Three and half stars is my rating. Good character development even for a children's book and the author has quite an imagination. It has everything a kid could relate to with some science fiction also thrown into the mix for added interest. I'm a pretty picky reader and will not waste time with books that don't hold my interest, but this one surely did.

Highly recommended
This story was written by a person with Asperger's and shares the challenges faced by such. The story tells of Darren realizing he may be different than other kids but can't deny that feelings of attraction for a girl that is beyond his wildest dreams can become his true, best friend. Great reading for young men and women alike.
