March 3, 2026An interesting read based on an interesting topic. We live in a world where spiritual illnesses are rampant. A society that has people with bad intentions in all places and so recognising these spiritual afflictions and protecting ourselves is more important than ever. It it just as important looking after our physical health because the two are intertwined.
Was interesting seeing the different types of black magic and the different real life stories that the author includes. Shocking how some people don’t believe in this reality
He also touches on Evil eye at the end. How it’s true, can change Qadr and even cause death. How it’s not actually the eye that affects the afflicted, but the hidden observing soul of the person watching. Theres a strong connection between the soul and the eye.
He touches on Jinn possession. Jinn can only enter human bodies when they are 4 states:
Ghaflah
Indulgence
Extreme anger
Extreme fear
So it’s important to try avoid these states and maintain our remembrances. The jinn are the most vulnerable when they enter, and if a person invokes Allah in that exact moment, they burn.
You learn how the Quran is a cure for everything, both physical and spiritual, but it all depends on your intention and certainty when reciting. Certainty that the verses will cure the affliction. The importance of morning, evening and night remembrances. When leaving and entering the house. Reciting Ayat Al-Kursi….. staying away from Music and sins, being in the state of Wudhu…..
This book shows with many evidences that we have all the weapons and means to protect ourselves established in the Quran and Sunnah but we don’t utilise them..
Regardless of all the evil people and Jinn/Shaytan, nothing can harm without the permission of Allah, so we should never fear anything more than him, and place our full trust in our creator and take the appropriate means to protect ourselves.
Difficult to rate this book. Gives a good overview, but some evidences were pasted several times over and took a lot of space on the pages. Would’ve been nice if there were more reflections on the topic and some parts were fleshed out more.

What amazes me most is that a book like this verifies ( through Quran and Hadith ) that there are sick, evil and twisted people out there that get involved in such horrible rituals - and dark black magic arts ...
I just can't imagine such disgraceful people that do such things exist when you read what takes place for them to implement their evil
... do they not realise what they have sold their souls for? - would the very fact that they do this and think it benefits them not make them shudder and see that if this is true, then the whole world of the unseen - ie God is true and watching too?
I pity such evil and May God protect every good hearted soul from the Evil of Mankind and Shayateen Jinn/Jinni . Ameen

Not a book which I will recommend people to buy against black magic and evil magicians but it OK to read.
The author did a good job talking the differences of black magic in this world. The only issue, it seems like everything is from Jinn. This is where most authors of Islamic exorcism books fail to address.
The book also is full of hadiths, which took too much places on pages. People want originality, references are OK of course but too much things outside to support a claim is annoying.
Reading verses many times when doing exorcism is pointless. A Koranic verse is powerful even by reading once.
The language, phrases, sentences are OK. They are easy to read and chapters are in order, even many facts were not necessary.
Too many Hadiths can create a confusion in terms of authenticity in people minds. I am not saying these hadiths are doubtful in terms of accuracy, but extremely few could be.
The author also listed some experiences in exorcism in the book, well of course, we do not have evidence these happened. They are just examples!
I am giving the book 3 stars as it could be better.
