The child gets "punished" rather than disciplined for accidents and carelessness more than being purposely destructive.

I loved these books as a kid and I still think they’re a brilliant series that can’t be extremely useful own teaching some very difficult lessons.

Such a great book for kids and adults to read together!! Joy Berry has a wonderful way of bringing things to a kids level to help them understand things better. Sometimes as an adult we forget kids see and process the world differently than us.

Beautifully illustrated to help kids pay attention while learning valuable life lessons!

This series is wonderful for any home or classroom! I want them for he community center where I work!! I am also thrilled they are being made available as ebooks!!

This is an entertaining book in the Help Me Be Good series that teaches children about ethical and moral themes.

I thought that this was an engaging story about conserving resources and not being destructive. The narrative is short and easy to read aloud and the illustrations are colorful and cartoonish, if a bit dated.

A good little book from the series. I do wish, though, that the stuff about punishment wasn't worded that way. Thinking about these things as logical consequences makes far more sense. Instead the book frames them squarely as punishments, but I suppose kids understand anyway, especially if this is explained.

Excellent read!

My kids love these books just as much as I did as a child. This books helps them to understand the different ways they can be destructive, including being careless.
