Tweeter, a retired racing Greyhound, must draw on every ounce of courage and strength she posses to face ghosts from her racing past and a fox undergoing a midlife crisis.
The charm of this book is it describes things from the point of view of its heroine, who happens to be a retired racing greyhound. This isn't twee but very realistic because the author gives a clear picture of the dog's world.
Warmly recommended to all greyhound owners who've ever wondered what is going on in their dog's head.
Other animals, like foxes, rabbits, mice and an owl appear too and you get to find out what's going through their minds as well.
This was a Christmas present, and a very welcome one too.
