A really great book that delves into the reasons many people eat when they are not hungry including depression, anger, boredom etc. There was lots of great information and tips in this book and the final chapter brought everything together and explained how to finally be at peace with food and yourself. Highly recommend!

Straightforward book about eating as a response to various emotions, such as anger, stress, boredom, and loneliness including success stories of individuals in each chapter. Good place to start reading about emotional eating without all of the psychobabble. At the end of each chapter, there are practical, alternative ways to deal with emotions instead of eating, and the last chapter gives tips for making permanent changes including creating an "anchor" to help remind you why you're making these changes.
