In 2007, The Movie went viral with its conspiracy theories and wild claims about Christianity, 9/11, and the banking system. In The Farce, Albert McIlhenny has collected some essays he has written that place the section of the film on Christianity (and its major influences) under the microscope and notes how the claims were based upon bogus claims made by crank authors and occultists over a century ago. The supposed evidence is so utterly ridiculous that we could all laugh about it were not it so influential with the "internet generation." The essays (and appendices) contained here should put the damper on even the most determined Zeitgeist supporter. This e-book is part of the series A Christian Response to Jesus Mythicism that counters the thesis, popularized through films such as Zeitgeist and books by Earl Doherty, Tom Harpur, Richard Carrier, D. M. Murdock (aka “Acharya S”), and many others, that Jesus never existed. While this view is not taken seriously by scholars, it has entered the popular culture through sensationalistic books, films, and websites. In this series, various aspects of the mythicist viewpoint are subjected to a thorough critique and the bogus nature of their claims exposed for all to see. ______________________________The contents of the book are as IntroductionIntroduction1.
