Paige Summers finds her inner strength to battle through her burdens of taking another person’s life. Standing in her rightful place by Colton’s side, she’s finally holding her own and living her dream of training horses.

Together, Colton and Paige have endured their fair share of obstacles and tragedies, and it has only made them stronger. With Hank Ulrich out of their lives, Colton is determined to make Paige, the girl he’s loved since he was five years old, his wife—forever.

But as one door closes, another opens, and a new danger is lurking in the shadows, threatening to stand in their way.

Will Colton and Paige’s love be endless, the way it was always meant to be? Or will a new devastation fall upon them and ruin their fate?

Review by Lisa Kane

Paige Summers is struggling. She is swimming against the current and most of the time she is drowning. She can not come to terms with what she had to do in order to defend herself and her love, Colton Kingston. She would do it all over again, but nonetheless, she can not wrap her head around it.

I'd killed a man. I'd ended his life without showing him the slightest hint of pity or compassion or mercy.
What kind of person does that make me?

Paige was robbed of her security. First Colton pushed her away in an attempt to keep her safe. No way was she going to let that happen. But after Colton lost everything in the fire (again at the hands of a psycho) he felt he had no other choice. Both have survived, but at what cost?

Paige is self conscious going out in town. Her attacker was well liked and she is afraid that people will believe she killed a man in cold blood. Colton thinks she is being paranoid. But he is soon proven wrong.

"You know, they say she shot him twice. He didn't even have anything to defend himself. The poor guy was murdered, and she's running free."

If it wasn't for their friends from Tahoe, California they would truly be isolated. But Kyle, Jason, Damon and Blake plus their wives come to town to help with the construction Colton is doing to replace all that was lost from the fire. They are Paige and Colton's rocks. They lift them up and keep their spirits high. Well as high as Paige will allow them to go at this point.

Ashlee, Paige's best friend steps in and asks for some help from Paige for her bakery, Lovin' Sweets. It keeps her occupied and more importantly, gets her out of town. But Ashlee is playing some games and Paige isn't exactly sure why she seems to be avoiding the hot guy, Alex that she spent the night with-he's certainly interested enough.

"I told you that was a one-time thing. You should have considered that before you agreed to be with me. I meant what I said. I'm not in the position to date."
"And the second time?" The man's baritone voice dropped an octave. "What was that?"

Hmm...things are about to get interesting

The one thing Paige is grateful for is their security. With Hank gone, at least she and Colton can get on with their lives and not be threatened. Hold on, that's all about to change.

Seems Hank's widow Madeline Ulrich is Paige's worst nightmare. She believes her husband was murdered and she is determined to make Paige pay. Considering she has about a zillion dollars she has all the clout and backing she needs to make their lives miserable and she does. The Wicked Witch of the West has nothing on this woman.

There is a lot of underhandedness going on and most of it was frustrating beyond belief. I could not understand how this small minded town believed so strongly in Hank's innocence and why they were all determined to be as hurtful as possible.

But Colton and Paige have survived just about everything imaginable over these last three books and they will have the last laugh. Their love is strong, they have wills of steel and no one..and I mean no one...will keep them apart.

"My love for you will never dim or fade. It will only grow with time. I'll love you past the end of my days because one lifetime with you simply won't be enough. "

Review originally posted at Ramblings From This Chick

Endless Fate is the third and final installment in the Fate for Love series by Alicia Rae. This is the conclusion to Paige and Colton's story, and needs to be read in order. If you haven't read the previous two books you will need to start there. I have been waiting to see how things would play out for these two after everything that they had been through, and I was really happy with how things ended. I have loved these two from the beginning, and their journey has been one that I have really enjoyed.

As Colton and Paige continue to rebuild the ranch, their friends and family rally around to support them. But Paige is struggling with the knowledge that she took a human life, and she would do it again in a heartbeat. She knows that she needs to let Colton in and allow him to help her, yet she wants to be the strong woman that he deserves standing at his side. Just as they start to move forward with their lives, a new danger threatens to tear them apart once again. Can Colton and Paige find a way to make the newest threat go away for good? Or will their forever be stolen from them?

