Cornish Crusaders MC

Rate this book
‘Heather never expected or wanted the life of an old lady.’

Blade changed that.

But he left.

Now Heather has to put on a brave face and move on. Her top priority is the safety of her newborn son. To find that safety she only has one option. The Cornish Crusaders.

It didn’t take long for Heather to realise the Crusaders were a different breed of bikers. She was expecting history to repeat itself, but after a warm welcome there were no expectations of her, no disrespect and certainly no humiliation. They liked to party and lose themselves in women but when the time comes to defend and protect their club, their girls, their families, the drinks go down and the guns come out.

Just as Heather starts to live her life again old faces bring new danger and new enemies.

With all the secrets, lies and half-truths will Heather ever get to live happily ever after?

AMAZING SERIES...Couldn't put it down!
Cornish Crusaders is the second book in the South Coast Brothers MC series. All I can say is WOW! Kacey has outdone herself!

Now that Blade is gone, Heather decides to stay with her sister Daisy at the Cornish Crusaders clubhouse. Hoping to forget about Blade and the way he up and left her & Liam, Heather begins to settle in at the clubhouse. She decides to go out with everyone one night. She never expects a hot, sexy man to claim her mouth on the dancefloor and push her into a quiet corner of the club. She knows those lips. She knows those hands. Could it really be him? Where has he been & what has he been up to? But then Heather sees another woman's name come up on Blade's phone. Who is she & what does she mean to Blade? Has he been with her this whole time? Blade soon realizes he has a lot of explaining to do to Heather, before it's too late.

Grateful to his brothers in the Cornish Crusaders for looking after his family, Blade soon settles in. A lot had been going on with the Devon Destroyers while Blade was away. Now he and the Cornish Crusaders need to find out just exactly what the Devon Destroyers have been up to.

This is one of the best MC romance series I've read. The scenes between Heather & Blade are Hot! Hot! Hot! Kacey has a way of pulling you into their world and you never want to leave. Due to mature content, this book is intended for readers 18 & older.

Wow I really loved this book, even more than the first one, which was also really awesome. I was so happy with how the story went early on in the book, there was action and heaps of drama which kept you gripped, I couldn't put down my kindle just had to finish it. I loved blade has a character except for maybe 2 occasions in this book when I was like don't you dare, also loved heather and baby liam and the other kids were super cute. Cammie is one of my favourite characters and so glad she seems to be getting a happy ending, wont give anything away, but looking forward to her story next hopefully. Also looking forward to Ashlyn and drake and neil and tiffany. I also have to mention one of my other favourite characters which is solar, cant wait to hear more from him and read his story.

Another hit from Kacey Hamford.

This is the second book in ths fire-fuelled series and I love it even more than the first book. From the get go this book is full of drama and upheaval and I just couldn't wait to read more.

You see Heather come more into herself in this book as well as getting to know Cammie and all of the other crusaders.

Some definite twists and turns that keeps that tension going throughout. I even had a few moments where I wanted to shout at some of the characters.

All in all another book from this author that I couldn't put down. I'm looking forward to seeing what she writes next

Fabulously action packed second look.
So I love me some blade and I effin love the way book two has panned out.
As I say this book is action packed. Be ready for all kacey has to throw at us ;)
You will be at war with yourself. And hate kacey a little along the way but rest assured by the end all will be forgiven. That ending I'm sure heather will have something to say about that lol.
Bring on more heather blade Cammy and the gang ;)

~*ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.*~

Where can I start with this book? It was fantastic! Kacey Hamford has come along way since writing her first book and she excels in the MC Romance category. The first book, Devon Destroyers MC, was phenomenal, but this one just topped it!

It shows how much research Kacey has done to make these books work and the writing is perfection. I'm glad she started this series because I have yet to read about bikers in the UK, now I have and I love it!

Cornish Crusaders will take you on an adventure of emotions, at one point I think I wanted to throw my kindle out the window. The heartache was felt in my heart and soul, and the love made my chest swell.

FANTASTIC! And highly recommended!

Another five star read from Kacey Hamford.

I was left wanting more after I finished reading the Devon Destroyers, book one in the series and Cornish Crusaders does not disappoint.

I wanted to kill Blade when I started Cornish Crusaders now I want to kidnap him and keep him in a locked room all to myself lol.

