Another good one in the Coronado series. Travis has been injured while on an op and is trying to come to grips with not being returned to active duty. Since he's been in the company of his brothers for 15 years, he wants to go on a road trip alone to begin the adjustment process. He encounters a beautiful young woman in a biker bar, totally out of place, and promises to look after her. She is roses and sunshine to everyone except him. He has become fascinated with her and won't let her go.

She reluctantly allows him to help, when circumstances render her unable to help herself. Sooner or later, she finds herself unable to resist Travis and allows him to help. Eventually, they heal each other. Many other adventures follow, including some they could have done without. Good one, though. I am a little confused by the notes at the end of this one. Hart refers to Match, and upcoming collection of the matchmaking stories, as the last in the series and due later this year. Later she refers to a total of 17 books for the series. Where do those books come in if the "last" one is coming out this year and it's #5? Lea Hart, please clarify!

AWESOME !!! This may be the sweetest romance I've read this year, and I read a lot !!!! This full novel is well written, interesting and super sexy. The deep thought-filled characters make this book wonderful!! School teacher Cary is on a summer vacation to spice up her boring life. She wanders into a Biker Bar when her car breaks down, and gets help. While waiting for the tow truck, she chats with hard core bikers and makes new friends. She is a bout as sweet as anyone can be. Along comes Travis, who's hard, strong, muscled, and an ex SEAL, who "Snake" asks to watch Cary. She doesn't want to be watched, she wants adventure, but the SEAL doesn't want her hurt. They become reluctant friends and travel together. She gets her wild sex, and adventure. (Lots of super hot sex) Their journey is a twist and turn road that leads them back to San Diego, where her house is being remodeled, and Travis takes her in. He's fallen in love with her, but needs to convince her it's for real. With new friends, a SEAL team camaraderie and their gals, Cary has something she's never had, a sense of belonging and a friends that will help, no matter what. The story flows well, and is funny, sweet, and caring, with understanding, acceptance and true love. I loved Travis and Cary as people in need of one another. Loved the dog, Travis's reaction to her getting a baby to foster, and everything else about this tale. Loved It !!!
I will read this one again and recommend it to everyone. Terrific story !! You will not be disappointed. ENJOY !!!!

Loved the cover, and took a chance. I needed a biker bar book with a SEAL in it!

Cary's having an Emotional Makeover -- she's getting out of her rut, being adventurous, and having fun! Until her car breaks down, and she's forced to look for help at a biker bar. While she charms the bikers, she's rather abrupt with Travis, but he decides to stick around and get to know the cute teacher who's so not interested in him. As Travis convinces Cary to take a chance on him, Cary discovers that an adventure can happen right at home.

Cary's a little to good to be true. She charms everyone, she's kind to animals and old people, she's attractive, fun, and smart. Travis is hot, sweet, caring, good in bed, protective, and best of all...handy around the house! He falls for her, she falls for him, they get their HEA. The End.

And maybe that's why I didn't get to 4 stars. It's a sweet and spicy romance, but there's almost no dramatic tension. The biggest question is ...how long will it take Cary to figure out that Travis is the real deal.

But it's a solid 3-stars, with great dialogue and engaging characters.

Seriously, I love the banter, the sarcasm, the one-liners. Maybe I have an over active imagination....maybe it was the theater training in my misspent youth .... but four stars for having me laugh so hard with the biker bar visuals I had tears run down my face! Absolutely priceless! As to the story....same theme - strong handsome SEAL eyes damsel thinking she's in distress only to find she's not so vulnerable and falls hard, usually in 5mins certainly within 24 hours. Damsel talks a lot about feeling smothered but must like it because none of them really do anything about it, and low and behold they all get big rocks placed on their fingers and walk down the aisle with the most handsome, strong, physically perfect, hung like a horse sexual dynamo, mentally sharp, most understanding, protective, loving, super hero, and communicative man alive. Okay I know communicative is a stretch but hey, such a man could exist....somewhere....in the universe....maybe in a place far, far, away....it could happen. 80)

This is my 1st Lea Hart book, and it's my last. The 4- and 5-star reviews are so misleading, and I'm so annoyed.

The truth is that the author's writing style is incredibly stilted, especially her 'dialogue'. She has no idea how to use commas, so everyone seems to talk in constant run-on sentences. This reads like a 13-year-old's 'fantasy' scenario, with simple conversations, unsophisticated humor, and immature situations and solutions.

Thanks, but no thanks. This is one of those books that needs to be edited, like now. I'll never again so much as peruse a Lea Hart book, since the poor writing literally gives me a headache.

This was an interesting read in that Cary is looking for adventure, and seems to charm bikers and waitresses, and everyone in between. Except Travis. With him, she’s acerbic, annoyed, and avoidant. Which draws him all the more towards her.

Once he falls in love with her and decides she’s his, he just has to convince her. He takes her on adventures, let’s her lead, anything to keep her. Slowly, she accepts her feelings for him, and all his SEAL brothers and family as hers also.

Not the best writing, too artificial at times, even too sappy. But, a fun read overall.

I love this series and REALLY love this book!

I can't begin to tell you how much I loved this book! I won't include any spoilers but the further I read into this story the more I loved Travis and Cary! I recommend you read the first 2 books and then this one, but if you are only going to read one book, make it this one!

Adventure

The meeting of Cary and Travis was so sweet. Travis definitely is made of the patience of Job. Cary is so cute. Her fear of being boring was sad. I was glad that Travis was so good for her. It could have gotten boring but I liked the way it spiced up toward the end. I definitely want to read how the rest of the Team find there love matches.

Really good

I really enjoyed this book! Travis was a gentle giant with his lady and a beast with anyone who threatened his family. The story flowed and had the best ending. I loved Travis and Cary!

I happen to love all this series and all the characters in the book. I like reading books were the lives of the characters intertwine. Cary and Travis's love story was a little unconventional in the way it started, but I still loved the twists and turns of their love and happy ending.

This is another very enjoyable book in this series. I love the characters, the story, and the romance, as well as the men launching into protection mode. I also like that their service for our country is honored. A very good book.