I have loved Paige and Colton from the beginning of this series, and that has never changed. Each book has showed them growing and changing, both as individuals and as a couple. Their love has always been deep and true. These two were meant to be together, and have been close since they were kids. But they are no strangers to struggle, and have had more than their fair share of obstacles. I really felt like they have always been able to lean on each other for support and encouragement though, even when it looked like they were trying to shut the other out. Their connection was too strong to ever allow them to remain apart for long, and they have the kind of love that can endure all. That was never more apparent to me than it was here, and they continued to show just how perfect they were for one another.

I will say that there was quite a bit of drama in this book, and for the most part it was something that I hadn't expected. While it made sense in a way, it also felt a bit forced to me. I just didn't believe that after everything that had happened that this kind of thing could really take place and not be stopped or noticed by others around them. I don't want to spoil anything for those that haven't read, so I am trying to be as vague about it as I can. But I just thought that the actions of the person causing the latest issues was a bit much and I didn't understand how that person could have been the way that they were with all the information that they had. Not only that, but the people in the community with how they treated Paige and Colton. It just didn't sit right for me and I didn't see how they would be able to act the way they did with the information available. I did like how everything ended though, and I could not have loved Paige and Colton more. It was great to see familiar faces as their friends and family helped them out, and it never gets old getting glimpses into the HEAs of characters that I have read about and loved. I know that I will read whatever Alicia Rae comes up with next, and I cannot wait for her next book.

Please note that if you have not read the first two books in this series, this review will contain spoilers in regards to those books. You have been warned!

At the end of Boundless Fate, I was surprised that there was more. I originally felt like the series could have ended after book two but I so am glad that there was more to this story. The more I read this book the more I appreciated what Alicia Rae gave the reader. At the end of Boundless Fate, Paige kills Hank, the man who has been tormenting and threatening Colton and Paige, in self defense. In Endless Fate, we see the consequences of her choice. In reality it was kill or be killed but so often in books we don't see the display of the aftermath. We see the end of conflict and the beginning of a new chapter- which often means then end of the book. This book allows the reader to better understand what happens when the smoke clears and how their lives are changed from that moment on.

Endless Fate focuses on Paige and Colton attempting to put the pieces of their lives back together and find a balance between the future they have always wanted and the past they still need to work through. The things that have happened over the last few months cannot be ignored and Paige begins to deal with the her grief and guilt at what happened. This book gives the reader a glimpse into her emotional and mental state. It was heartbreaking to see Paige deal with the outcome, but it allowed for Paige and Colton's relationship to be stronger and more connected. The reader sees the reaction of the town and the people around them, including Hank's family. It was frustrating to read and watch the story unfold but Alicia does an excellent job of showing the reader what a small town is like and how rumors and revenge grow quickly.

This book continues in the cross over with other characters from Alicia's stories. Whereas this story focuses primarily on Paige and Colton, the reader understand one foundational truth through this story: we are not meant to weather the storm alone. Friends and family surround Paige and Colton during the entire process, grieving with them, helping them pick up the pieces, and allowing them the support to deal with it all and take steps to move forward in their lives. The safety net of loved ones is inspiring and one of my favorite parts of this series. Every time a character attempts to push those they love out of their lives, their loved ones are there pushing back harder until they are all reunited again, fighting their demons together.

I wondered what this story would entail and BOY was I surprised. There was more drama that unfolded but it made sense in the story. There was loss and a new beginning, there were vows made and hope found. This story could not have been more perfect of an ending for Paige and Colton! I loved how Alicia Rae tied up the loose ends and gave the reader what they wanted: a beautiful story of love and life. I am hoping there is a story in the works for Ashlee and her mysterious man! I would love to see that story develop and hopefully have some crossover from Paige and Colton as well!

Endless Fate is book 3 of 3 in the Fate for Love Series and what an ending it is!!

"You've lost your way before, and so have I. The lonely ache in his voice seized my heart. "And that's okay. Heartache has a powerful impact on the soul, and we all get lost now and then. But I need you to promise me that you'll come back to me, Paige, because nothing will keep us apart. I won't accept anything less than forever with you."

Colton and Paige have been through everything together in life. Childhood sweethearts separated after an accident that seriously injured Paige and killed her horse, we have watched as Paige overcame her fears of horses and her fear of not being enough to have the life she envisioned as a child. A life with Colton, on their ranch, raising and training horses together. We watched as they came back together only to have their life's work burned to the ground. We watched as Paige fought for Colton just has he had fought for her for all those years. We watched as Colton and Paige were forced to make life altering decisions in a blink of an eye.

