Playing for Keeps continues the story of sexy billionaire bad boy Hunter Montgomery, who rose to baseball superstardom in The Catch. His worst nightmare? Strings. He'd rather die than to be tied down to a desk, a suit, and a tie as an executive at Montgomery Oil, the generations-old family business. He loves his family, but Hunter has always wanted to break away from the Montgomery traditions and forge his own path.

He thought he had that chance when he broke into the major leagues as a centerfielder for his hometown Dallas Coyotes. He loved the superstar lifestyle, but it all came crashing down sooner than he ever thought it would.

Closing down bars, taking a different girl home every night -- that had been his life as a ballplayer. He was desperate to experience that high again -- to know that he could run free wherever and with whoever he wanted. So, when he got offered a job as a baseball scout, he figured it was the perfect way to relive some of his old glory.

What he didn't count on, though, was a beautiful woman coming into his life.

Hunter doesn't necessarily hate the thought of settling down, but he hates the thought of settling. All of the other girls weren't worth it. But this one, she just might be the curveball who can bring the hot billionaire back down to earth forever.

This hot novella contains adult situations and explicit content, so it's best-suited for an audience that's 18+.

Playing for Keeps is the thrilling conclusion to The Catch, a hot novella that combines sexy spice with a shocking twist at the end. Playing for Keeps is also the fourth story of the Sexy Billionaire Bad Boy Series that chronicles the Montgomerys, Texas' richest oil family.

Author. Dreamer. Entrepreneur.

That's how Jessica Kelly describes herself. Just like the main character in her first book, Trick Play, Jessica believes that hard work is the key to success. Luckily, though, creating new characters and new plot twists doesn't feel like work to her! Jessica has always had a passion for writing, and she has dreamed of becoming a successful author for more years than she can count.

So what about the "Entrepreneur" part?

That proves just how serious Jessica is about turning her dream into reality. Her goal isn't to write a book or two in her spare time. Instead, she's focused on building a successful writing career from the ground up. She's not content to JUST have a dream. She's willing to do whatever it takes to make it come true.

Jessica began living the dream the moment she started writing Trick Play. When she's not dreaming up new story ideas, this native Floridian can be found spending quality time with friends and family, soaking up the sun on the beach, and -- of course -- reading.

In my opinion Hunter still acted a bit spoiled in this book. He was still sleeping around with different women, but expecting different results. When he met Taylor he did change and he was faithful and proved he had some redeeming qualities. The Rick twist definitely puts a spin on things. My biggest problem with this story was when they break up Hunter automatically went back to his immature playboy ways and started drinking and then slept with the stripper. I didn't necessarily agree with how Taylor handled the job offer, but he went off the deep end. I honestly would have questioned it more if I was Taylor instead of just taking him back. I did like the fact that Hunter cleaned up his act prior to the drama coming to a head and the fact that his first thought was of Taylor! Can't wait to read more of the Montgomery Boys.

Whoa....I'm really disappointed in this book. Both Hunter and Taylor are immature children.

Seems unprotected sex with a stripper wasn't enough either...note to author....write the word condom because this just made me sick to think about.
