Part of SEALs of Summer 2 anthology. SEALs. I just love them. I love the hunky, sexy, smart, funny guys who serve their country and love their women. I can't get enough of them. Elle James writes a short, hot SEAL adventure unlike any other author. She blends a hot romance with a suspenseful adventure and comes up with a winner.

Navy SEAL, Declan "Irish" O'Shea and his team are in the Horn of Africa on a mission to take out a real nasty baddie. The mission doesn't go as planned and Irish is injured and separated from his team. He is rescued by a beautiful doctor who hides him from the baddies. Irish only wants to return to his team. But when Doctor Claire Boyette's partner is kidnapped by the baddies, his mission becomes keeping her from rushing to the rescue.

Together they must stay out of the hands of the baddies and make it back to the base in Djibouti. When they come across an entire village of dead natives, they know that something very bad is going on.

Suspenseful, steamy and action packed with some graphic violence, biological warfare, and some scenes with the close knit SEAL Team 10 family.

I purchased a copy of the steamy novel SEAL's Deception: Take No Prisoners book 8: Ben and Yasmin by Elle James and this review was given freely.
Steamy and action packed with a glimpse into the Arabic culture this story of intrigue contains some violence but the violence seems less harsh then in prior novels.
Sting Ray, Irish and Ben “Big Bird” Sjodin travel to London to join with ex-Interpol now CIA undercover operative Yasmin Evans in this complex attraction at first sight romance with a mission to locate and destroy biological weapons in Prince Khalid bin Abdulaziz's Saudi Arabian palace.

I purchased a copy of the steamy novel SEAL's Deliverance: Take No Prisoners book 9: Stingray and Lilly by Elle James and this review was given freely.
A poignant and action packed military based intrigue founded on love and a close family of Navy SEALs as they battle against a terrorist with a vendetta against them. This crossover novel includes the Brotherhood Protectors series' former navy SEAL Hank "Montana" Patterson, his employee Tate "Bear" Parker,Tate's sister Lily and includes the SEAL Team 10's Sting Ray, Big Bird and Irish. When Raymond “Sting Ray” Thompson returns home to Eagle Rock, Montana and teams up with the divorced abusive survivor, CDC biologist Lilly Parker to stop the bio-terrorist who targeted Sting Ray's Uncle, Sting Ray not only finds love but discovers his Uncle is not the hard and unfeeling man he thought he knew.

Need mire background on these characters as well as future happenings. Lot of action, death, getting fixed up. Bio warfare us never good. Claire literally saved Irish’s life and protected him from rebels. He saved Claire from being raped by the rebels. Can his brothers from Seal Team 10 rescue her from a biotech lab and the rebels when she tries to save her doctor friend from the lab? All hell breaks loose

Seal's Defiance

Another great book by Ms James. Each book and characters seem to flow effortlessly into each other, although each book could be a stand alone. This is book 7 in the series and it's just as good, interesting and intriguing as the first one. Be sure to add another of Ms James' books to your library and THE List. You won't be disappointed..

Angel Rescue

Irish and Claire's story has been my favorite in this series. It was well rounded and complete. Irish never thought he would be rescued by a doctor, a beautiful angel doctor. Claire is in a very dangerous situation, but she knew she had to help the soldier who had fallen. This is a good story.

I feel like there's sum missing at the end that should b there. Irish got hurt and fell out the copter and a woman saved him and took care of him until he got back on his feet. They had a hell of a x getting back 2 safety but they find out sum disturbing news. They have 2 find a way 2 take others 2 safety if possible and do what they must. I was a little disappointed at the end

This is an action packed series and I like reading about these brave SEALs as they find the love of their lives. I really like the fact that they have each others backs no after how dangerous the situation is. These women are equally brave and I am looking forward to the next release.

I received a copy of this novella from the author in exchange for an honest review and here it is.