"I'd killed a man. I'd ended his life without showing him the slightest hint of pity or compassion or mercy. What kind of person does that make me?"

Paige is now struggling to keep her head above water and not lose herself and in turn lose the love of her life. She is trying to come to terms with the fact that she killed a man. It was self defense, she knows this. The reason behind it is not part of the struggle. On top of handling her own feelings on what she did, she has to face her town, her friends, her family, and Hank's widow, Madeline Ulrich.

"You know, they say she shot him twice. He didn't even have anything to defend himself. The poor guy was murdered, and she's running free."

Madeline is set to make Paige suffer in the very way that she herself has suffered. Madeline wants to take away everyone and everything that Paige loves. Madeline has the money and power to make her thirst for blood a very real threat. When Paige and Colton's friends from Lake Tahoe arrive the couple has back-up and friends to rely on, something Madeline does not have.

Can Colton and Paige overcome this last hurdle to their happily ever after or will Madeline succeed in taking away the things that matter most to Paige?

This was an amazing end to an amazing series!! I loved seeing the characters from the Beautiful series again. I LOVED Paige's fiesty best friend, Ashlee. I hope we see more of her in a future series! :) This series has suspense, action, a swoon worthy, panty melting cowboy (and his alpha friends), and romance up the ying yang. I absolutely LOVED it and the series epilogue did a great job of wrapping it all up! Can't wait for more from Alicia Rae!!

I Was Provided A ARC By Inkslinger PR For The Blog Tour
(Possible Spoilers)

Paige Summers is still dealing with the after math of what happened with Hank. All she can seem to feel is guilt, anger, and more guilt. That night plays on repeat in her head. Waking every night from nightmares. And all Paige wants is to forget. It's starting to put a strain on her and her cowboys relationship. She doesn't let him in, instead she seems to be pushing him away. On top of that, things keep getting thrown in their way. Looks and whispers from the town, strange things happening on their ranch, and a vengeful wife. All stand in the way of Paige and Colton moving on and being happy. Paige starts to wonder if they will ever get that happy ending. She will have to fight even harder to achieve that. And she knows with Colton by her side. That they can do anything.

Colton Kingston has always been a simple man. Love Paige, run his ranch, and take care of his horses. He's a hard worker. A honest man. And when Paige, his ranch, and their family & friends are threatened, he'll stop at nothing to protect what is his. Colton doesn't know how he can help Paige get past the nightmare they faced. All he can do is spend every day telling her how much he loves her. All he can do is hold her through it. To be their for her. She's been his they were five and nothing will change that. Colton will prove to Paige that their happily ever after is going to happen and he'll make damn sure it does.

They is so much to say about this series. I could go on and on about it. I'm so happy i took a chance on Enduring Fate. I got to fall in love with two amazing characters and their epic love story. The emotions theses characters experience pour off the pages. The ranch, the country, even the horses become as big a part of the stories as Colton, Paige, and their group of friends. (Who i LOVE) You feel like your standing right on that ranch with them experiencing what they feel and say. Alicia Rae knows how to capture the reader and place them right into this little world she created.

It was very bittersweet to see this series end. But it ended beautifully. And to know where these character are heading makes you hope the author might throw in another book or two, but that's just me wishing. ;)

Paige and Her Cowboy with always have a special place on my bookshelves and in my heart.

Received a copy of title in exchange for an honest review; original post can be found at:

This is a series that you must read all of the books -- it's a trilogy that grows off the previous story (granted, some of the 'important parts' of BOUNDLESS FATE are re-told through flashback, ie: a scene that was told in Colton's POV in BF, we get to see through Paige's recollection). I love these types of trilogies because I hate putting my characters away; I like to see them grow and feel that with more books, you get to see a true romance blossom -- a romance that is similar to one you would see in every day life.

Granted, there are things that Colton and Paige go through that aren't your typical day-to-day thing, but... it helps keep the reader interested!

Paige is having a hard time coming to terms with the acts she's had to do. She harbors a lot of guilt -- not necessarily because she had to kill someone, but because she fears what people will think of her. She hides out at home and when Colton brings her out, she tries to hide behind her sunglasses (props to Colton for not letting her -- not that he forces the issue, but he certainly plays his hand in a calm, gentle manner). Colton would do anything to keep her from caving in on herself. It hurts him to watch her hurting, knowing that there isn't much more he can do than hold her through the night.

