My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***Received the ebook for an honest review

The cover is hot, and I’m glad the same models are on this cover :)

This is the 2nd book in the series, and while you do not have to read them in order, I think you will enjoy it more if you did :) My suggested reading order is Her Two Bears, then Tigers Tango, and then Double Trouble. There is a crossover, and I was glad I accidently read Tigers Tango before reading this one :) I’m going to have to pay more attention to see which book crossover and connect :) This is for adults only due to the very steamy content with the trio (no M/M stuff, Sadie is the focus). It is of novella length.

Sadie and Peyton are having a major adventure though I can’t say that I’d like to switch places with them. They are strong and feisty!! Danger galore, Sadie is clueless at the start but Peyton has her back, and some major steamy scenes with Sadie and her bears. I do hope Peyton gets a story soon :) This story was packed with adventure, and I enjoyed it!.

I recommend this story to shifter lovers especially if you already love Catherine’s work :)

I really like reading this book, Sadie is all excited because this was the day she would be with her two loves,  introducing her to the family.
Not only were her lovers police officers, Dane and Jackson were Alpha's to the Bear Shifters Clan. Technically this was Sadie's wedding day, which is the happiest day of her life, but the Bear Clan didn't do weddings it was an introduction into the clan. Payton, her best friend was helping her get ready, doing her hair and helping put on her white dress on, to the girls it was Sadie's wedding day. It all went great but the next day the boy's went to investigate a problem, so both Sadie and Payton decided to go to the mall. The girls were having a great time and than!!
I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

Sadie is in paradise she has her two bears all to herself and life is going as planned until...

Sadie realizes something is going on and Jackson and Dane are keeping it very hush hush. Sadie knows she can not know everything but still feels left out.

What's a girl to do when she's down and out? Go shopping with her bestie of course! What starts as a day of R&R turns into the craziest day ever when a manic takes her hostage.

Will Dane and Jackson get there in time or will they lose their one true mate? Read and find out!

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review.

This book was really good. I was reading it like I was watching an "A" list action packed movie. Catherine Vale did a great job creating this tale making sure that she built the story up at a good pace so that the story did not feel rushed.

This is the first book that I have read in this series and I was left feeling very satisfied. Great job!

I just finished reading 'Double Trouble' & I was instantly drawn into the story. I realised after I started that it was the 2nd book in "Her Two Bears" series, but I was able to understand what was happening without having read book 1, but I will add it to my TBR.

Sadie is getting ready for her mating ceremony, to her bears Dane & Jackson, making the two packs become united. Everything goes off without a hitch, but the following day after a bit of shopping...

What's a story without a bit of action?? especially from Catherine... I was waiting patiently reading the start & then POW the action kicks in, keeping you in suspense wondering what is going to happen... I loved this book, the action, suspense, heat, love... all roled into a quick intriguing story.

I got this story in exchange for an honest review. I haven’t read the first part, but certainly plan to. As always, Catherine Vale delivers a solid story with some great action and deliciously hot scenes thrown in for added measure! The main female character and her best friend find themselves in a world of trouble when a maniac kidnaps them and threatens their lives as part of his plan for getting away from the area. But, as always, the best laid plans. . .I don’t like giving away too much in my reviews, but we’ll just say that it works out better for some than others.

I enjoyed this book. It was out of my comfort zone of what I usually read. I appreciated that it was vanilla menage and a well-balanced relationship between 3 people, who love and respect each other. It had all the great earmarks of well-written romance ("will they or won't they" moments, a break up fueled by past hurts, and a sweet reunion) with a few peppered scenes of suspense. The author is extremely talented and I look forward to reading more by her. I wish I could do a 95% star and make it 4.95 stars. That little take off is to mention a very few very minor errors, where the story had repeated paragraphs, and the occasional person shift (ie 3rd to 1st same sentence). The only tiny negative I can see in the book, that doesn't change my review of 4.95 stars is the character description is vague. I have trouble picturing our lovers and their community. When I read, the movie version plays in my head and fine line between too much information and too little must be walked. I had trouble seeing the movie and the characters are well-rounded personality wise, but they lacked physical form. Again, this changes almost nothing for me. All-in-all, I loved this book and would recommend it highly. In fact, I would love to read Peyton and Alex's story. I feel if this isn't a series, then it should be. Great Job, Catherine Vale!

Sadie really comes into her own in this second half of the story. Her Drama Queen tendencies are set aside in favor of anything that will keep her and Peyton safe. This was where I could understand why she’s special enough to be the mate to two alphas. I was a little confused by the way the end of the book needed to keep rehashing the steps Dane and Jackson had to take in order to end the situation; I’m baffled by why we needed to have Sadie’s thought process in coming to terms with their actions explained so many times

Great read

Sadie, Jackson and Dane will bring you so much joy. This book was awesome. Sadie is set up on a blind date with these two men. She doesn’t know what to think about it but she goes and she has a fabulous time. I’m getting to know them, she has to open her eyes to the unknown. Jackson and Dane will do anything to keep her. Awesome writing with an explosive storyline.

