An absolutely captivating read! I truly enjoyed reading True North and escaping into the world that Tabs is thrown into. Winter does an excellent job of immersing her readers in rich details of the story with plot twists that definitely left me wanting more. I had the pleasure of chatting with her the day after I finished reading the book (past my bedtime – I really could not put it down). I loved seeing her passion for the characters and for the entirety of what will become The Elementals. I am eagerly and impatiently awaiting the next installments and to experience the development of this very entertaining and well written story. One of the toughest choices I made this summer was deciding which key I wanted! It is obvious that a lot of thought and hard work has been devoted to this series – for the readers! I sincerely urge you to read and fall in love with this book like I did.

I just finished reading this and really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting cultural references that are well researched.
Reminded me a bit of "American Gods" by Gaiman crossed with Percy Jackson author Rick Riordan.