When not dealing with pain and soul-breaking, Colton and Paige's relationship is as strong as ever, if not stronger. Their playful banter is still there -- and I certainly am a sucker for playful banter.

We get to end the story of Paige and Colton with more twists and turns to the roller coaster they're on, but they have a huge support system. Their Lake Tahoe "family" is with them through so much of it and where Paige, once upon a time, ran away to deal with her problems, she's learned to rely on Colton more -- he doesn't judge her, he only loves her.

Their love story has been so much fun to witness. A lot of drama, sure, but in the end these two were always meant for one another, and stopped at nothing to get what they truly wanted out of life -- one another.

Colton and Paige have been through hell and back with all sorts of danger coming their way and the latest was when Paige was kidnapped by Hank Ulrich and turned out that Eddie who was a cop was on the bad side of the law and dirty. In danger and with no way out of this situation alive, Paige in self-defence ended up shooting Hank. For the rest of the community though this was seen as murder and a shock as he was supposedly a pillar of the community, a family man with children. Now Paige is trying to re-find her place in this world, but is not finding it an easy journey as she is still plagued with the nightmares from that fateful night. The only thing keeping her alive and wanting more is Colton and he almost lost her once and isn't about to let her go again. This won't be an easy task though as Hank's widow is out for blood and revenge and will do everything in her power and a bit more to drive them out of town for good or at least make Paige suffer the way she did by getting rid of Colton. This was a fast-paced novel and the ending left me breathless and hoping got a happy ending and to show us readers that with love and determination and passion, you can overcome anything . I however will leave it there as I don't want to give away the ending but readers if you love Contemporary romances with a bit of Cowboys and Grit - not the food Grit but Grit as in Grittiness - then Endless Fate by Alicia Rae is the read for you.

Paige and Colton have been together since the dawn of time ....They belong together....They beat as one ♥

Paige and Colton have been through a really tough time . Paige was kidnapped and she killed a man, in self defense.
Colton has to rebuild their ranch having near lost it to arson at the hands of the same man and his goons that kidnapped Paige. Despite what they've been through their love for each other has never feigned.♥

The widow of the man Paige shot is out for vengeance and blood and she tries in so many ways to hurt Paige and Colton. What she doesn't take into consideration is their love for each other and their amazing support system , Colton has "blood brothers" that have their backs and aren't easily intimidated.

In between the suspense and drama there were also a few light hearted moments ,my favourite being at around  72% when the boys go shopping....let's just say coffee doesn't taste as good via your nostrils ! I could just picture the scenario going down in my minds eye lol !

Chapter 17 .....what a bitch! She got right in there and near ripped my beating heart out but my superheros chocolate and coffee were on hand to console me ! OMW!!!!

There is just something I must share, something Josephine, Colton's mother says to Paige,  it's not only beautiful but it really captures their love ♥"You and Colton share an indescribable love that most never have in this lifetime.

"Endless Fate is one of those ★★★★★ reads you just want to shout from the rooftops!

As with the rest of Alicia's books I once again have fallen in love. Deeper in love for Colton. I mean who doesn't love a hot cowboy who adores his woman? This series has taken a hold of my heart and hasn't let go.

This book shows the true meaning of real love and friendship. Paige has endured more than her fair share throughout the series and truly needed a support network in this story to help her come to terms with all that happened. I love all the characters and how they connect with each other. I honestly thought this book would be Paige and Colton getting over everything and rebuilding and everything being all hunky dory but no, we were then thrown another evil spanner out for revenge.

I was hooked on this book from start to end and as I mentioned absolutely love it! If you haven't become tangled up in Colton and Paige's story you really must dive in and let these characters take hold. For me they are ones you definitely won't forget in a hurry!

Favorite quotes:

"Colton pressed his lips to my forehead and slowly skimmed them back and forth. 'I got you, Paige, always,' he breathed. 'Sleep, baby.'"

"Paige's incessant giggles caused me to glance down at her with doting eyes, and I saw hers sparkling back up at me."

"No one had ever loved another soul more than I did her."

"'Nothing could keep me from you,' I breathed with my mouth millimeters from hers. 'Nothing. You're mine, sweet girl.'"