No trouble with this double

Might have to give supernatural stories a break for a while. I've ODed on them of late.

Storyline didn't flow as smoothly as it could have. Language was simplistic and story arc peak was bottom heavy.

Review for DOUBLE TROUBLE : HER TWO BEARS
The story opens with the commitment ceremony for Sadie, and her two bears shifters, Jackson and Dane. A perfect day for the perfect mates. What should have been the start of a wonderful, although short honeymoon, comes to a halt when Dane and Jackson are called into work. Both are police officers and there has been another fire. Not one to sit and fret, Sadie and her bff, Peyton, head to the mall for some shopping. Sadie for household goods and Peyton for clothes. While getting a quick bite to eat at the food court, someone bumps into Sadie but she ignores it. When Peyton brings it to her attention, Sadie still thinks nothing of it. But when Peyton notices someone, the guy who ran into Sadie to be exact, following them, they both start to worry. While Peyton tries to lose the guy in traffic, Sadie’s calls to Jackson and Dane go to voicemail. Thinking they have lost the guy with Peyton’s maneuvers, they head back to Sadie’s. But when the nut job shoots Peyton and runs them off the road, they know they are in deep trouble. What started out as a casual shopping trip has now turned into a kidnapping. Not having any idea where the guy has taken them, Sadie is not sure how they are going to be saved or even found, and it doesn’t help that Peyton needs medical attention right now. When Jackson and Dane finally do find them, all does not go as planned. The guy who took them is not going to go gently. When the rescue takes a dangerous turn, and Sadie sees and hears it all, she gets a glimpse into the dangerous part of their job. Is that something she can accept or will her nightmares and fears be too much for them?? As Sadie comes to a realization about herself and her mates, something very important becomes crystal clear to her…something she wasn’t aware of before…but something that will surely impact their lives.

Double Trouble: Her Two Bears: Book 2Catherine Vale

This is Part 2, not Book 2, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this story which was more crime than paranormal romance.

'Double Trouble' is listed as book 2 of Her Two Bears by Catherine Vale, who is a new author for me and I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I've read by Catherine Vale, and I really enjoyed the story, although I was confused about where it began. I was expecting a paranormal romance where the main characters met, formed a relationship and moved on to the happily ever after. What I got was a story that begins a month after they mated, on the day of Sadie, Jackson and Dane's official Mating Ceremony, and is more about an arsonist on the run who kidnaps Sadie along with her best friend Peyton, and the bear's rescue of their mate and her BFF from the hands of the psycho criminal. It was a good story, which I thoroughly enjoyed for what it was. But there was no background for Sadie and only a little about her mates. It was only after I finished reading that I discovered 'Double Trouble' is actually Part 2 of a two part story, and not the second book in the series. It didn't affect my opinion of what I read, but had I known that it was part 2 and not book 2, I might have got more out of it by reading part 1 first, not least an explanation as to why they have separate bedrooms, which struck me as really peculiar, as well as the background on all the characters and how they got to this point in the story. Despite that, it was an enjoyable read and even without reading part 1, it is worthy of 4 stars. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

Double the Trouble, twice the lovin’

As a preface to this review, note that I haven’t read the first book in the series, Her Two Bears. But that’s okay because Double Trouble easily stands alone. When I first picked up the book and saw its short novella length I was worried that I was perhaps picking up from a cliff hanger in a previous story. This is so not the case thank goodness. I’m really not much for serials and cliff hangers. I much prefer getting the whole story in one sitting. So while this story isn’t so much about the courtship of the main characters its more about the abiding depth of love they have for one another.

The tale begins with the mating ceremony of Sadie, Jackson and Dane. It’s very clear that Sadie is the glue which cements the two clans into one. Unusual as it might be the two alphas have chosen to rule together over the new clan. In the background of their celebration is the unease of an ongoing case involving an arsonist. The case doesn’t remain in the background long though. The guys are called out to a new fire in the early hours of the morning. Sadie decides it’s a great opportunity for her and her best friend, Peyton to go shopping for much needed linens at the local mall. Of course by the time they gain a stalker, things start hopping and the pace of the story really picks up. Their stalker/kidnapper is one violent batshiz crazed shifter. Although short and sweet this story was very complete and definitely had its HEA. I’m looking forward to seeing what else Ms. Vale has to offer. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Let me start by saying that though this book is book 2 in the series you can read it as a standalone and not feel lost. I for one have not read book 1, but do have plan going back later and reading it. I had no issues what so ever keeping up. Catherine did an amazing job letting you know who the characters were and what was going on.

