The Whore and The Virgin Part 3

Rate this book
Melanie has finally overcome the trauma of the brutal attack she experienced when she was 15 years old, and she’s finally able to open herself up to the affections of opposite sex. Perhaps even more extraordinary is the fact she’s found the man of her dreams in the handsome and successful Jackson Henderson. Jackson has helped Melanie become the woman she longed to be in more ways than one, and she’s more thankful to him than he’d ever know. Unfortunately, being with Jackson comes with a price Mel maybe unwilling or unequipped to pay.

Yolanda has only gotten stronger after surviving her ordeals with Brick and C-Money, and now the most important thing in her life is her little girl Miracle. She’s determined to give Miracle the upbringing she never had and make sure she doesn’t endure the hardships she faced. Having a man in her life is the last thing she’s concerned with, that is until she meets Ty, a sweet, handsome college student who is the opposite of everything she’s ever known in a man. Things seem like that can’t get any better in the beginning, but as it’s always had a way of doing, Yo-Yo past comes back to haunt her and puts everything she has in jeopardy.

It’s been ten years since that life changing summer that first brought Melanie and Yo-Yo together, and they’ve been through a lot since then. Through it all, the one constant has been the love and support they have for one another, and they’ll need every bit of it to get through their current circumstances. Back in Philly for the first time since their daring escape, the girls are hoping to put their lives on the right track once and for all. In love, life, and business, all they want is success and happiness, but the route they chose to get there will once again be paved with pitfalls the likes of which they could never imagine. There’s no shortage of drama-filled twist and turns in this third and final ride with our beautifully flawed and endearing ghetto heroines, but only time will tell if this will be the one where they crash and burn.

Ceet The Author hails from South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he began honing his craft as an artist as early as age nine. At fourteen he wrote a short story for his high school English class entitled “Summertime in my neighborhood”, and fifteen years later that story became the basis for Ceet’s first official release, 2009’s “The Whore and The Virgin.” The book became an instant hood classic and all of the positive feedback inspired Ceet to release his second effort, “A Dog’s Day” that very same year.

While gaining recognition as a writer Ceet then began pursuing another passion, filmmaking and videography. In 2010 he wrote, produced, and directed “The Wrong Few Brothas” movie/music video starring City Council and Jay Stars. Also in 2010 was the release of “The Dead End Movement”, a documentary about the Philadelphia community where Ceet was raised. After completing the documentary Ceet went on to produce and direct a number of independent film projects, including the “The BARZ freestyle series” and the “Dead End Cyphers”, as well as a number of music videos for artist in and around Philadelphia, including the 2012 street banger “The South Philly Anthem.”

Today Ceet continues to study his craft and pursue his dreams from his home in South Philly. He’s already released several more novels under his imprint BRP Entertainment, as well as several skits, web series, and music videos. With many more projects down the line Ceet shows no signs of slowing down.