"'Because I love you, and I'd do it all over again just to see your eyes light up'-he flipped over his hand and skimmed his knuckles across my forehead, down my cheek, and over my lips-'and to see this smile.'"

"I wanted to. All of favorite places are engraved in my heart and mind, just the way they are in yours, Paige. They're ours, and someday, I want our children to roam those acres and make memories of their own there, too."

"'And I love you, my sweet girl,' he whispered, 'past the end of time.'"

I love this series and Alicia did not disappoint with Endless Fate. Alicia takes us on yet another emotional rollercoaster ride as we continue Colton and Paige's journey. Endless Fate flowed effortlessly and kept you wanting to find out what was going to happen next.

After Hank's death, Colton and Paige thought they could finally move on with their lives together and leave their worries behind them, yet life throws another curveball their way. As they fight through these obstacles they continue to learn the strength of their love and how there is nothing that they wouldn't do for each other. They learn that their love is endless.

A riveting, nail biting end to the series. I was hooked from the first book and it continued all the way through to the conclusion. I love Colton's need to protect Paige. I love that he loves her so much he is willing to take the whole burden onto his own shoulders. Paige can't stand anyone to be hurt for her and I would have been absolutely crazy being kept in the dark as well. I enjoyed the witty banter of the characters and their friends. It makes you feel as if you are in the room with them and I smiled every time. I was intrigued, proud and totally in love with their friends. Brilliant read! I'd highly recommend it!

I enjoyed this book. That being said it started a bit off for me as I kept re-reading it because I felt like I was dropped into a story with no warning and no lead up. I know some books start that way, but then they backtrack. I never felt that this backtracked like I wanted it to. (And of course it didn't because I did not write it.) But seriously, the characters were flawed and so very much in love. All said and done, I would give this one a solid 3-1/2 star rating.

I was given this book in echange for a fair and honest review.

Love this series and this was a great conclusion. Paige is struggling with killing a man in self defense. Colton just wants Paige to be happy. He wants to get the ranch back on his feet and marry the girl he loved his whole life. He thinks with Hank dead that they can start their life now. But someone else is threatening them and Colton fears for Paige's life.
They do get their HEA and I loved the ending. They are two great characters who deserved to be happy.

This is the 3rd and final book in the Fate for Love Series and should be read in order.

Colton Kingston and Paige Summers have endured a lot over the past year as Hank Ulrich and his vendetta burned down Colton’s Barns and almost took Paige’s life. Now Paige is home trying to move past the fact that she took someone else life and trying to move on is finding it’s a hard thing to do. Just when they think their nightmare is over another person comes back to threaten everything Colton and Paige have together. Will this be the one danger that finally breaks them apart or will it only make their love for one another stronger?

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

In the end of Boundless Fate Paige was kidnapped and eventually forced to shoot her capture Hank Ulrich in order to save the only man she ever loved, Colton. Now that she’s home and trying to deal with everything that happened that night she finds herself slipping away from Colton and their undying love. Throughout this whole series Paige has fought hard to keep what she has with Colton alive but she still can’t get over the fact that she was the one who pulled trigger.
Paige has always seen herself as the shy quiet one but the readers has seen her strength blossom and giving her what she needs to be a woman we can appreciate and want to be. Paige stood by Colton in the good times and the bad and has proven that her love for him is endless.

Colton faced his worst nightmare when Paige was kidnapped and then having Hank try to take his life. Colton couldn’t be more proud of Paige as she didn’t lose herself when he needed her help the most but because of this Colton finds that he see her slipping away from him. With the help of his good friends Kyle, Jason, Damon, Blake and their wives Lily, Abbey, Gail and Audrey (from the Beautiful Series) Colton does what he can to help Paige through this hard time and finally make her his wife.
Colton’s Strength and undying faith and love for Paige is something every girl dreams about. He may have be an alpha male but the man sure knows how to make any woman swoon over him. He has proven that his love for Paige is meant to be and that they are truly soul mates.

Alicia Rae wrote an amazing love series that hooked in me and kept me coming back for more. She ends this series perfectly giving her readers what they needed to be able to say good bye to the characters we’ve all comes to love. In this series and in the Beautiful series Alicia created the kind of character you never forget and leaves you wanting to know what happens next for them. Alicia did an amazing job in mixed her characters from the two series giving depth to the story line. I loved that she used them to show that family isn’t always blood related but they come from the heart. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of Alicia books as she is truly gifted writer.