This is the first novella that I've read in the Take No Prisoners series. While starting to read a series after six previous books is usually a hindrance, in this case, it wasn't. The fact that I hadn't previously encountered any of the other members of SEAL Team 10, didn't matter at all, and it takes a skillful writer to make that possible. In many cases, the author will cram Chapter One with the names of other prior main characters, and quickly try to explain the relationships among them. I generally find that practice both overwhelming and irritating, and thankfully, Ms. James avoids that pitfall and gets the reader right into the action from page one.

The hero, Declan O'Shea, known to his Seal team as Irish, along with his teammates are on a mission to capture and kill the vicious leader of a rebel faction in Somalia who is wiping out entire villages, raping and pillaging his was across the country. The op isn't entirely successful, and as the SEALs are making their getaway, Irish falls out of a helicopter just before it crashes--he's unconscious, injured and left behind. It is then that we, and Irish, meet our heroine, Claire, who is in Somalia working with Doctors Without Borders.

I love the fact that Ms. James gave us a smart, dedicated, self-assured, professional, resourceful and courageous heroine. What a nice change it is, having the heroine rescue the hero. Both of these characters are strong and willful, and the way they interact and challenge each other is refreshing, hot, and exciting.

The only complaint I have with SEAL's Defiance is that I wish it was just a bit longer, and that we'd have been given more backstory about Irish, his personal experience, how he became a SEAL and why. While that background information may have appeared in previous installments, I wish it had been included here.

All in all, this was a very good read, and I'll be backtracking to read the first six installments.

No cliffhanger – stands alone. Great SEAL story!

I’ve read and enjoyed all of the Take No Prisoners stories. Like all of the others, this one can totally be enjoyed without having read any of the others (but you should read them because they are great).

Declan O’Shea (known as Irish to his friends and team members) is on a mission with the rest of SEAL Team 10 to take down a really bad guy in Somalia. Dr. Claire Boyette is working with a Somalian doctor to help take care of the people devastated by the actions of the one that Irish’s team has orders to kill.

The mission goes bad and Irish is thrown from a helicopter where Claire finds him mostly unconscious. She risks her safety to hide him and take care of him. Irish wants to find his other teammates and find out if they are OK.

Irish and Claire see a lot of action and adventure as they try to make their way back to the US base where Irish hopes to find the rest of his team alive and well.

This story kept my attention all the way through with plenty of twists to keep it interesting. Elle James does her usual superb job of telling another great SEAL story.

I purchased a copy of this book as part of the SEALs of Summer 2 boxed set.

Declan "Irish" O-Shea, member of Navy SEAL Team 10, is in Somalia to take down a rebel group that is taking over villages and killing the locals. During the mission, things go awry and Irish is injured and left for dead. Lucky for him, Dr. Claire Boyette had seen it happen and saw where his body landed. She hid him under brush and debris while the rebels circled around looking for survivors, then when it was safe, took him to her tent in the village she was staying in to tend his wounds and let him heal.

When the rebels arrive in her village, Irish slips out the back and escapes. Claire and her colleague are taken by gunpoint to tend the rebel leader who was injured in the raid. After patching him back together, Claire is taken to a tent and left while her colleague is taken somewhere in an SUV. Luckily Irish followed Claire and rushes in to rescue her as she is about to be raped by one of the rebels. They manage to make their way to Irish's camp to safety.

They get intel of where Claire's colleague may be, and set off on a mission to rescue him. Read to find out what happens!

This is the third book in this series that I've read by Elle James and trust me there is nothing lacking. From start to finish this story packed with action, suspense, romance and hot SEALs. Let me repeat that HOT SEALs!
Declan O'Shea takes his job as a SEAL very seriously and thinks nothing about getting in the thick of it when needed. Trying to get Dr. Claire Boyette safely out of a small village in Africa takes a little bit more work than he planned on, but he along with the rest of his team are more than willing to do what it takes.
Claire has lived most of her life in Africa and is used to the danger, but this time she is being targeted because she has helped SEAL Team 10 to take down local rebels.
The last thing she expects in all of this is her attraction to Declan. If they can both get out alive she plans on making changes in her life that make their relationship a priority instead of always thinking about work and Declan is totally on board with that.
I'm definitely looking forward to reading more books in this series.

