These tiny vials are worth millions and bids are coming in from around the world for a chance to have only one. Having spent his entire life in a lab, the mad scientist behind the serum wants to make up for lost time and injects himself with one. A disgruntled, former employee breaks in with the intention of stealing the serum. Not only does the serum get released into the city but the scientist who's now infected.... There are only a few survivors left and only one of them is the antidote.

All I can say is, find a new editor that knows how to properly use punctuation and knows the difference between "beat red eyes" and "beet red eyes". Nothing more irritating than unnecessary commas and the wrong word used in a short story of 40 pages. It really makes me not want to waste my time with the actual series.
