LETTURA DI GRUPPO E&L
Beh di gruppo, non esageriamo. Lo abbiamo letto in due (Tsukino ed io), solo noi abbiamo avuto il coraggio. Scaricato perchè gratis e perchè avevo proprio voglia di capire come in 70 pagine si potesse sviluppare il dramma della nostra portagonista, che dopo una notte sfrenata con uno conosciuto in un bar, il giorno dopo al matrimonio di sua madre scopre essere il figlio del futuro marito. In pratica è il suo fratellastro.
E qui partonono i dilemmi. Il libro è molto divertente. Tanti stereotipi, cose già viste e...il tutto si risolve in meno di 40 pagine. Si perchè dopo averlo comprato ho scoperto che erano due i racconti.
Il secondo (di cui già mi sono dimenticata il titolo) è stato peggio del primo.
Lei cerca lavoro in un bar, e trova lui ex forza speciale (lo si capisce solo perchè parlano di foto di quando lui era in servizio) e amante della scalata su roccia.
Ovviamente lui l'assume. Fanno sesso la notte stessa, ma poi stop perchè lei non va a letto più di una volta con un umo. E riescono a resistere fino alla fine del libro.
Questo poteva essere anche più carino e divertente visto i battibecchi dei due, ma l'autrice è riuscita a renderlo prevedibile e di un piattume!
Per entrambi i racconti in alcuni punti mi sono annoiata. e vi ricordo che non sono lunghi più 40 pagine a testa. Fate i conti voi.

Quota di lettura trash con il GDL Edicola & Libreria: le nostre passioni...
Su segnalazione della nostra Yukino, ho scaricato questo ... libro (mi sto facendo violenza a chiamarlo così) gratis da Amazon.
Attirata dalla trama mi sono soffermata su questo punto In questo racconto, che narra la storia d’amore tra fratellastro e sorellastra, Justin deve decidere se la sua felicità possa trascendere la natura proibita della loro relazione. Riuscirà a superare i suoi dubbi riguardo allo stile di vita lussuoso e al fatto che ci sia un legame di parentela tra di loro? O resisterà alla tentazione, restando sola pur di salvaguardare la morale?
peccato che da quanto riportato prima, i due non sono consanguinei, si sono conosciuti (molto approfonditamente a quanto pare) da meno di 24 ore, dove sta il proibito????🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sono due racconti (in 72 pagine).
Il primo è La cura.
La storia si è rivelata all'altezza delle aspettative: c'è tutto il trash che mi aspettavo, una protagonista idiota, che si fa menate idiote, è pieno di stereotipi, e tanta assurdità.
Il secondo, Un mucchio di guai, mi ha anche fatto risparmiare tempo, perchè l'avevo già letto 😲

July 5, 2017Aunque conste como que lo he leído (ojalá hubiera una opción de "sin terminar" o algo), no he podido terminarlo. No he conseguido congeniar con la protagonista, además de que los diálogos creo que no se han traducido bien (se han mantenido de la forma inglesa) y eso me terminó cansando.
Quizá más adelante le vuelva a dar una oportunidad, pero las opiniones que veo sobre el libro no me animan mucho...

This book made it very difficult for me to form a solid opinion of it. I can't tell if it was just the narration I didn't like or if it was that particular narrator for this particular story. The story itself wasn't anything spectacular or outstanding in any way. People who are into the 'step' romances will probably like it well enough. I would, however, recommend listening to the sample before purchasing and make sure the narration sounds good to you.

I liked this erotic short. The stepbrother is one of the best male leads I've read in a story that is less than 70 pages. The story is told from the POV of the heroine. The sex scenes are steamy and not dirty. The ending is satisfying.

Tenia material para hacer la historia mas extensa, es demasiado rebuscado que justo el tipo con el que te metes en un bar sea tu hermanastro, eso si es tener la peor mala suerte del mundo.
Quede con preguntas sin respuestas.
•¿Que pensó Mark cuando se entera de la relación? Mas que mal es abogado y los abogados no siempre son tan liberales.
•¿Selina tuvo una relación con Trey?
•¿Que paso con el niño que atropellaron? Se que esto no es relevante pero quede con la duda.
Recomendada si quieren leer una historia corta y sin tanto desarrollo.

