The Mad comics in this "best of" collection were selected by members of the Usual Gang of Idiots themselves. I liked how they each wrote a little essay explaining their choice. Also featured are short essays from various famous folks, such as Penn Jillette, George Lopez, and Paul Feig, talking about how Mad Magazine influenced their young lives. It made me realize how much Mad influenced my own love of satire, I hadn't really thought about it before. Some of the selected comics here I remembered from the time, a lot I hadn't seen before, some were funny, some not so much, but they're all Mad.
