My curvy heroines are strong, sassy women, which is why the werebear men who love them will do anything for their love.

Another not so Disney adult fairy tale

Well Beauty and the Billionaire Bear is another spicy addition to The Shifter Prince series. Sable Sylvan is proving herself quite adroit at spinning a new twist on traditional fairy tales. Much like the original tale Rose is compelled to volunteer staying with the “Beast” when her father does something that could mean his being arrested. There is the requisite library as well. Oh and let’s not forget magical roses. In fact Beast has an obsession with roses… can anyone say mate mark? I’m at a quandary in not telling you just who Beast is because that would be a spoiler. You see Beast’s identity is secret for much of the story so any clues would definitely be a spoiler but I will tell you his name and identity is very apropos.

Unlike Belle’s sweet demure character in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Rose is in your face protective of her family. She’s feisty and she is in no way demure and innocent. Let’s just say that when the chemistry ignites between these two, things get rather steamy. Beast on the other hand is a control freak with just a few issues. Luckily his issues have a solution in the form of one curvy Rose. All in all Beast proves he is one lovable hunk of bear.

This tale is a nice novella length with a great pace, plenty of steam and a few twists on the traditional. I really enjoyed it. I’m definitely looking forward to the next in the series. This ARC was received in exchange for an honest review.

A Delicious Adult Fairy Tale

From the very beginning of Sable Sylvan's Beauty and the Billionaire Bear I had a huge grin on my face. Ms. Sylvan has taken the classic Beauty and the Beast story and cleverly transformed it into a modern day bear shifter tale. And it works perfectly! The addition of details such as cell phones, limos, and current language is delightfully fun. Ms. Sylvan's ability to incorporate it all into this novella without losing the fairy tale quality is remarkable.

And how brilliant is it that Beast is a bear shifter? A very gorgeous, sexy, stubborn, and cranky bear shifter longing to find his mate. Who just might have fallen into his lap.

Rose will do anything for her father and sisters. She has given up college to help raise her sisters since the death of her mother. Now, when her father is caught stealing a rose for her from Beast's greenhouse, Rose volunteers to do whatever it will take to right the wrong.
Which means agreeing to live at his mansion for a month. How hard can that be, right?

Turns out Rose's intention of staying aloof and angry at Beast for his ridiculous need to punish her father is much harder than she thought. That's not to say she doesn't give him a hard time. She's no door mat. But damn if she isn't attracted to him from the moment they meet. The feeling is mutual, and as the story progresses so does the sizzling chemistry between these two.

Beauty and the Billionaire Bear is one witty, sexy, and hot little novella I'd highly recommend.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review

The cover is beautiful with both beasts and the gorgeous rose…simply perfect :)

This is the 2nd book in this series. It is for adults only due to the steamy content. This is a novella length HEA (Happily Ever After), and it is standalone. You do not have to read book 1 though I highly recommend it :)

This is a great feel good story, but book 1 is still my favorite :) Beast is a gruff and growly out of control bear man. He definitely has some issues he is working through. Rose is sweet and doesn’t have any experience out in the world because she takes care of her sisters and father. This story definitely reminds you of Beauty and the Beast, but Sable has made it unique and added my favorite part….shifters. I really enjoy all the fairy tale twist stories.

I recommend this to readers who love the fairy tale twists and especially with shifters :)

This turned out to be a big mistake as her Father got in trouble for taking one of the flowers. The only way to keep her Father out of jail is Rose agrees to work for the man in charge of the Mill who tells her his name is "Beast" lol for one month. Rose finds herself treated like a princess. What does this man this Beast really want with her?. You can not help but fall in love with this amazing sweet and touching book!. Beauty And The Billionaire Bear by Sable Sylvan
I just fell in love with a great book. A grown up story for those who like a spicy hot book. This is one of my favorite stories by Sable Sylvan. It is a romance novella with hot scene, and it's a fast read with some twist in it. Rose's Father is in big trouble and she will do anything to help the family. Rose, who is human and Beast who is a bear shirfter, has found his fate mate. You may think this is just a fairy tale and yes it is, but it is so much more. It is one that I will save and read again. This book was given to me for my honest opinion.

I was gifted an ARC from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

Another wicked take from a classic fairy tale. Beauty & the Beast, gets rewritten by Sable, who throws her twists into the story, making it more for the adult than the child. I quickly found myself sucked into the story of Rose & Beast, the storyline has been updated, adding steam, wit, adult content. This is book 2 in Sable's "Shifter Princes" series, I can't wait to read what Fairy Tale gets a Sable makeover.

Beauty And The Billionaire BearSable Sylvan

I'll never see Baseball equipment, bat or balls, in quite the same way again, that's for sure. I love this adult twist on an old favourite.

