Wow is all I can say, this is a very short paranormal love romance, with a different ending then what you might be expecting. Rory the FMC takes what she wants from the very beginning and makes no apologies for it. The MMC Lincoln was dealing with intense grief and starts to experience some really different and strange things. This book maybe short but it will give you a lot of twist and turns and keep you guessing from the start to the end. Thank you Autumn Lawrence-Barnette and B.G. Grayhay for the ARC for my honest review.
As someone who LOVES ghosts and dark romance, THIS is exactly the kind of story I’ve been looking for!! A girl dies and comes back to haunt her ex??? SAY LESS. I was sold immediately. 🤣 My ONLY complaint is that it was wayyyyy too short. And I mean that in the best way possible. This storyline has SOOOOO much potential, and I genuinely think if the author really got down to the nitty gritty of everything, this could easily be an absolutely phenomenal 300+ page book. I wanted more of the haunting, more of the darkness, more of the backstory, just MORE OF EVERYTHING. With that being said, I literally could not put it down. Even being such a short read, it had me hooked from beginning to end. The concept is SO good, and I absolutely LOVED how it ended. I just wasn’t ready for it to be over. 😭 If you love dark romance, ghosts, obsession, and a storyline that’s a little twisted, PLEASE give this one a read. It’s such a unique concept and absolutely worth your time. I just need someone to convince the author to turn this into a full length novel because I would eat that UP. 🤣
Ghosted is a short paranormal story that spurs you to think-what unfinished business would you leave behind if you were to die today? Lincoln is Rory’s unfinished business, it would seem. The story starts with Rory’s death, setting the scene for Lincoln’s spiraling because he thought she ghosted him. He instead starts being haunted by her ghost, as possessive in death as she was in life. The story is poetic justice and comes full circle, giving me a sense of completion. The only complaint I have? I wish there was more deranged ghostly spice. I thought the premise was compelling and well executed. Well written, painting a picture of the events within. 4/5 stars-Emotional paranormal short with spice 2/5 spice: ghostly spice
Welp she never disappoints that’s for sure. The way yall write is guaranteed to make you feel. This one is so different than her usual work but in the best ways. This is a paranormal romance where their love is so strong not even death can keep them apart. Think the movie Ghost… but better. “Death never do us part” 😱 Ok seriously 5 ⭐️ go pre order this baby and get ready for a roller coaster ride.
A really short, dark story about a ghost and a human who got ghosted. I really enjoyed it! It’s a quick read that takes you through different emotions, and everything comes together beautifully by the end. I loved it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short read that might make you cry a little.
Ghosted was a wow of a emotional whirlwind. I was definitely not expecting what i got from it but wow it truly was a captivating short story. Thankyou for having me as an ARC member
That was a nice quick read, it definitely messes with you’re head a bit and I wish there was more, but i thoroughly enjoyed the book. The characters were well written.
This story is so sad yet was a good small read. Its crazy and honestly devastating to think someone is ignoring you and going about their life to learn what really happened to that person. To learn that they have been dead this whole time is honestly heart wrenching.
But I have questions, was Rory’s body recovered? Was there any police articles released regarding her death? If it’s been months months since shes been dead wouldnt the town talk about it? and Lincoln would have learned about it sooner? It’s 2027-2028, you would think so right? You’re telling me Lincoln didnt stalk any people Rory may have known for family to learn about her passing?
I just feel so bad for both Lincoln and Rory because he found out late about her death, and Rory died alone. But hey death to us part right, in the end.

I was confused, sad, and a little turned on. (Not sure what that says about me).
I had a little bit of a hard time rating this because I thought there was going to be a romance with a ghost. And so was a little disappointed in the fact that isn’t what this book is. But at the same time, I liked it and it left me with just enough questions that this book is going to linger long after I put it down, so I ultimately had to go with 5⭐️.!
Ghosted was a short story about a couple that had gotten into a fight and the fmc walking out and met their tragic end unfortunately the mmc was unaware that she had been killed but thought she had left him. While this was a very short read it make you question what happens to you love one after you die
I needed more of this story, my only critique is that I wish it was longer! I would have loved to learn more about Rory and Linc’s relationship prior to this story. The pacing and plot of this book was perfect for how long it was. It was the perfect about of creepy for spooky season too! Literally finished in less than an hour, so anyone has the time to read this!
Oh, this was right up my alley! 🖤 Dark, twisted and deliciously creepy! I absolutely love books that give off those unsettling vibes and make you question what the hell is going on! 😂 The darker and more messed up things get, the more invested I become. This is exactly the kind of read my dark little heart loves!
I tried to savor this one because I knew it was going to be short! I think we can all collectively agree we wish it were longer! The concept was so cool and had me intrigued from the beginning. This was perfect little spooky read to get me in the Halloween TBR mood.
