I have a problem. I’m stuck on a birthday party trip to Paris with my little sister and her four BFFs.

That’s not my problem.

My problem is in the form of my cocky, arrogant, rock star stepbrother, Jagger. He betrayed my trust years ago and I haven’t been able to forgive him ever since.

We’re two different people.

I’m in college and the good girl in every sense of the word. Perfect GPA, perfect group of friends, and worlds apart from my Internet famous stepbrother who’s famously known for breaking hearts and leaving throngs of screaming fans in his wake.

So how can I tell my body to stop going crazy every time we’re together?

And when you’re sharing a room with the hottest man you know in the most romantic city in the world, how can you possibly say no?

When our love threatens to ignite, will we burn up or survive the scandal that’s about to rock both our worlds?

Jessa is too smart to fall for Jagger's charm, or so she thought but she can't stop herself from melting anytime he does something sweet. She knows that falling for him a second time would be more painful than the first time, but the heart wants what the heart wants. She is tired of denying herself what she wants. As things get heated so do their emotions. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction; are Jagger and Jessa strong enough to stay together during their most challenging moment or will they finally give up.

Jagger has always wanted Jessa but he thought he stood no chance. One night in Paris changes everything and when he finally sees his chance he won't let it slip by. He knows that what they could have together would be beautiful, and he wants a chance to show her just how invested he truly is. Sometimes loving someone isn't enough, sometimes the timing is wrong, and sometimes outside forces want to prevent your relationship. How can they possibly survive so many obstacles?

First of all Jagger is the ultimate book boyfriend. He is a rock-star, is hot, has money, and is sweet. My favorite thing about him is how genuine he was. He wasn't the cocky, arrogant, bad boy everyone saw him as. He loved Jessa and no matter how bad things were he always tried to showed her. He constantly risked being rejected and humiliated just so he was certain that Jessa knew how he felt. I love how he prioritized their relationship. Everything about him was so captivating, he was a character that you fall do because he is too real to just be a character.

This book was absolutely perfect. I have to say that is this definitely the best step-brother romance I have ever read. There was so much to love and it was so well thought out. Readers get a perfect view of the past, present, and future. It was a beautiful book that I adored and I am certain all readers who like this genre will as well. It definitely deserved five stars. Even after reading all I can think about is the relationship the characters shared.

The story is about Jessa and Jagger. The story is told from both POV's. Jagger is Jessa's stepbrother and is in a band. Jessa is in college.
Both are being sent to Paris for one week to chaperone their fourteen year old sister and her friends.
It's an unconventional love story about Jessa falling in love with her step brother. However, there was not much emphasis placed on this aspect as there was with Jagger being an upcoming singer in a band. More time was spent dealing with adoring fans, women offering themselves to him, and Jagger getting caught up in the attention. The reason the story back peddled the step brother aspect was because Jessa never considered Jagger family so to her it was semantics. However, their parents thought differently. Yet that part was not dealt with until the end of the book.
The promotional synopsis for the story is misleading. Rather than put emphasis on the story regarding Jagger being Jessa's stepbrother the story focused on him being a rockstar.
The characters spent time touring around Paris. The story focused on Jagger and his rockstar lifestyle. The story focused on Jessa's jealousy over the attention Jagger drew from his female fans.
There are many layers to this story including the fact that Jagger is her stepbrother which gets put on the back burner but the jealousy, avoidance, and fighting are another layer that dominate the story.
Too much emphasis was placed on the step sibling aspect which hardly was addressed. The method used to disclose this fact was breezed over. Too much of the story dealt with Jagger being an upcoming rock star.

description

“Control. I was going to lose it if she kept making those delicious noises, delicate little moans and sighs and the occasional whisper of my name.”

5 sexy, taboo stars! Another hot stepbrother book on the top of my list!! One of my new favorites!

I’ll be the first to admit that the whole step brother theme is getting overdone, but this series is so good, that it may bring me back! Jagger is sexy as h#ll and the storyline is refreshing compared to other stepbrother books! This is a great series and definitely worth the read!! This book is definitely in my top five stepbrother books!

Incredible story. I was waiting for the 3rd book to come out to read the whole series. I am so glad I did. This Series really got me. True love is meant to be! Fate is fate! Jessa and Jagger's love was hindered by lies and miscommunication. I'm so glad there was a happy ending!
