With two trophies under his belt in his debut season, there were great expectations from Manchester City fans, keen to see what Manuel Pellgrini could achieve in his second season.
Sadly, the season turned out to be a considerable disappointment, though not quite the disaster many painted it as, as City finished in the top 2 in the league for the fourth season in succession.
