It is rare to find a leadership book that rests on rigorous research and still reads with such ease. Epitome manages both. The archetype framework is clearly the product of deep work, yet it never hides behind theory or jargon. Each archetype is drawn with enough clarity that you recognise it immediately, in yourself and in the people you lead, and the book then carries that recognition through to practical choices about how you show up.Although it is written with women leaders in mind, its insights apply to anyone who holds responsibility for others. The archetypes offer a shared language for conversations that are usually hard to have, about identity, strength, and what we carry into our roles without naming it. That alone makes it valuable for leadership teams, not just individuals. The inclusion of the archetype assessment is a thoughtful touch that turns reading into reflection. This is a book to read once for the ideas and return to for the guidance. Highly recommended for any leader who wants substance without heaviness.
