It managed to be funny and light, and sad at times (while touching some serious problems children my encounter in their lives). I loved the how level-headed was the protagonist, it was like a breath of fresh air after being used to a more typical young girl from shojo genre.

Language was pretty easy and stories not so complicated, so a good book if someone's starting to read in Japanese.