Do Heather and Blade finally get their happy ever after? Does Cammie recover from her ordeal? Where did Blade run to? You'll have to read it to find it

I read the first book in this series and was excited for this book. Kacey Hamford outdid herself with this follow-up. I won't lie that I was angry with Blade, but I love him too much. Heather's struggle, his reappearance and their hot, chemistry make this an intriguing story that will have you ready for more. Ms. Hamford has a smooth writing style that keeps the story moving at the perfect pace pulling you into an emotionally, imperfect world. Exciting...Hot...Intense

I Love, Love the book have to say I didn't want to finish it cause I wanted more. I love Heather and Blade story from the first book even though I was a little mad on how the first book end it. But I felt more in love with this story and got to see more about Blade and why he did what he had to do. I like how the Cornish MC took Heather and Cammie in and offer to protect them. I like how Mason got to know that his feeling for Heather is friend ship only but that he will protect her like a sister. I love it when Blade comes back into the picture and explain why his been gone.

I'm so in love with the series I cant wait to read Mason and Cammie story.

This is the second book in the series and I adored it! I could not put it down. Like I said about Devon Destroyers, I've had this book sitting on my bookshelf for about 6 months too, I just cannot believe I hadn't read it yet. This is faster becoming one of my favourite series and I cannot wait for more!
The writing, again, was flawless. The characters were extremely well developed, and the storyline was so intriguing and intense.
There's only one thing that is slightly bad about this series, that's the fact that the books ended.. I just wanted to keep reading, I was completely sucked into the MC world and I didn't want to leave it!

Well if you read my review of book one you'll know I went into reading this under duress to see if this series could redeem itself. Sadly it did not! Secrets, lies, club business, I love you's, but maybe I'll sleep with this club whore or random chick, story all over the damn place and shit thrown in that DID NOT make sense!
WTF?!? Absolutely positively have nothing good to say about these two books!
Bravo to the author for attempt and putting her work out there but I am not a fan nor will I read anything else in this series! Hard Pass on this series IMO!

In this second story of Heather and Kade, Heather is back to the Cornish Crusaders with Liam and Cammie. Still heartbroken over the fact that Blade just up and left her and still not sure what she was going to do with her life. Deciding she needed to try and move on, her and Cammie went out clubbing with a couple of the guys and she was finally having a good time for herself when all of a sudden she was dancing and a guy came up behind her and starting dancing with her, she was getting into it when she heard him say Hey Sugar. She knew right away who it was and she turned and jumped away from him, he grabbed her and went to a dark corner and had his way with her. Well she realized what had happened she took off to get away from him. Jumping on another bikers bike she told him to get her out of there. When Blade was finally able to get her to listen she understood why he left and what he was doing. Getting back together was what they both needed, now Blade is told by cops they want his help to rat out his MC, totally against it, he was given no choice. Do it or go to jail himself. This story takes some twists and turns but the truth comes out in the end.

Second in the series, Kacey Hamford has certainly packed this with as much if not more than she did with the first book – and that can’t have been an easy task because the first book left little behind.
Heather never wanted to belong to the MC, to be anyone’s woman but now she is and despite the fact that Blade has left, she is going nowhere. Her life and that of Liam is with the club now and she settles in for the long haul. She belongs there now and staying with her sister Daisy, she is showing more metal than I thought she had.
I like Heather, she hadn’t had it easy and when Blade left she could very well have fallen part but, this woman is made of tougher stuff, she gathers her emotions, keeps them in check and just cracks on. But everyone needs the opportunity to cut loose every now and again and Heather is no different, so when the others suggest a night out, she is up for a change of scenery and the chance to relax.
But things take an unexpected twist for her when she comes face to face or should I say lips to lips with someone that she never expected to see again, could he really be back and if he is , where the heck has he been?
Heather is in a spin when she realises that her senses are being overloaded by the fact that Blade, is before her but no matter how much she wants him to be back, she wants answers first. Especially when it appears that he may not have been alone while he was away?
Blade is sharp enough to know that Heather will need placating sooner rather than later, he also knows that he owes his brothers for taking care of his responsibilities, namely his family while he has been out of the picture but he isn’t the only one that has news, there has been so much happening at the club while he was out of the picture, he too has to catch up on business.
I loved Blade, his character really had me gripped, although that is not to say that he was entirely fault free, I could have bashed him upside the head on more than one occasion.
As you would imagine, there are a whole host of secondary characters in the book that I must say I am just itching to get to know better. Cammie is a peach of a character, I really like her and I am really pleased with the direction that her character is going, but I also like Ashlyn and Tiffany. But I am itching to get a little more from the guys, especially Drake and Neil but if I have to beg then I would say that above them all I need a little more Solar…please Kacey!!!
The story is not necessarily complicated so to speak but it is complex, there are so many twists and turns that it is a challenge knowing where to draw breathe and don’t even think about putting the story down, it is just not possible.
There are so many questions still unanswered that I looking forward to the next book, the series is addictive.