I liked Sadie. She is this beautiful plus size woman and she is having a mating ceremony with 2 bear shifters by the name of Jackson and Dane. Sadie knows she is the glue that will bond these two clans together. Jackson and Dane are just amazing and deeply in love with Sadie. There is nothing they will not do for her.

Sadie has this best friend by the name of Peyton. I loved Peyton. She was feisty, alert, and very skilled. Peyton had noticed this strange guy at the mall and now this guy was following them. Peyton tried her best to lose the tail. But the guy ended up finding them anyway and kidnapping them.

You know Jackson and Dane had to be going crazy when and if they realize that Sadie is missing. Jackson and Dane both work for the police department, so if Sadie’s car is found then they would be informed. Problem is can they get to Sadie in time before this mad man kills her and Peyton? Can Sadie come up with a way to escape?

There is a few surprises in this book. If you love shifter books then you will love this one. I can assure you that Catherine Vale does not disappoint.

GRIPPING SUSPENSE!

Double Trouble: Her Two Bears-Book 2-Series are fantastic because you get acquainted with and adore all the awe-inspiring characters, and the characters in this series are potent, sultry, and exhilarating.....

The story features Sadie, a curvaceous, beautiful mate to Jackson and Dane two strappy, sexy, gorgeous bear shifters, alpha joint pack leaders and cops; Peyton Sadie's best girlfriend.

A GIRLS' DAY OUT SHOPPING TURNS INTO A NIGHTMARE!!

The cast of characters are believable, impressive and engaging, the banter superb, scene descriptions are thrilling and vivid, story-line fabulous, pent-up rage escalates, emotions spiral, life threatening incidents, camaraderie, heart-wrenching moments, gripping suspense, passion and romance.

INCREDIBLE fast paced exhilarating well written read by a gifted author. The fusion of authenticity and fantasy make the story fierce and impressive. A most gratifying read and I loved it from start to finish. If you enjoy shifter stories with suspense and romance; this is definitely a terrific book and series for your library. In the world of shifter romance the possibilities are illimitable but always fascinating. {I received an arc for a thoroughly veracious review}. Without reservations I highly recommend this book and the series...

I enjoyed the book very much, yet I got the impression it was gonna go in a completely different direction. I thought it would've been more about Sadie trying to help Jackson and Dane merge their clans. But, the whole crazy kidnapper/arsonist/would be murderer came out of no where. I think Faull should have just taken his chances on trying to escape. He, instead chose to run Sadie and Peyton off the road, shoot poor Peyton and then tie them up and take them to some rundown cabin. He expected an easy abduction of Sadie, but her friend Peyton gained her some time with her Nascar-like extreme driving. That's my kinda gal, by the way. But, I was glad when the guys arrived when they did, things were getting kinds creepy and Peyton might not have made it out alive. At the beginning of the book before the mating ceremony, Sadie was describing Jackson and Dane and how she felt about them, But towards the ending after the abduction Sadie realized the depth of their feelings for her, by the fact that they would do anything for her, to protect her, that they would kill for her. That must have been a very heady feeling to know that she was loved that deeply by Jackson and Dane, which then led to a happy ending for all three.

After reading the first book I was in love with Dane and Jackson. I couldn't wait to learn more about their mating with Sadie and see what lay in store for them. I was not disappointed at all. This book is great. It is packed with love between Sadie and her bears. They have their mating ceremony and Sadie is one lucky woman to have two sexy gorgeous men that want only her. But life doesn't always go as planned when her men must cut the honeymoon short and go look for an arsonist that has set another fire. When the psychotic arsonist kidnaps Sadie and her best friend Peyton I was holding my breath. He was going to use Sadie as his ticket out of the country. But Sadie's mates Dane and Jackson and Peyton's mate Alex will stop at nothing to find them before it's too late. The love that they have for each other just leaps from the pages. I can't tell you anymore because I don't want to spoil it for you. I really hope there is another book coming. You definitely need to read this. It can be read alone but to get the whole feel for the series I would suggest reading the first book before this one.
I received this book as a gift from the author for my honest review.

Sadie had a pretty commitment ceremony and she was ready for her honeymoon. After a wonderful night her boys were rushed to work because the fire starter maniac was in the loose doing his worst again. Sadie and Peyton went shopping and they were followed, shot and taken from the road. They were kidnapped by the guy that set the fires! Peyton was in bad shape and Sadie didn’t know what to do but their saviors came and things were horrible and pretty disturbing for Sadie. She needed to think about her future with her boys and how what happened out there could affect their relationship. She was afraid that she cannot dealt with her boy’s job and what they have to do. But reason gives ways and after thinking and evaluate the facts she could understand how love works. Liked how Sadie enlightened herself. She could clarify her doubts and get real about what the boys were offering to her. The story was short but direct to the action with a good dose of suspense, reflection and of course, steamy sex with two sexy bear shifters.