'Beauty and the Billionaire Bear' is the second book in The Shifter Princes series by Sable Sylvan and I was given an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) by the author in exchange for an honest review. I love this version of Beauty and the Beast, with the bones of an old fashioned fairy story and the flesh of a hot and steamy paranormal romance set in the here and now. This series of modern day twists on old favourites is not for the young. This is an 18+ Adults Only series of paranormal romances and if you love shifters, you'll love this book.

Rose works as a part-time waitress and has been a full-time surrogate mother for her two teenage sisters since their mother died three years ago. Their father, Jake, works at the Asher Lumber Company mill in upstate Montana, a three hour drive away from their small home in Big Sky, and has been working extra weekends to be able to put money in college funds for when the two younger girls graduate High School. They always ask for expensive presents when he comes home after weeks away working, but Rose understands that they can't afford such things and asks for some wildflowers for herself.

'Beast' has caught Jake stealing a rose, a very special rose, and is going to press charges, but takes Jake to see his family before going to the police. He gets more than he bargained for when he meets the angry and feisty Rose, Jake's eldest daughter. He just knows she's his mate, so he makes a deal with her. She'll keep him company for a month in exchange for her father's freedom, despite her having absolutely no idea who his is. But all is revealed by the end of the book.

This is a really great read and I loved all the characters, but I do think Rose's sisters could do with a short sharp lesson in the realities of how hard to earn and how easy to spend money is. You may think you know what's going to happen, and in the broadest possible sense, you probably do. Beast gets Rose and they all live happily ever-after, but there is so much more to this story than the outline. This terrific paranormal romance has love, steam, humour, potential industrial espionage, a bear on the edge, a woman who loves him and, of course, the HEA.

You have to wonder if fate steps in sometimes and directs you in the direction that you need to go. Well I believe that is what happen for Rose and Thorne aka Beast. Rose and Beast shared one thing in common. They both had lost someone. He knew what it was like to be lonely and long for someone to spend your life with.

Rose is this amazing plus size, beautiful, sassy woman. She did not hesitate to sacrifice for her family. When her mom died she stepped up and helped take care of her sisters. She decided to even give up going to college and help save up to put her twin sister’s to thru college. They never had much, but they had love and each other. Rose’s sisters did not understand the money situation like Rose did, So all that Rose asked for was for her dad to pick her some flowers and bring them home from work. She never dreamed of the problems it would cause.

Here is were fate stepped in and made sure Rose and “Beast” met. See the rose that Rose’s father picked for her was a special rose from his boss. His boss was determined to press charges and send Rose’s father to jail. Rose did not hesitate to step in and help her father out. Never would she believe that she would have to go and work or spend time with this Bear Shifter of a boss. What could be so special about a freaking rose that someone would want to send another person to jail for?

Thorne aka Beast knew that he had found his fate mate the moment he saw Rose. He had spend years looking for her and now here she was. Could he win her heart? Will he be able to control his bear to keep from taking her to soon? He had one month to win her, but he wanted to do it the right way. He wanted to treat her like a princess.

I love how Sable tied one of the previous books from this series to this one. Want to know how and which book, well need to read the book to find out. I also loved Hannah in this book and would love to see a book decade to her finding her mate.

his little dipper against his big bear body. 5 roses

This story is written so...wait for it...flowery! Bwaahahaaha sorry, I couldn't resist! Now I am somewhat familiar with the story of Beauty & the Beast, but only the gist of it, which is one of the reasons that I loved this story so much! Another would be because of Sable's growth as an author. I have been happily reading her books every week they come out, and they just keep getting better & better. I am absolutely thrilled to bits that Rose has an identity that is NOT about her size! This is the first book like that and I cannot find the words to thank Sable enough for toning down the 'fat' part of the BBW!! That was always a thorn in my side and took away from the story in past books, so I am happy to see the girl and her story get the main focus and let her be more than a one dimensional type of character! That is yet one more reason why I love Rose & Beast's Fairy Tale! Well lots more actually! There were so many touching moments, funny moments, hot moments and the odd frustrating one too, but when put all together they intertwine into a terrific story worth reading over & over! The fact that Rose was so ignorant or maybe more innocent, about Beast actually added to the beauty of it. “A real, raw, emotional connection.” That is a line from the story but I feel it works so perfectly to describe so much more about this story!! Of course, the couple of what I felt to be HUGE shockers were awesome and not something I ever had thought about, considered nor expected, which I guess is why they are 'shockers'. snicker All in all, this was one beauty of a story where the roses bloom so perfectly and the thorns are the greatest protector a rose could ever hope for! I feel that Sable is coming into her own and is proving that she has the tremendous amount of talent to take her to the top of the Shifter Fairy Tale charts and keep her there, happily ever after.