Sweet! This is my first time reading one of Olivia Myers books. This story is about Justine and Trey. They had one very hot night together. Then they found out that they was going to be step-siblings. This is a quick and easy read. If you love reading about stepbrother taboo, then this is the one for you. I will definitely be reading more from Olivia Myers. Keep up the good job!

I listened to this title through audible. Not only was it a good short story but it was great narration. The female lead of this story whined, shunned, and gave attitude to the Male lead Trevor or Trev, but love won in the end. I don't want to give away the story but it was sweet.

2,5⭐️ ho scaricato questa storia breve gratis ed ho scoperto che in realtà i racconti sono ben due 😱 Quindi direi più che brevi. Se si ha voglia di passare un paio d’ore senza pensare a niente è l’ideale.

It was short since it moved too fast to really build details. I liked the story anyway. I would have liked to know more about Trevor's job and maybe the story of them.

Me siento un poco contrariada con esta pequeña historia.
En un libro más o menos extenso se me hace infinitamente inaceptable que haya una relación sexual apenas los personajes se hayan conocido. O sea, tipo: se conocen, la tía se mojó y al tío se le paró, se van a la casa de alguno de ellos, o a un motel de quinta, tienen sexo, se enamoran y viven felices para siempre.
O sea, WHAT?!
Bueno, eso me pasa. Me parece completamente inaceptable que eso suceda en un libro, sin embargo, esta historia siendo tan corta, una short storie, se me hace aceptable.
¿Por qué? Porque al ser tan corta no tengo tiempo ni de ponerme a juzgar al personaje por hacer una guarrada tal como acostarse con un completo desconocido que puede ser un asesino en serie. No hay tiempo de recriminar acciones que en nuestro universo son tan descabelladas, la historia es tan rápida como la relación y entonces lo puedo soportar.
El tema que se incluye, "incesto" que ni siquiera se puede considerar incesto la verdad, mierda tabú como siempre, me pareció fresco y le añadió un pin de emoción más la relato.
No ha sido nada del otro mundo, pero ha sido lo que estaba buscando, una historia súper cortita y para nada compleja.
La recomiendo para leer de paso, uno no se demora más de 25 o 30 minutos leyéndola, nada extensa, muy sencilla y súper romántica.

I don't know why I always end up listening or reading some erotica romance. Like I am reading the description of the book but never assumed anything until I actually listened or read it. Then I'm like may as well read it huh?
P. S. If you want to listen to this on audible doesn't because the lady narrator voice is Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh so not fitting for the guy characters or women. U dislike a narrator with an ugly voice. But the story was interesting enough.
BTW: I'm always reading or listening to something that ends with brother n begins with Step lol.

Justine ist in der Vorort für die Hochzeit ihrer Mutter zurück gekehrt. In der Nacht vor der Hochzeit lernt sie einen Mann in der Bar kennen und hat die heißeste Nacht ihres Lebens mit ihm. Am Morgen bei der Hochzeit erlebt sie eine Überraschung. Der Mann ist ihr neuer Stiefbruder, ein Arzt der auch in New York lebt.
Eine sehr schön geschriebene Geschichte, die für mich persönlich nicht übermässig spannend war. Da sie kurz war, ist sie genau das richtig für zwischendurch um einfach mal wieder abschalten zu können. Denn Konflikt den Justine damit hat das er ihr Stiefbruder ist, konnte ich nicht wirklich nachvollziehen.

La idea principal de la historia es buena, no entiendo como es que la autora no logró hacerla mas extensa y un poco más creíble, porque conocerse, enamorarse e intimar en menos de 9 paginas fue demasiado brusco para mi, sin embargo, tuve una parte favorita y fue exactamente el final de la corta historia :

Wow it was way took short. However, we didn't have to wade through t he on and on of so many will she, will he, won't they. Cut and so dry. The meet, have sex, find out next day they are new step-siblings, ponder over mistake, sex again, full out fall hard and opt to last a lifetime... End of story. No emotional bonds formed whatsoever.

Once she got over her prejudice against his wealth, she let herself actually see the man for who he really was. This is a hot quick read. Enjoy I did. This is in the Love and Whiskers bundle.