Alicia did an amazing job in mixed her characters from the two series giving depth to the story line. I loved that she used them to show that family isn’t always blood related but they come from the heart. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of Alicia books as she is truly gifted writer.

OMGoodness!! I was shocked by this one!! I had no idea what to expect because I have not read the first two books in this series. I did not expect to be blown away like I was with how Alicia Rae made an Alpha Cowboy that totally made you weak in the knees for him. Colton was super yummy and I love the way that he treated Paige. (Totally reminded me of my hubby!!) Colton would do anything and everything for Paige to keep her happy and to make her love for him grow and grow.

Paige is just coming off of having been in a horrible situation of having to choose to end someones life in self defense and i personally think that this would be one of the hardest decisions to make and deal with. I have often thought what I would do and I am sure that I would react the same way that Paige did but you know that there are some repercussions from that decision that you have to live with. Colton and Paige have been together since they were 5 and pretty much knew that they were going to marry each other, it was just a matter of when was the perfect time for that to happen. I now understand the title Endless Fate after having read about all that Colton and Paige have had to go through and how fate just keeps throwing them curve balls. I am so glad that they were able to make it through the rough patches in their lives and find their way back to each other.

I love how Paige and Colton have their own place already with their own horses that they train. Just the way that these two interact with each other makes you realize the kind of love that they have for each other is one of a kind. I fell in love with this couple and the way that Colton would do anything to protect Paige and was so in tune to her feelings and what she was going through.

Thanks Alicia Rae for giving us a good cowboy/cowgirl story that had a very HEA for these two. I am so excited to go back and read the first two books now!! I can't wait for what we can see from Alicia in the future as well. Such a great story and easy reading!!

Their love and faith was endless...

Loved this third book in Colton and Paige's story! There is passion, tragedy, and comedy!! If you haven't read this series yet, be sure to start with book one: Enduring Fate. And now a bit about the story...

Now that Hank is out of their lives, they can finish rebuilding the ranch and move on, right? Except guilt and Hank's wife are in the way. Defending yourself shouldn't be such a bad thing. But when the trouble starts back up again what other option do you have?

Favorite passages:
- “What’s yours is mine, baby.”
- “Even when I can’t seem to find myself or keep my footing in this world, you always make me smile.”
- Maybe Colton was onto something there— with sex being the cure to everything. I wouldn’t exactly say it cured everything, but it sure as hell had alleviated some of my pent-up stress— not that I would ever give him the satisfaction of telling him my revelation.
- “Our fears are our own worst enemy.”
- He was the boy I’d loved since I was a little girl.
- I felt like I was Cinderella, and these were my glass slippers. Only mine were cowgirl boots.
- Together, we can conquer anything thrown in our path.

A grieving widow plots her revenge on Paige and threatening everyone she loves including her horses to pay for the crimes of self protecting in the last book. After killing Hank Paige will have the ultimate test of life with guilt and judgement for the people of their town. Colton wants to protect is woman at all costs until his dying breath, he might have to dye just so Paige can live to another day. Get the tissues out its wedding planning time for the woman but blackmail time for Colton to deal with.

This whole series was a stellar accomplishment by Alicia Rae. I loved the way she wove love, loss, heartache, heartbreak, relationship, and undying devotion into a tale that will bring you to your knees. There was a lot of drama that lead up to this final book in the series, and Alicia didn't disappoint to deliver a nail-biter to the very end. I can't wait to see what she writes next!

I loved the first book in this series. I liked the second book but by the third book I just wanted the story completed. Poor Colton and Paige! I think this trilogy would have worked better as a duo with less trials/tribulations for the couple. The story felt contrived by the third book. The HEA ending felt a little rushed considering everything this couple had to overcome.

Great ending to the series..

I've loved Paige and Colten's story from the beginning. I'm so glad they got their HEA.

I hope we see a story about her best friend Ashley and Alex.

I wish we would have known what happened to the evil witch. I also hope they got some money for all their troubles with her.

Loved the story!!!!

Love it

Another good book. Had you laughing at times, tearing up at other times and wondering what was going to happen next that you can't put it down.