Beauty and The Billionaire Bear by Sable Sylvan
Rose Charleston has given up a life of her own to help raise her sisters. Since her father has to go a long distance for his job he leaves the girls with her. Teens being what they are always ask for gifts. Rose on the other hand always asks for a flower or something that her father doesn’t have to pay for she understands money is a problem. Little did she know that this time asking for a flower would be the cause of all the changes about to happen in her life. Now if this sounds like a familiar fairy tale it is only with a twist. This time the Beast is a monster (who happens to be a shifter) boss that wants to put her father in jail for stealing a valuable rose. What will Rose be willing to give up for her father’s freedom? When you read this adult fairy tale you will find out. There is some hot romance in this version to add to the plot not found in the original version. Enjoy this adult tale by Sable Sylvan and you will have a whole new idea of Beauty and the Beast. Since Beauty and the Beast was my favorite fairy tale I have to admit I really, really, like this new version.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review .Sable Sylvan has done it again this second story in the Shifter Princes Series is just as fantastic a read as the first book .In this book we meet Rose who since her mothers passing has raised her sisters and looked after the home while her father works away from home .Rose asks her father to bring her a flower when he returns not knowing that her father will steal one of his employers .Beast has brought her father home one last time to say goodbye to his family before he pays for his crime not knowing he is about to meet his fated mate .Rose and Beasts journey is a wonderful tale that I immediately fell into and forgot about everything else for awhile it was a perfect read .The story flowed along smoothly and I really enjoyed the banter between Rose and Beast my only complaint is that the story ended and now I have to wait for the next one lol.
I highly recommend this book to others out there who enjoy fairy tale re -tellings and paranormal you wont be let down.

This was given as a Arc review. Well, As a child I have read all the Fairy Tales over and over.. because that's what children do. Now, as an Adult I get to read the Adult version and have Loved all that I have read so far.Beauty and The Billionaire Bear was and Excellent read and the way Sable wrote it was beautifully done. Of course, Rose would take the deal... not to loose her father and leave all three girls in limbo. She sacrifices herself to the Beast to save her father from going to prison, Someone needs to take care of the younger two girls so dad is needed at home. Rose made the deal to stay for one month as agreed per the Beast's deal. Nightly she would hear the loud growling of a bear that she's not used to now staying way out in the country.Things go pretty smoothly, until they share meals and the bickering begins. Rose just happens to be Thorn's Fated Mate. So he works hard to make sure she's pampered and happy, But she's not.. she wants something more than being a dress up doll. Can they figure that out together?

This is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast but Beast is a bear. I found it to be a quick easy read. The story has unique twists that show it is a shifter book but not so dramatic it took away from the story. Will read the others in the series.

I absolutely love Sable Sylvan's modern and sexy twist to classic fairy tales, and this is simply another great example of how it's done. "Beast" has been over the top obsessed with finding the meaning behind his "mate mark", to the point that he has to control every aspect in his life, including his inner bear. But all of that control can be dangerous. Rose has lived too many years as a surrogate mother for her twin sisters after the passing of their mother. Since her dad works over three hours away, they only see him on weekends and holidays, so, as the oldest, it only made sense that she step up and fill the hole, especially since money was scarce, barely enough to keep them clothed and fed with a roof over their heads. The twins always asked their father for gifts, but Rose knew how little money they had. When he asks what she would like, she makes what she thought was a simple request, a beautiful flower from the mill where he works. If only they knew just how much that flower was going to change their lives.
Packed full of action, emotions on high, and enough love to fill the world, this tale will have you re-thinking fairy tales as we know them. An awesome read. I can only wonder what tale the third book in the series will be.

Title: Beauty And The Billionaire Bear
Series: The Shifter Princes
Note: This is a continuation books in the series, book 2, but is a stand alone.
Author: Sable Sylvan

This is my review of Beauty And The Billionaire Bear, book 3 in The Shifter Princes Series. I got this book in the series free in exchange for an honest review. This is the continuation of a great world and it can be read as a standalone with no cliffhanger ending, it is the whole story. Be warned though you will not want to stop with just this one book and you will want to know the whole story from start to beginning. This book mentions other characters from the other books and it may just been in passing but you may find yourself wanting to know more about the other couples. Despite the length it does move at a good pace and keeps you interested. In fact I moved through the book so fast I was sad when it was over. :(

As you can tell from the title this is the story of basically Beauty and the Beast. Beauty is a woman named Rose who agrees to spend a month at the castle of a bear shifter who only calls himself Beast. Her father took something he was not supposed to and this is the only way to save him. Convinced that she is to be used for unsavory things during this month she is shocked to find out that she is only required to join Beast once a week for dinner. She finds out fast that they have a lot in common and she falls for him, fast and hard. She is his fated mate and both Rose and Beast are excited about that. But when the secret of what is really wrong with Beast comes out will Rose stay with him or allow the darkness to claim him?

I like how the old fairy tail was changed in order to include shifters and more modern times. It is a nice way to see a new story within technically an older story. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little short but I still loved it. You will laugh as well at some of the phrases used yo describe things like "twig and berries", etc. And yes, the giant library is included, can't have a Beauty and the Beast story without the huge library.
