When Pearce met Rachel, he knew she was the only woman for him. He wanted her, needed her, and now he finally has her. But for how long? He was never supposed to be with her. He didn’t follow their rules and now he must pay for what he’s done.
With his punishment looming, his relationship with Rachel moves forward. They’re looking at houses, talking about having a baby, living a normal life. The life Pearce always wanted.
But he worries it won’t last. He’s concerned about Rachel’s safety, and fears what will happen if she ever learns the truth. Can he continue to keep the dark side of his life a secret from her? And if he can’t, would she forgive him for what he’s done?
Their love story continues, but now it’s become much more complicated.

This is the second book in this fascinating series. This is a well written emotional roller coaster journey, with heartbreak, intrigue, family, friendships, humour, and love which all leads to a thrilling and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This was so amazing!!!! My emotions were everywhere as i read this book. If you had read the jade series before, you know the outcome. the whole time reading this i was wondering if this is the book where the inevitable happens. Luckily it isn't. but the whole time i was biting my nails wondering. i literally have no nails left after this. Anyways, this book was amazing. there we so many emotional struggles that the had to deal with, but learned to get through it. i was left with a mix of emotions. although i want to read the next one, i am afraid of it also.
although i am scared of the next one, i can't wait to read it.
4.5 Exceptional Stars!!! This is going to kill me to wait for the next book. There never seems to be a dull moment & even when it slows a bit you are constantly waiting for what is next. I love Pearce & Rachel. I don't ever want them to end, but "all good things must come to an end".......or do they?
𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲: Keeping Her 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿: Allie Everhart 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: ☆☆☆☆☆ 5/5
Pearce finally has Rachel, but how can he keep her? The organization is not happy with their relationship and especially Pearce his dad is firm against their relationship (married or not). This also explains so much about Pearce in the Jade series and how he tries to protect Garret from the organization. I absolutely loved Jack, I was so happy that Pearce at least got someone who is a bit in his corner. The suspense was killing me again and I loved how the relationship between them keeps evolving. I am so excited to read the next installment (afraid for the inevitable) and hope Pearce will eventually be able to redeem himself.

JESUS! I haven't felt this tense reading a book for a long time! Allie Everhart is putting me through the ringer! When I started this series I was totally in love with the fact that this was spread across 4 books, but I didn't think the secret would be kept for so long, I just want it to be all out in the open and everything be good! PLEASE! Damn it :(
I waited until I read all 4 books until reviewing.
A great storyline. Loved the double life. Hated the members. Felt really connected to the main characters. Recommend all 4 books and it should be a film!!
I LOVED this book! I would have given it 5 stars if not for two issues: there were a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes, and some of the descriptions were redundant. So I gave this 4.5 stars! I was drawn in the entire time!
3,5* Pearce i Rachel podjęli ryzykowny krok i wzięli szybki ślub w Las Vegas.
Sometimes an author looses steam when writing a trilogy whereby the first would have been great, the second...not so bad but not overly good and the third...good. I am happy that this was not the case with Keeping Her. I was intrigued from the first word to the last.
I'm finding it easy to hate certain characters and love others at the same time. I hate Pearce's parents more-so his father...how could anyone be so cruel? The story is written in such a way that I can easily picture them in my mind. I love Jack...he's such a rebel but I love that he looks out for Pearce as he would for a son...at least it seems so for now.
My main question after book 2 is was The Organization responsible for the accident?
I teared up in the last chapter especially at Pearce's first interaction with Garret.
Kudos to the author for striking gold yet again with this one. Can't wait to see what unfolds for them next.
I haven't read the Jade Series, but from what I've been reading in reviews, this series is about Garrett's parents. I'm not sure how I feel about the series so far. I seems to be a very slow moving train. I'm still not sure why Pearce is being punished for marrying Rachel when there was no rule against it. Why are Pearce's parents such jerks? Pearce and Rachel have no one to support them and no one they can trust. It seems they've lost their chance at normalcy when they lost the two people that mean the most to them. Could that be the punishment? I praying that Holton is taken out asap. I'm frustrated with the story and I'm not sure if I should continue reading or stop here. A very ok interesting story, but it's a very slow build. Romantic scenes are very bland and boring. They could've been cut out all together.
I have read every book Allie has written and they just get better and better. The Jade series was awesome and now we get to go back and read about Pearce - it's an unexpected side to him we didn't know about before. This is a great book, an emotional and beautiful story of Pearce & Rachel. Cannot wait for the next one - except that we know what's coming from reading the Jade series.
It was good, I really want to know what happens next, I really wish I didn't know what happens in the future. But Rachel is irritating me. Why on earth would she believe evil, horrible people? Or put any weight into what they are saying. I don't like how naive she is coming across. I understand how she doesn't believe people can be so horrible, but with the examples she has already been given, why wouldn't she believe it? Anyhow, now we wait!
There's still a lot to learn about Pearce, but the new series gives some insight into the way he interacts with others in the Jade Series. Allie keeps the young Pearce true to the man he becomes. I like that Garrett grows up to be so much like the mother he lost when he was young.
Lots of fun to read...can't wait for the next one.
Pls release the next one soonest? Hope u will create more books Bout the life if this couple with young Garret. They deserve to tell the detailed version of their story as well. Thank youu so much! Ur novels are amazing! Caaant waiiit!!!
this book was amazing, it's interesting how the characters seem very much like Jade and Garett. But now we're able to see what understand why Pearce wanted to protect his son from the organization.
Absolutely loved it. I hope and pray that she meets up and Garret and Jade now that they have a family. It would make everything perfect. Get Katherine out of the picture for good! Blend the two series together.
