of fear and love. The worst thing is it is one story over 3 books.