I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

**A gifted copy was provided by the author for my honest review**

Declan "Irish" O-Shea is a member of Seal Team 10 and he is in Somalia in order to take down a rebel group who are there to do horrible things to innocent people when Irish is injured and left to die. Dr. Claire Boyette saw what happened and came to his aid as soon as it was safe to do so. She took him to her tent and took care of him and lets him stay in her tent to heal from his wounds. But this is where the story takes a turn. See doing a good deed doesn’t always go unpunished… Irish slips out and then later , Claire and her colleague are taken by gunpoint to the rebel leader who happened to have gotten injured during the fighting. Claire was taken off to another tent and the other colleague was rushed off to the SUV. Was Claire saved, did Irish Ger to her in time.
I found this to be a very intense, moving story that moves along at a rapid pace. I loved the immediate connection that linked Claire and Irish. I very much recommend this book in the Take No Prisoners series.

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

This was a great story. I really enjoyed the characters. Irish and Claire were great. Irish gets caught behind enemy lines when a mission doesn't go just right and is saved by Claire, a doctor. They are soon on the run from the enemy that Irish and his team were sent for. During this they grow closer before they are reunited with Irish's team and take the next steps to complete their mission. I loved getting to see everyone back in "mission status". It was a little difference since the last story I read in this series. The downfall to this is we don't get to see any of the other significant others but you still get to see the guys. There is plenty of action in this story to keep you interested page to page. I didn't want to put it down once I started and in fact didn't. I had to find out what was going to happen next and how Irish and Claire were going to work out. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

This is the first book (short story) of Elle James' that I've read and I really enjoyed it. It kept my attention and the story flew by.
Irish and Claire meet when she recuses him after a failed mission when the copter he was in crashes in Africa. Hiding him in her tent in the bush where her and another doctor are caring for the women and children who escaped their captured village. When Claire and the Dr. Jamo are taken to tended to the wounded from the failed attach its Irish's turn to rescue Claire. Escaping they must make it through the bush to the safety of the military base hundreds of miles away.
This story has hot alpha males, hot sexy time and nail biting suspense. It can be read as a stand alone book but I think it would of been more enjoyable if read in order of the series.

I loved this installment!!! This book stars Declan 'Irish' O'Shea and Dr. Claire Boyette.

Dr. Boyette is with Doctor's Without Boarders, and risks her life when she goes into some of the war zoned areas. Declan meets Claire when a mission he and his team are on, goes terribly wrong and she hides Declan and nurses him back to health. As Declan was healing, it became clear that he was in trouble if it was found out that an American Military was in a camp on their land.

Declan and Claire must run and get to the border before the enemy can get to them. This fast passed book that you will be sitting on your seat one minute and transfixed when they act on their attraction to each other.

We get caught up with the other Seal Team 10 members who is why we all read series, right? Don't miss this installment, you won't regret it.

From the collection Duty, Honor and Love by multiple authors. Love reading books about our men and women in uniform. Irish fell out of a crashing helicopter on a rescue mission in Africa. A doctor from Doctors Without Borders rescues him, but they have to run for their lives from a crazy warlord. The come across several villages with bodies everywhere. These villagers are being used for bio warfare.

There’s something to be said about being in the right place at the right time. The unlikely meeting of a lady doctor and a SEAL in a foreign country, with both trying to escape a bad situation, results in a bond that has the potential to be everlasting. The latest book in the Take No Prisoners Series is an exciting continuation of this group of Navy SEALS.

Hot read

Claire is a doctor without borders in Somalia. The village she is in is taken over by rebels. Seals are sent to take out the leader of the rebels. The mission fails and Irish falls out of a Night Hawk just before it is downed.

Their romance is warm and exciting.