I was happy to see Jackson, Dane and Sadie again. This story picks up from book one and the happy threesome is settling in together and working out the kinks. However, nothing is every easy and Peyton and Sadie get caught in between Jackson and Danes work setting off a whole new set of problems. This was an easy to follow, storyline complete with characters we already love. Even though Sadie understood the whole shifter thing I don't think it really hit home until this part of the story. She still had some issues to resolve, understand and overcome and she had some personal character development time in this installment. I would label it something along the lines of a "Come to Jesus" moment. As always her sidekick Peyton was involved and always makes thing fun and interesting. I do hope Peyton and Alex get their own story that is sure to be another fun and exciting read. I look forward to seeing these characters again and would recommend Ms. Vale's books to anyone who likes shifter stories.

What a fun fun story to read!!! Love it!

Sadie is getting to marry her loves, two that is, her own bears, Jackson and Dane. She completes them and they do her. Nothing could go wrong, it was the perfect day, everything was set. Shortly after the wedding, Jackson and Dane are called away to their job as cops, to hear another fire has been set in the community.

Sadie and her best friend Peyton decide to go shopping for the day when they catch someone following them, it's the same man from the mall. While trying to get away from the car, they end up crashing it and going over an embankment. Sadie is trying to get out when the guy comes down and points a gun in her face. They are coming with him, Sadie is his ticket out of this place.

Will Jackson and Dane come to their rescue? Will they catch the person starting the fire? Well you are going to have to read the book to find out.

Great fun read!! I was gifted this book through Instafreebie.com from the author for an honest review..

Double Trouble(Her Two Bears #2) -Catherine Vale

Sadie's special day has eventually arrived, she's married her two sexy bears. It's been a perfect day, spent with friends and clan members. But soon reality kicks in, and Dane and Jackson have to return to work. On a day out, Sadie and Peyton are kidnapped by a maniac. He wants out of the shifter life and they are his ticket. But he doesn't count on Sadie's two mates stopping at nothing to get the love of their lives back.

I loved this book. A nice easy read and easy to get into, really enjoyable. I loved the characters, they were sweet and likable and had great chemistry. I loved Dane, Sadie and Jackson's relationship, they balanced each other out and it was uncomplicated. This book has action, lots of humor and some hot bear loving. It was fast paced but kept your interest throughout the book. Loved it!

A heartwarming ménage romance, between 2 BFF co-Alpha bear shifters and their fated (human) mate, this novella was surprisingly filled with intrigue & danger, as well as mating ceremonies & fated mate bonding.
The heroine, Sadie, has come to understand & accept the importance of her bonding with both of her Alphas. And then, in the midst of enjoying her “honeymoon” period, she and her best friend are kidnapped and Sadie is held as a bargaining chip by a deranged arsonist. Both Dane & Jackson will do whatever it takes to secure Sadie’s safety … both as officers of the law and as bears!
The author has written this second book in the Her Two Bears series in such a way that it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. But, I will definitely be checking out the first book in this series, as well as waiting anxiously for the next!
Perhaps the mystery of who the unknown “companions” were, who abandoned the arsonist, and the reasons for the fire will be solved in Book 3?

Sadie is finally marring her two mates, Jackson and Dane. Both alphas of the clan. After a beautiful wedding and heading off for a few days together. Jackson and Dane receive calls that another fire. They have been trying to catch the one responsible for awhile now. Sadie figured with the guys gone she would call her best friend Peyton and head to the mall for some much needed shopping. Peyton notices a man that comes up behind Sadie and then the same man is following them home. When the man shoots at time and runs them off the road. Peyton is injured and the man kidnaps them both. Can they be found in time.

This is the second book in the series. Love Sadie, I was so happy she finally gets her wedding. Where Sadie is more laid back, Peyton is feisty and has no problem saying what she thinks. Jackson and Dane both alphas and sexy bear shifters will do anything to protect Sadie and keep her safe. I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In Double Trouble, Catherine Vale's second book of the Her Two Bears series Sadie is making it official. She is mated to two wonderful alpha bears. Dane and Jackson have been friends forever, deputies in law enforcement and even share the job of alpha for their clans. Once they officially mate Sadie the clans well become one.
Unfortunately, their job gets in the way of the honeymoon. A crazed arson shifter with no where to run kidnaps Sadie and her best friend Peyton. Scared for herself and her friend Sadie doesn't know what to do. She prays her two bears will find them in time to save them. Peyton is hurt and Sadie can't help her.
The suspense and love throughout the story really brings home the characters. I was gifted the book for posting my honest review. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I know the series is Her Two Bears but I really hope Peyton and Alex get their own story soon too. Hint hint Ms. Vale.
