The Headcovering in Worship

Rate this book
Taking into account much of the existing research on the subject, David J. Lipsy provides a simple and straightforward explanation of 1 Cor. 11:1-16, to show that women’s use of head coverings has biblical precedent. He addresses questions regarding the nature of the head covering itself, whether it is only a cultural consideration, and its relation to public worship.

Despite being already convicted on the subject of head coverings for women in worship, I nevertheless found this book extremely insightful when it comes to the more nuanced arguments on the topic. I found Rev. Lipsy’s defence and explanation of the verses of 1 Corinthians to be very thorough, well-researched, and easily understood. For those wondering about the arguments for or against head coverings, this book is an excellent resource to read.