I'd been waiting for book 2 forever.

I wasn't disappointed, I was so mad with Blade at the end of Book 1. Where did Blade disappear to?

Now that Blade is gone, Heather goes to stay with her sister Daisy at the Cornish Crusaders clubhouse. Hoping to forget about Blade and hoping that the Cornish Crusaders will protect her and help her somehow get over the devastation of Blade leaving without a word.

Heather starts to slowly get use to life after Blade and one night goes to a party at the clubhouse.
Only as she dancing she feels the hard press of a man behind her, those lips, those hands seem all so familiar. Surely it can't be Blade, only it is!
Blade knows he has a lot of explaining to do to Heather, but how can he explain to her without maybe hurting her more.

Now Blade needs to find out what's going on with the Devon Destroyers. Are things starting to unravel and can he help.

Book 2 is fast paced and picks up straight from where the first book ended.

I love how Kacey writes other characters that I want to know more about. In this case it's definitely Cassie.

This book is definitely worth a read.
I can't wait for the next book although I'm gutted that Blade & Heather's story is over but I'm so glad they can't there HEA.

I was gifted a copy of these books for review.
Wow! This series is completely different but you completely become hooked. From the first book in the series Heather is thrown into a world she neither wanted or choose. Her smart mouth is one of the things I love about her character.
In book 2 she is trying to cope with Blades disappearance. With no note or a goodbye she is at a loss as to what went wrong. She turns to Masons club for help.
What I like about book two is that the story also encompasses Cammie and Mason. Cammie is one of those characters that grab you and pull you in even when you have doubts at the beginning.
Heather is a strong woman and is a compassionate character. She pretty much adapts to every obstacle thrown into her path. The unexpected surprises that Blade hands her in this book are a bit overwhelming yet she kept her head up. These two have amazing chemistry and prove that a family doesn't have to be blood to love and support you. Sometimes the greatest gifts come when you least expect them.

*****I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.*****

I totally fell in love with Blade and Heather in Devon Destroyers (Book 1) and that continued straight into book two. Cornish Crusaders is the second in this MC series and it certainly doesn't disappoint. It's fast paced and picks up straight from where the first book ended. Were reintroduced to characters and some new relationships form. I always enjoy books where the storyline is so detailed and there's lots of hot sexy scenes and this is definitely one of them.

As I said previous I love Blade and Heather, but Kacey always writes secondary characters that I also fall in love with and want to know more about. In this case it's definitely Cassie. This book is definitely worth a read and I read the full thing in one sitting.

It's a privilege to beta read for Kacey and she in one of my favourite authors of 2015. Her work always keeps me interested and I'm always hooked from the first page.

Another 5 star read Kacey! Loved it!

Must read book 1 Devon Destroyers first. Heather is now Blades old lady but he left her with no note and no phone call. She knows it's not safe for her to stay at the Devon Destroyers compound so she heads to her sister. Her sister is part of the Cornish Crusaders MC. They are a much different breed of bikers than the Devon Destroyers. There is lots of intrigue and secrets in book 2. Will Heather ever learn the whole truth or will the Devon Destroyers and Blade keep it from her? This series is not for the faint of heart. There's heart ache, secrets, lies, violence, and is not for the faint of heart. Can Heather ever get her HEA or will the past destroy any chance she has at happiness? Just as with book 1 there's a cliff hanger. Hopefully the next book won't take too long because I need to know what happens next. This series has me on the edge of my seat.
